Reasons to support gay marriage According to many people, the two homosexual pair up is not normal because it's against our circulation society. However, if we take a look closer, we could easily recognize that everyone has the right to pursue their happiness, and happiness is legitimate. The love which is created base on the truth and honesty between two people is not a hard question to answer whether gay marriage have equitable or not. With that being said, there is nothing wrong with gay marriage. That is why we should totally support gay marriage. True love crosses the gender barrier. Whether you are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or straight, love is still love.

Karslake which was released in 2007. This movie is about homosexual people who were born and grew up in a Christian family, those have the thought to say being gay is a sin. Karslake introduced five families, each dealing with a gay or lesbian son or daughter. The most touching story, and the best-known, is that of Jake, whose parents are totally become activists to stand by their son and to even deliver a letter of protest to the leader of Focus on the Family, a fundamentalist Christian group in Colorado. The stigma of the community is not only makes the lives of homosexuals become difficulty, but it can also affect non-homosexuals and society in general. Most homosexual are often retarded, stubborn, many of them regularly commit suicide. In addition, due to the fear of social discrimination, many gay men have been married to women and had children. Yet, they are not happy and hurt their wives. Also, because they are not socially recognized, homosexuals often hide themselves. This increases the probability of HIV infection in the community. Karslake has made a hard-hitting documentary that will blow many mind and heart about LGBT. Besides, the movie also spreads a meaningful thought is that Homosexuality is due to genetic inheritance. And that is why homosexuals cannot change their sexual orientation. Gay Marriage: Our Mutual Joy, the article was written by Lisa Miller and published on Newsweek cover story, is another example of literature gay marriage supporting. Miller gave many of her personal opinions without any legitimate statement or source like “...while the Bible and Jesus say many important things about love and family, neither explicitly define marriage as between one man and one woman...” or “the bible doesn't give abundant examples of traditional marriage.” She gave a lot of quotes from the Bible to demonstrate her belief that scripture says nothing against gay marriage. Miller and
Marriage between homosexual couples is just as normal as any other marriage. They may share a home, raise children, have careers, and go on vacation just like any other family might do. Two men being married is not harmful to society and it does not affect the lives of those surrounding them. People can
Same sex or gay marriage is a topic that is always in the news these days. Well, a recent Supreme Court case's decision was to legalize this type of marriage here in the US. To me, love is love, everyone has right to marry the one they love, either gay or not. Lesbian, Bisexual, Gay and Transgender, they are also a human; still have feelings
That is all there is to it. They obviously have different opinions, likes, and beliefs which must be respected and accepted by everyone. Also, it is wrong to discriminate against someone just because of who they choose to marry. Famous rapper, Macklemore, states that “Gay rights are human rights. There is no separation.” (Macklemore, 2014, 3). Everybody should agree with this because he is absolutely correct. Whether you are Catholic or Mormon, black or white, straight or gay, everyone has the same rights. The government can only control so much of someone’s life, but it comes to a point where it is the individuals decision, not the governments. Gay and straight couples are no different. They all started as a single person and ended up falling in love with someone, whether it was a man or a woman. Willie Nelson said, “I’ve known straight and gay people all my life. I can’t tell the difference. People are people where I come from.” (Nelson, 2014, 2). Everyone deserves to shape and form their life in the way that they choose. The gay community is not doing anything wrong, in reality, it is the people who are against them and their marriage rights that are causing all the
The United States is currently embroiled in a battle over issues regarding civil rights of its citizens and what rights are constituted by that term. In the past, civil rights issues have been fought over women's rights and those of African Americans among others all in the name of seeking equality. Perhaps the most vocal group discussing civil rights in the United States at present are gay marriage activists who are fighting for same-sex couples to be able to marry. These individuals feel that marriage is a civil right and that there is no legal reason why people of the same gender cannot be legally married in the United States, a perspective which is shared by many people who are themselves not homosexual. Homosexuality and what rights should be afforded to same-sex couples have been in the forefront of politics for the last few years and rightly so. Before this period, gay people had to fight to get recognized and for their relationships to even be legal. For most of American history, homosexuals have had to hide their sexual orientation or fear ostracism and marginalization by the moral and social majority. This oppression is still seen in the legislation of the United States. Those who do not agree almost always use their religious beliefs as a reason for denying homosexuals this right despite the fact that the United States Constitution bans legislation being based upon religious perspectives. There simply is no reasonable argument against same-sex
John and Massey have been a couple since college. As growing up into being a couple things got serious between them they was starting to fall for each other more to a higher expectation stage. John and Massey started going out on dates every weekend, buying each other things and started living together having their own space to become close as lovers and not friends. As days arriving by John decided to propose to Massey even though he felt weird about it because they was gay. Gay marriage is also referred to as same sex marriage. Same sex relationships occur when men and women are attracted to someone of the same gender as themselves. According to many opponents, gay marriages can be described as more of the abandonment of gender distinctions; because one cannot have same sex marriage while still believing that gender is relevant. For that reason, same genders getting married denies the obvious purpose of marriage between a man and woman, which is procreation. This research will analyze the arguments for and against gay marriages and the religious view of same sex marriages.
