There is no universally accepted definition for quality of life but it incorporates the individual’s subjective view of a broad range of clinical, functional, and personal aspects. Researchers have developed two types of quality of life assessments. The first is health related quality of life (HRQOL), which assesses the client’s perception of how their health status affects their physical, psychological, and social functioning, and well-being. The assessment is based on a series of questions the client is asked. The second type is the overall quality of life (OQOL), which focuses on the client’s satisfaction with life in general, not just in relation to the limitations of functioning that are related to disease. According to Laudet (2011), “One influential definition of OQOL drafted by the World Health Organization (WHO) is an individual’s perception of their position in life in the context of the culture and value systems in which they live and in relation to there goals, expectations, standards and concerns” (WHOQOL Group, 1995, para. 5). The standard for measuring OQOL is the WHO quality of life instrument, which assesses the client’s perception of how they are functioning objectively. In public health, as in many fields there are a set of conundrums that practitioners, leaders and law makers have to address in order to provide the most appropriate service to their populations. One of these conundrums is the battle between what is good for the community vs. what is good for the individual. This topic will be broken up to the community vs. the individual, and discussed based on research done by Kass et al, and Oriola, and will be concluded by presenting possible solutions.

Which is cost difference determines the patterns of international trade. Absolute advantage is trade benefits when each country is at least cost producer of one of the goods being traded. In the 1800s, David Ricardo developed the theory of comparative advantage to measure gains from trades. This theory is based on comparative advantage and it states each nation should specialize in production of those goods for which its relatively more efficient with a lower opportunity cost.

Managing international business in today’s globalized world will be challenging and interesting, and it will fulfill my career goal.

Together, health in these aspects of one's life can make a drastic difference in that persons overall outlook and attitude toward life, others and themselves. Therefore it is important that we each do our best to change those parts of our lives which need it and to encourage others as they attempt to so the same.

International Relations is an important discipline in order to understand how the global system works. By studying International Relations, it is possible to analyze political, social and economic issues throughout the world and develop possible solutions for those issues. My aim to pursue master degree in International Relations is to enhance my current analyze and problem solution skills on international politics and international economic relations. Thus, by pursuing master degree in International Relations, I will be able to develop more sophisticated point of view towards international politics and economic effects on international politics.
