GENERAL DESCRIPTION.
The purpose of this test is to test the strengths and weaknesses of the students in all the four domains which are listening, speaking, reading and writing test. This test is also design to test the structures and also the lesson that the students follow logically from the unit or lesson of the course. This washback is depicted to the interest for the test students themselves, their parents, and also the teachers. The test students are UNITAR’S ENGLISH PROFICIENCY 3, who is a Diploma-level integrated skills course student. The majority of the student who is taking this test will be aged about eighteen and nineteen years old and total of them are 35 students. The difficulty level of the test is within levels of A+ to B+. This assessment is carefully designed to evaluate the level of the students and to place them according to their proficiency level. In order to test the students according to their level from Diploma –level integrated skills course, there will be four domains of the test will be developed. Since the purpose of the test is formative, there will be a requirement on the information given. Students must have to circle the most appropriate answer for MCQ questions and for short answer questions they should provide at least five words. For fill in the blanks questions, students have to read the passage again before write the correct answer. Student must read the passage given carefully before started to write. The students also must respond very well to this test. They will focus on the main point of the conversation. They write down the main points for the suitable and correct answer for each question. They check their answers again when the recordings played

Rubric: The quiz is worth 25 points. Each selected-response question is worth 1 point. The student will receive 1 point for selecting the correct answer. Each constructed-response is worth 5 points. In order to receive all 5 points for each constructed response, the student must fulfill the criteria below. The minimum passing score is 19 out of 25
The test is worth 20 points and will be graded accordingly: Multiple Choice = 20%, True/False = 20%, Matching = 10%, and Short Answer = 50%. I will have the grades posted within 7 days.
