Sleep disorders are caused by sleeping too much in the daytime, or it may also be caused by medical conditions. It can be physiological or psychological reasons. Sometimes we can have problems with sleeping. But it is only normal if it is sometimes. If it happens repeatedly then it is a problem it might be you are experiencing a sleeping disorder.
There are many are many forms of sleeping disorders and causes. It can have a negative problem on you. You can experience energy loss, health problems, and emotional balance. If you experience feeling sleepy during the day, drinking lots of caffeine to be able to function, having difficulties staying awake while watching TV then you may have a sleeping disorder.

If you think that you or any person you know may have sleep apnea you have to see a doctor as soon as possible. This is very serious. It is a life threatening sleep disorder. It can be treated with Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP). This a device that looks like a mask and i delivers a stream of air to you while you sleep. Sleep can be simply defined as "a reversible behavioral state of perceptual disengagement from and unresponsiveness to the environment" (Kryger, Roth & Dement).
