Success is defined as the accomplishment of an aim or purpose. I aimed for something
very great throughout high school. This was one of the happiest moments of my life.
Graduating high school is a great accomplishment for many teenagers. Some people don’t
make it to graduate High School they’ll either drop out, or just because it wasn’t for them. Even
though graduating High School was my greatest success, it also was stressful, putting forth the
effort trying to pass the classes, and time management.
Being a senior in High School comes with a lot and of one them is stress. Stress is what
a typical high school or college student goes through during their 4 years in school. I also
experienced being stressed, in trying to come every day as much as I could so I can pass.
Waking up everyday at 6 am trying to make it to school on time. Stressing trying to do the work
one teacher give me because that was one of the most important classes that I needed to pass
to graduate. The thing was I trying to work around my everyday schedule, making sure I did all
of my teachers work and made sure I turned them in on time. Like one of my teachers would
give us a pile of work to do and give us about 2 days to complete. Which causes me to stay up
all times of the night trying to finish the work and losing sleep, causing me to fall in asleep in my
classes the next day.

For a student, maybe the success means to pass all courses of the semester; for a business man, signing a importance contract and get a lot of money are successes; and for a president, leading the country to develop and make the people have a better life are success. As a freshman in high school, I had the worst grades in Biology, English and Math. I was struggling in English and Biology because of my poor English-language skills. I was new to the United States, and that made the transition difficult. However in math I was just being lazy and I did not want to put in the effort needed to get a decent grade.

Graduation is an exciting time in a person’s life, especially a high school graduation. When I think of family and friends gathering together to celebrate a joyous occasion, I feel I accomplished my strongest goal. It never occurred to me that graduation would be the end of my youth and the start of adulthood. Graduating from high school was an influential event that gave me an altered outlook on my existence. Life before graduation, preparing for graduation day, and commencement day overwhelmed me for reality.
I have learned so much in this class to prepare me for a successful college experience. There were some topics that caught my attention more than others. Such as, time and stress management, University resources, and critical thinking.
