• In this type of integration, the software can be reused. Due to which the software development and maintenance costs are reduced which leads to a swift development of the business procedures. Secondly, utilization of this integration ensures user experience reliability across the portfolio of the applications. However, the flexibility is also increased by using this business process, as the ripple effects are reduced on a large scale when the implementation or modification takes place. It is also efficient to use where an organization can just plug and play.
3. Please compare component based integration (synchronous) and message based integration (asynchronous). Describe their advantages and disadvantages. [15 points]
• The component based integration (synchronous) is an invoke method on the remote object as a lined up request and response through the home interface. The implementation in this integration takes place on the basis of a single transaction. While in a message based integration (asynchronous) the application A communicates with application B through the messages instead of directly conjuring its function. Hence, this integration matches the request and response model of the RPC.
• In terms of advantages, in the component based integration (synchronous) the software can be reused due to which it is cost effective. Also, the ripple effects are reduced as soon as the alterations in the components take place.
Please note that this Assessment document has 7 pages and is made up of 3 Sections.
Before you start working on this part of your assessment, carry out some planning by answering the following questions.
Review the sample syllabus and sample rubric under the questions below. Then, provide answers underneath the following questions:
2. Please fill out the scanner sheet as you go along in the exam. You will not be given extra time at the end of the exam to fill it out.
3. Questions 3a through 3d are based on a distribution of scores with and the standard Draw a small picture to help you see what is required.
4. What is covered on the test? How many questions? What is the passing score? If you can't find the info, let me know.
Briefly explain the deencapsulation steps in the communication from host B receiving a message from Host A destined for an active application.
The following are study questions for the examination. The examination will be a closed-book examination.
This quiz review covers materials from Weeks 1 and 2. Your quiz will be in Week 3 located in the Quiz Tab. Your quiz will mostly comprise of multiple choice, true/false, and essay questions. The answers are at the end of the questions.
You must take the tests on the specified dates, unless your absence is excused due to extended illness, emergency, or a university conflict. A request for an excused absence due to emergency or illness must be made in writing immediately upon your return to class by completing a "Request for Excused Absence Form" available from the Instructor. For an absence due to a University conflict, the request must be made in advance of the test and a note from the coach or program director must be provided. You have the option of dropping the zero received on a missed test or taking a makeup test. All make-up tests will be held at 6:45 a.m. the Friday (or Thursday for Test 2) following the test (Rooms TBA). Generally speaking,
(B) I would like for the exam to have a little of constructed response, multiple choice, and short stories.
There are many solutions that offer communication in distributed systems. The shortcomings of the alternatives are combinations of coupling of space (i.e. sender and receiver need to hold references about each other), time (i.e. the components need to interact at the same time) and synchronization (i.e. the individual components block their activity while waiting for other processes to finish). To solve these issues we use a publish/subscribe mechanism, which decouples time, space and synchronisation. Furthermore the message delivery logic lies with the message broker, decoupling it
The main impacts brought by the lack of interoperability is it can drive up the costs. The main drivers of increasing cost include time spent on manually reentering the data from one application to another, time spent on processing requests for information, extra expenditure for data translators and so forth. (McGraw Hill Construction 2007)
Integration of many components or many services is carried out by a single service provider.
