When an individual adheres to the standards and regulation that are set by society, they are considered a conformist in its purest form. On the opposite side of the spectrum, those who do not follow these specific guidelines set by society are labeled as nonconformists. In essence, a nonconformist is an individual who goes beyond the principles of others, at the same time, is able to enhance the well-being and creativeness of other individuals. Steve Jobs, mastermind of Apple Inc., is a nonconformist of the 21st century. Jobs’ ultimate goal during his time with Apple was to inspire the creativeness others through the use of Apple’s technology. Before Jobs founded Apple Inc. in 1976, computers were nowhere to be found in homes, instead, computers were mostly found only in labs or in certain work offices. As someone who changed the computer industry and made the personal user experience possible, Jobs proved time and time again to be a nonconformist at heart by forgoing the standards of technology.

Today, the world if full of Apple products. If you were to ask a random person on the street, odds are, they will own an apple product. Steve Jobs, the man behind Apple, did someone that no one else had done before; he created a new era of technology where people embraced and loved having the Internet, access to their friends, and entertainment all at their fingertips. Steve Jobs was born on February 24, 1955, in San Francisco, California. Steve Jobs showed an early interest in electronics and was mentored by a neighbor, who was an electronic hobbyist. In only the eighth grade, Steve was assembling a frequency counter and noticed that he was missing a crucial part. He then gave William Hewlett, co-founder of Hewlett-Packard, a call to let him know about this missing part. Mr. Hewlett sent Jobs the missing parts and then offered Steve Jobs a summer intern job. His birth mother was not married and was forced to let her child go to Paul and Clara Jobs. They later adopted another child (Patty Jobs) that would become Steve’s younger sister. From an early age, Steve loved working with machines and technology. During Jobs’ junior year in high school, he met Steve “Woz” Wozniak, who was almost 5 years older than Jobs. Which has found its way into the majority of consumers hands. 55 million homes in the United States alone contain at least one apple product according to CNBC’s All-American Economic Survey. This high number was largely caused by Steve Jobs. He had a very hands on approach as a CEO. He went beyond overseeing everything and making the final decisions, he was involved in everything Apple produced during his time there. He often aided in drawings and engineering of new products. Through his vision he put smart phones, the internet, and a whole world of information into the public's hands. He started a wave of new technology that exploded in America. During his last full year at Apple he sold 3.89 million Macbooks, 14.1 million iPhones, and 9.05 million iPods. This growth of technology reshaped America. All of a sudden the access of information was available at consumers fingertips 24/7.

They also adopted his sister patricia in 1957. While after some time of seeing his father build several work benches and various other things jobs began to take a liking into building things. Jobs had trouble making friends with the kids in his neighborhood but he quickly befriended many of the engineers in his neighborhood that loved technology also.

It is impossible to say that Steve Jobs did not play a large part in the creation of the Apple I computer and Apple itself. Without the Apple I being successful, Apple would not be the company it is today. Steve Jobs should be admired for his work on the Apple I, the device that started Apple Computer.

Steve Jobs, though mostly known for being the co-founder and CEO of Apple, was also the founder of another computer software company called NeXT, as well as the man who brought Pixar, a computer based production company, into light. Mainly through Apple, Steve revolutionized the way society manipulates technology. If you have seen Pixar produced films, such as “Toy Story” or “Monsters, Inc.”, Jobs had a direct impact on those films. Steven Paul Jobs was undoubtedly the most significant person in the journey to making home computers accessible to everyone.

We can credit one man for all this remarkable ideas, Steve Jobs, who founded the company in his parent’s small garage in 1976. Today, I am going to talk about the legendary Steve Jobs which has huge impact on shaping the modern technological world with his outstanding idea and vision.

Since 1976, Apple Inc. has been a company on the rise. Apple Inc. was created in Mountain View, California by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. Jobs and Wozniak combined their different talents and skills to make Apple into a successful company, with Job being the visionary and marketer and Wozniak had the brains in technology. Mike Markkula also joined the team as the businessman. Jobs set the mission of empowering individuals, oner person – one computer, and doing so with elegance of design and fierce attention to detail (Gamble, Thompson, 2015). And with this mission, Apple Inc. has come a long way from when it first was founded, by being one of the top electronic companies in the world. “Our people must learn to devote themselves to doing what is good, in order to provide for urgent needs and not live unproductive lives” (Titus 3:14).