Lindsy and Beth, lesbian couple, have been living together for eleven years. Lindsy conceived two children from a sperm donor. Together, Lindsy and Beth turned their house into a loving home for their two children. One day, on the way home from the grocery store, Lindsy was killed in a tragic car accident. Before Beth could even grasp the situation, the children that she helped raise from birth had been taken away and placed into the care of Lindsy 's parents, who never were a part of their lives because they did not accept Lindsy 's homosexuality. In addition, the house that Beth and Lindsy lived in for eleven years was taken away from Beth. How did this happen to Beth?
According to ProCon.org (n.d) the world's first gay marriage was held on April 1, 2001. Why would anybody not want someone to be happy. Gays should not care what anyone has to think because it is not their body or their choice. It's the person that's gays choice. According to Pewforum.org (n.d)in 2001 americans opposed same sex marriage 57% to 35%, but by 2016 55% of americans supported same sex marriage comared to the 37% that opposed it. Gay people need more rights because gays should have access to the same rights as straights do, legalizing gay marriage will not harm the institution of marriage, and same sex marriage is a right preserved by the constitution.
Love is a human right that every individual should be able to experiment in their own way. Same-sex couples should have the right to get married because they have civil rights like all other citizens. The world should not disregard them from society, but unfortunately that is the way it is. All states should legalize gay marriage to show that the country is prepared to accept all kinds of people without discrimination.
I truly believe that gay marriage is a right and you should be able to love whoever you want. Nobody should be able to stop you from getting married and living life the way it was meant to be lived. I am on this side for many reasons. First, I feel very strongly about anti-discrimination and think that not allowing someone to marry the person they love is just horrible. Also, not allowing people to marry could cause an unpeaceful environment and I think that we should all be at peace with the people around us. Third, for most homosexual people they are born that way and there is no way they can love anybody else unless it is there same sex, so we are denying the right for people to be themselves and live a happy life the way they were born. Finally, a quote from is “People should be allowed to marry, and gay marriage should be out there. If a man or a women has a good partner and they love each other with their heart and soul let them

A happy lesbian couple just came out of the courtroom, fresh from getting married, walking out the doors holding hands. Then comes a lady. When the lady sees them she rolls her eyes and looks at them in disgust. “Are you serious, that’s ungraceful!” angrily yelled the lady. The couple looked at her in shock and a man across from them came out and said, “Excuse me lady their relationship is their business and you have no rights to tell them what they can and cannot do with their love life.” This is only an example but the actual situation occurs, in and out of America. 50% of regular marriages fail and result in a divorce. Gay marriage should be legal because of these three reasons. Number one reason is that love is love. Another reason is because over the years, traditional marriage has changed. And last but not the least by getting married you get health insurance benefits.
What is the definition of marriage? The dictionary states it as being the legal union between a man and a woman as husband and wife. However, times are changing as the gay life style becomes more accepted by society it is time to allow all couples regardless of sex to enjoy equal protections, rights and benefits under the law. Perhaps, it makes the most sense to consider arguments against same sex marriage to realize why it should be legalized; these arguments touch upon a broad array of issues including: parenting, religion and morality, procreation, rights and benefits, and values and institute of marriage.
“I think the best day will be when we no longer talk about being gay or straight… It’s not a gay wedding, it’s just a wedding… it’s not a gay marriage it’s just a marriage.”(Pink). Gay marriage is a right that should be open to anyone in any state. The constitution does not state that same-sex marriage is unethical. Many people see gay marriage as something that is unlawful when in reality gay marriage just the same as opposite-sex marriage. Same-sex couples should be able to be married because they deserve equal rights, and they are also great parents and legalizing gay marriage would help reduce gay teen suicide.
