Wednesday, September 2, 2015 was our first SWK 305 class day. In order to break the ice between all of the students in class Professor Lori Spector had everyone go around introducing themselves, we had to say our names and a adjective describing us using the first letter of our name, I am Radiant Rose. I thought this icebreaker was creative because at the end of the class even if I haven’t remembered the persons name I did remember the adjective they used. The next activity was to get familiar with someone in your group and introduce him or her to the rest of the class. Being that my group was composed of a trio I assume we had a different experience than those who had a pair. This exercise helped me create connections with some of my peers,
When in the classroom learning is something that is like a seesaw. The ups and downs come with some classes more than others. The classes that I have found my most ups and downs are English, math, and science. When learning you can not just keep failing by not seeking help. These are the most challenging classes stem from one of these subjects, but there is always a way to make it through with these three steps; finding the situation, assessing it, and seeking help.
In addition, there are concerns about how competitors and the U.S. Association of Seafood Processors and
To make sure that students get to know everyone, I will ask students at the beginning of activities to talk to at least three people that they don’t know. To also help with this I will ask students at activities to form a group

Week four five and six, I have enabled a substantial learning opportunity for the students in SUD 425. Being the 3 weeks in the middle of the quarter we have already gained the primary introductory knowledge of the course, and this can be considered the core of the class which utilized many learning styles to optimize each students learning experience.
HSC 3550 is one of the most important upper division classes for the students of Health Science major. I learned a lot from this class like legal and ethical issues that come along with U.S health system. I was totally unaware of the many facts of our health system and now I have enough knowledge to talk about. I have started reading online news and blogs about our health system and its legal and ethical matters. Two-class presentation was very helpful as well, that helped me to master at least those two chapters for sure. Some of the instructions or I can say our prompts were very complicated and nuanced for our individual paper, it was hard to understand and no proper instructions were given from where to begin. Journals totally messed
We had a very nice conversation about how fat things are going during this term. Don't forget to apply for graduation. You can apply for it through your Salukinet account. Let me know if have any problem when applying for graduation.
Similar to performance activity eight, I greeted Ms. Boerema’s students when they walked into the classroom.
Before my ENC1101 class I had no idea how to write college leveled essays. I felt like a lost puppy wondering in the woods. In the start of this class I felt stressed out because I wasn’t so sure if my writing was good enough. I spent days just trying to come up with the right ideas, but most of all I was afraid to fail the assignment. It felt like I was having writers block throughout all my essays. Even though there is a writing center in Valencia Community College and a SL tutor where I could’ve got help from I choose not to. I was afraid for someone to look at my essays and not like it or just tell me everything I did wrong. Which would have just brought me down. But in reality I have come to understand that feedback is a great way for improvement.
Before school started this year, I participated in the Common Ground program as a ground crew member. During the weeklong event, I had the opportunity to not only introduce the incoming freshmen to Fremont, but to each other as well. Each day consisted of various activities, led by myself, the other ground crew members, and the adult facilitators of the program. The activities included multiple small group discussions that were focused on breaking down stereotypes in order to make the Fremont community more tolerant, as well as games meant to allow for the freshmen to discuss issues such as gender, friendship, and ethnicity. My tasks varied from introducing students with common interests to each other to make sure everyone had someone to sit
On January 14th 2016 was the first day of Composition II in Mrs. Henry's class. At around 10 she assigned groups. The groups were made up of all the people that sat in the same row. The people in my group consisted of Alex Grey, Steve Abron and Tyler Baxter. Our main objective at this time was to get to know one another. So, the questions asked to one another were about their hobbies, achievements and goals.
From the class evaluation I found that my work has been produced to a high standard and that most of the work produced my peers were very different. I found that most of the class did something on the basis of fine art photograph and the majority of us shot in portraiture. I found that through my own work I have been very decisive with my idea and concept for the final photograph.
I am Mrs. Lowery, Chadwin’s 5th grade teacher; he was a good student in the 5th grade for me. He always had a smile on his face. He always wanted to do his best and be his best. I did not have any trouble out of him. He and his classmates are very special to me. His class is the only class I can say that I taught almost all of them. That year in 5th grade, we all learned a lot about being patient and change. I think it made all of us stronger and better people. I will always have a special place for each of them in my heart. I know he will do his best as he goes to college. I wish him all the best and want him to come back to see me.
The aspect of characterization is developed through this class division. This is shown in the character of Ah-Q who represents the class division of the time and how the upper class proceeded to act towards the lower class. An example of this is when Ah-Q believes he needs a woman and finds out that Mrs. Wu had been recently widowed. He acts in a manner which is impolite and Mrs. Wu being a servant to Mr. Zhao goes to him for help against Ah-Q. After this Ah-Q is treated like trash by the Zhaos’ due to this and other complications. Ah-Q is made to repent by completing 5 actions. “1. To take a pair of red candles – a pound each – and a packet of incense to the Zhaos’ [the next day], as an apology. / 2. To cover the costs of the Daoist priest
My greatest goal for this session is to set the tone for a good year by promoting a light hearted yet serious group dynamic. It is important to me that I emphasize to the freshmen that the guru group sessions are a place free of judgement where anything can be talked about. There are a few ways that I plan on accomplishing these goals. One of them is that I will be sure to ask them about their towns and hobbies before we begin icebreakers, so that I can match more personality traits and characteristics with them as we go through the icebreakers. Also, I will be sure to spend a few minutes reiterating the five rules on page three, to ensure that everyone will be comfortable talking about whatever they would like to talk
