We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths. (Walt Disney). We've all wanted to accomplish new things every once in awhile. I've been trying to try new thing but, I'm either busy, don't have time to do anything or i'm just exhausted. But even in the future I'm not going to be slowed down by anything anymore. One accomplishment I would like to do in the future is go skydiving because, It's a new experience, it helps with facing your fears, and it makes you prepared for anything to happen.
First of all I heard that skydiving was a risky thing to do and, you can really see your life flash before your eyes. It's one of the most coolest things that
Having been adopted and overcome an incurable disease, I view the world as a place of opportunity and new beginnings. As a child my goal was to grow up and be like Einstein, but as I grew older I realized that there is so much more to know now than there was during Einstein's time and had no clue where to start and eventually I started listening to what I felt I wanted rather than what I was convincing myself I wanted.
The opportunity to rebuild and reshape my niche in the world is what I love the most about flying. Seeing the Earth from my vantagepoint in the sky, imagination has no
Accomplishment is a great thing don’t you think? “The reason life is filled with tragedy, with long patches of struggle and with,I think, beautiful burst of joy and accomplishment. Blessed with those moments, you just try to relax as much as possible and focus on the little things”.Quoted by David Dickerson. The things I want to accomplish is get a scholarship to play baseball in college, go to Australia and, go to Pennsylvania.
If you are looking for adventure that will take you to the stars and send you plummeting towards the earth, then sky diving is an adventure that can be useful to exploit. No need to be experienced as beginners are invited to strap on a pack and spend 60 seconds in freefall followed by five minutes of decent with a slide on your back. Getting to see the entire area from the
Have you ever had a goal and you would do anything to achieve it? Changing how we are and the things we do for people in life, is not as impossible as it seems. I have seen people do amazing things that have changed their lives forever. It is special to have that feeling that you just met your goal and it was the biggest goal you had out of all of the other goals. That is how goals shape us in life.
At the end of my senior year of high school, I had to make a senior portfolio; part of the project was to write down your goals and make a timetable for where you see yourself in five or ten years. I wrote that my goal in life is to be happy and I skipped the timetable because if my goal is to be happy then I can’t plan out how to obtain that goal. Who knows what will make me happy in five years? Life is constantly changing; nothing actually stays the same. It is important to set goals for yourself, but my idea of goals is different. I want to be happy and my goal is to take whatever smaller steps are necessary to get there.
I am still not 100% sure where my life is headed or what is in store for me, but I think that’s the beauty of life. Growth is what makes us who we are. Growth in our relationships, growth in our thought process, even growth in our faith, they all make us. Even though many of us may not know exactly where we are headed, it’s the experience and failures along the way that form the path of life and
Like many other adventure seekers and outdoor enthusiasts, Chad Clift loves to skydive. He has jumped many times, on his own and in tandem. He really likes to take his friends with him, especially if they are new to the exhilarating sport. Clift says jumping from that plane makes him feel truly alive.
First of all, I will inform you all about the basics of skydiving, the risks and conception of safety.
Past, present and future are all important to keep in perspective. Looking back and not having regrets is extremely satisfying. Your current situation and your contentment with it are also very important, and having goals and milestones to work toward in the future keeps you motivated and keeps life interesting and challenging.
Ⅰ. I love to experience new things since I was a little guy - not because I want to show up to anyone but the more I experienced, the more I feel accomplished. I started off by doing all the little things that I have never experienced then comes bigger things. I don’t call jumping out of a plane or doing something to embarrass yourself is a smart thing to experience. About 10 months ago, I tried something new that had changed my life forever.
As a child and even as a teenager one tends to make dreams and set goals for life. On occasion these goals are far stretched and sometimes even fairy-tale like, we tend to see life through a rose-colored glass, not taking into account the many sidetracks life throws our way. At that stage in life our goals tend to be less focused and somewhat unreachable. However, the process of growing up, or maturing, tends organized and center our goals, we learn to make compromises and set goals for our goals. There are different types of goals, short term and long term. I have learned to separate the many goals I have into three main categories: family, professional and personal.
In my family it was always a big accomplishment to graduate high school. For me that’s not that big of an accomplishment, I want to go bigger. The goals my family wanted me to accomplish are easy, but I’m pushing myself to achieve my own goals. My goals are to play college basketball and study to be a construction engineer.
“Cool” can be expressed through the courage that people have to experience new things, including taking risks. What makes skydiving cool is that it presents a new thrilling experience that not many get to have. Combined with the potential risks and the overall experience, skydiving has many appeals that can be considered as “cool” to the functional aesthetics of a person. Skydiving embodies this concept of “cool” because it takes nerve to overcome the perceived risk of death to jump out a moving plane. It is a unique experience that individuals should put on their bucket list because it gives the skydivers the opportunity to explore new feelings that they often would not experience in their normal life. Therefore, the purpose of the project is to inform and persuade the audience to skydive because it does not only illustrate “cool”, but it also functions as stress release.
Life sometimes seems scary. The fear of failure and the fear of the unknown make a person rethink its choices and goals, this happens all the time. As time passes, be days, moths, years or only simply one experience can change our whole vision of the world, about life, about what really matters and consequently about our goals. Throughout my whole life I have questioned so many aspects of my life, of existence, and consequently about my future. I never stopped wanting to achieve something big, that could change the whole world, some amazing adventure that would be the one thing that would give birth to all the amazing things that could happen next. As time passed I realized that life itself is one big adventure, and that what I will do every day will matter for me and for the people around me. I realized that life is not some perfect movie where there are good guys, bad guys and that in the end of one amazing journey everything would be solved. It may be a childish vision of the world, but it had motivated me for years to do the thing I believed would help me achieve this, and to believe in myself. Obviously as I grew up, I saw what the world really looked like, that sacrifices have to be made, that there are things which no one can control, that if I want something I have to work really hard. In today society everything counts.
