What happened in his young life is very important because those events made him who he was, a great president whose loss was greatly grieved. People were crushed to see him go. But he left a good reputation behind. He made the country stronger and set us on a path for the better, with the civil rights movements he started. Still, even after he died, Americans followed in his footsteps and that lead us to a more equal society.
