The creation of my storify was a positive experience for me. Not only did it allow me to enhance my understanding of my Unit three topic and revisit my original paper, but it sparked my creative sense. Weaving the various multimedia sources together and blending them with text to make a coherent, linear story was a difficult task. To adapt my unit three task to unit four, I had to make some minor adjustments and refocus the scope of my project. To adapt to the new setting, it was awkward to reuse the same exact topic and sources. Not only such, but it was stimulating to create a new avenue to explore. As I continued further into the project, I began to see the advantages and disadvantages to working with storify instead of the standard paragraph-by-paragraph essay. I evaluated a wide variety of topics. To begin, I briefly covered the history of baseball as it gave the reader a context by which they could base the rest of the paper off. The early days of baseball were much different from the modern game. My storify project was focused solely on the modern game of baseball (as it was the only era impacted by steroids), so this section of my essay was excluded. The rest of the sections of my essay were integrated in a minor way throughout the remainder of my storify. For example, questions such as “were steroids good for the game of baseball?” and “how did steroids impact the player's?” were answered. However, I made a major adjustment into this new unit. I decided to focus on performance enhancing drug users eligibility to the Hall of Fame. With the introduction of multimedia sources into this unit, it made for a much more interesting storify project. I was able to use interviews with ex-players, debates between sports writers, pictures, and articles to blend my argument
