The production process for “The Audition” was unlike any other show I’ve been a part of. The scenes were rehearsed and broken up into sections that were often blocked out of order, and other elements of the show like the dancing and singing, also started out as separate entities from the rest of the show. On May 29th at 6:30 PM I was able to attend and perform at the 2018 CYPA Showcase that took place in the Central York Auditorium. It was a very nice experience to sing in front of a musical audience. There were many performances that really stood out to me. One performance that really stood out was a song called “Two Peas in a Pod” from Grey Gardens.
