The Industrial Revolution was a revolution in every sense of the word, as it altered almost every aspect of live in the nineteenth century including technology, government, communication, environment and eventually society as a whole.1 Although industrialisation created many positives for modern society, for people in Britain up to the end of the nineteenth century it had many significantly negative consequences. With the long term advances made for society came the then current development of overcrowding cities abundant with pollution, health problems and poor living conditions for the working class. These poor conditions continued into the work place with young children exploited as workers as young as the age of four or five.2 There were consequences of the Industrial Revolution for people outside of the core of Britain. India, being the periphery in the model were exploited for their raw materials which were exported to Britain.

The Industrial Revolution began in England during the late 1700s. It came with a wide range of both positive and negative effects for the economy and the people. Looking back from today, the Industrial Revolution was definitely a positive thing, as people now have a high standard of living with lots of conveniences. One must also acknowledge the people living during the Industrial Revolution and how they viewed the Industrial Revolution as a bad thing that came with many negative effects. While some might argue that Industrialization had primarily negative consequences for society because of the terrible living conditions and hazardous working conditions, it was actually a positive thing for society. England's previous success from the Agricultural Revolution gave leeway to the Industrial Revolution of the seventeenth and eighteenth hundreds. Previous landowners and investors of the Agricultural Revolution were able to start or participate Corporations and Businesses to seek great profit. New machinery and technological innovations were frequent due to the demand for faster, more efficient technology. Working class families, who were arguably the sole reason for the grand success of the Industrial Revolution, moved from their farms into crowded and dirty urban towns to work long hours in harsh factories for little pay in hopes of one day living a decent life, while the middle class gained many luxuries and lived lavish lifestyles

The Industrial revolution was established in England around the late 1700’s. During this time, there was an increase of production by mecheniary and new resources. Several negative and positives outcomes came from the Industrial Revolution. The Industrial revolution fundamentally chnaged British life in the early 1800s by polluting the envierment, appaling working conditions and leaading British to writte acts to protect childrens rights.

The Industrial revolution was a pivotal time in the worlds history due to the major advances in many fields such as; Industry and agriculture that occurred between the 18th and 19th century. Advancements such as developments in medicine, housing and inventions and more, had direct effects on many key aspects of what is here today. Conditions for those who lived in the time were not easy, wages were low, lack of safety, and general living conditions were all round terrible. Yet many of things first brought about in the time period shaped what we have today and were the early building blocks to modern creations.

The Industrial Revolution was a heavily influential period of time filled with amazing innovations and new ways of doing things. Thanks to the Industrial Revolution, our entire way of living has been altered- and is still being altered to this day! However, all of these perks came with a major downfall for England when the IR started. Whether it was the cruel factory conditions, false sense of security in new technology, or the newfound social barriers, the Industrial Revolution was a curse for England at the time. In order for innovations to be made, there had to be people making them; producing them. That much was the job of the factory workers who withstanded much struggle.

The Industrial revolution changed the world in many ways. There was a demand for coal, yarn, and many other goods to be transported around the globe. These goods need created many jobs and technical advances in the civilization during this time making it the Industrial revolution. Jobs were needed to create ways to gather the substances such as the flying shuttle helped weave yarn faster on the loom making more demand, and then jobs to travel the goods like railroads (Duiker, 539). The need for workers was great for society however the living and working conditions for the middle class were not great. In Britain and many places around the like the Chicago stock yard workers and their families were put up in row houses. Row houses were over occupied with little rooms, and poor conditions such as the sewer drainage (Duiker, 539). The working class made little pay compared to the owners of the industries making it hard to break this cycle of under the line living and working conditions.

The industrial revolution in Great Britain marked the ending of an era in the country’s rich history. Once one of the most powerful nation on earth, there were now dark days imminent. Massive job loss, loss of economic power, and reconstructed social dynamics rode in on the heels of the industrial revolution. The Industrial Revolution was a period of intense industrialization among Great Britain starting in the early 1800s. Factories were now being built among cities to help the Middle Class find stable jobs while population was increasing. Though the ideas had a slow start to a long process, the factory setting turned out to be a sustaining working environment for many. However, some may argue the Industrial Revolution had only positive outcomes on society, when in contrast, there were many negatives towards the idea of industrialization. People were killed, found to be homeless, and there were harsh working conditions in the factories.

The industrial revolution was a time in history when the world drastically changed. Many people may think that this was a great time in history.Even though this revolution produced many things that we have today, negative side effects came along with it.

Do you ever stop and think the favorable and opposing impacts of the Industrial revolution? The industrial revolution was the rapid development of production that began in Britain in the late 1700’s. During the Industrial Revolution, the working class were working for about 16 hours a day including children. This lead children and adults in bad terms. In other words, they were living in urban areas and many diseases were spreading due to the fact that they wouldn’t take good care of themselves.The Industrial Revolution began in Great Britain in the 18th Century because Agricultural Revolution had more resources, Britain had resources, and Britain had wealth to invest.The Industrial Revolution was rapid changes in how products were made and sold by using machines in the late 1700s through the early 1900s. There were many economic and social effects in the Industrial Revolution. The working class struggled a lot with money issues and they would get sick often due to the poor working conditions. During the Industrial Revolution, the effects were economic negative because the workers were getting treated unfairly. It was also negative social because the working class were living in bad conditions.

The working condition in the industrial revolution were tribal the hours were very long the safety for the works were bad. They had to work for as long as 12 to 14 hours a day and the income was very little. There were a lot of death and illness that could have been treated

During the late 19th century, the second industrial revolution began as a result of the economic growth after the Civil War. The rapid increase in population from European immigration provided a new cheap source of labor, and developments in technology changed how items were manufactured. Large business corporations and monopolies also emerged and contributed to substantial economic and industrial growth. As more people flooded to into the cities to work in factories, geographic mobility transformed to allow easier transportation from the countryside. Educational and environmental reforms worked to better living conditions, and new forms of entertainment emerged. Overall, many American lives changed to fit the new society. Social classes and movements became a distinctive part of everyday life. The industrial revolution of the late 19th century drastically altered the lives of Americans as it increased the gap between the rich and the poor, emphasized literature, and led to greater consumerism.
