Syracuse’s values are very similar to mine. I want to learn in the best school that I can and Syracuse is one of the best schools in the nation. The attention to the student that Syracuse give is also that I also value. I know that being at Syracuse will open doors and opportunities for me and my future.
The loving sympathetic staff and students is the main reason I chose Auburn University, because I believe I have the best chance to succeed here than any other school in Alabama. Since this has been my dream school, i will fight my best to succeed in any way I can whether it be academically or
I know that going to Oregon Institute of Technology will open many opportunities for me and will lead me to achieving my goals. It’s not only the best choice for me educationally wise but it's a place that I can see myself calling a home. I have confidence that this school has what I need to help me become a successful dental hygienist. The Oregon Institute of Technology Dental Hygiene program is one of the best in the state and I know it'll make me into a great dental hygienist one day. Not only that but the campus is beautiful and I can see myself being happy there. I know I will meet great new people and it'll give me the best college experience I can get. I'll admit that at first Oregon institute of Technology was not a school I had really
I chose to attend LaGuardia Community College because this school was recommended by family members who had attended this college. Many people had told me that I would receive a lot of help with academic advising and other resources. At first, I was hesitant of coming to LaGuardia Community College, but I am happy with my decision. I think I have made the most out of my time at LaGuardia Community College. I have managed to keep my grades up and am a part of Phi Thetta Kappa Honor Society and on the Dean's List for Academic Achievement.
My initial interest was through the academic program, but what peaked provocation is the mission statement. I admire that an apparent goal is to learn from each other as community members and also from industry leaders. I think it is important to learn from each other, as your peers are sometimes the people you learn the most from. Additionally, I was pleased that students learn from people actively in their field of study. My favorite part of the mission statement is that students work to break the boundaries on real world issues. Many of the classes and activities I have been apart of in high school touch on this part of the mission statement; I think it is the most important part. There is no point in being educated if it is not to better the world in a positive way and I appreciate that at Syracuse that journey, to relate and impact the real world begins as a student. Overall I am eager to apply to Syracuse to embrace the opportunities it provides and to be apart of a network of brilliant people, through athletics, internships, classes, and social
I am interested in the College of Wooster because I am interested in attending a college that can give me a solid liberal arts education. The College of Wooster can make me a strong, independent person with its programs. I am a active musician , and also have an interest into getting into medicine, and i believe that the college of wooster can provide me with a very valuable education. I value the College of Wooster's diversity, and also believe that the college of wooster can give me skills very valuable to employers .The College of Wooster has a sense of community, which is very valuable in an educational environment. I have spent a great deal of time researching the college that would fit my lifestyle and able to offer tailored programs to fit me. Finally, I decided on Empire State College (ESC), the reason being, ESC’s capability to work in the capacity that I am seeking. The fact that ESC also has a great Military/Veteran program is an enormous plus, and something that I require in a college. Another feature that drove my decision to apply is I will have the opportunity to gain credits from my life experiences. This is a remarkable feature. I have always held the belief that the experience one gains in their career is just as, and at times more, valuable as what one receives in a classroom.
Imagine not being able to go to school and learn how to read and write. America's gift to my generation is the educational opportunities we have. We are lucky to have schools and colleges where we can get an education. Educations are important for life. Without education , we couldn't get jobs and make it in the world.
One reason I am going to St. Cloud State is because of the wrestling program. I am very passionate about wrestling and it started back in 4th grade. Wrestling came to me in three categories. At first I just joined because my friends were in it. The second phase was just me wanting to win all the time, and it made me kind of forget what the sport really means. I think of wrestling now as a gift to me and I have learned to love the sport more than just wanting to win. Once I learned to simply enjoy the sport and learn from the ups and downs, it taught me how life will be. My coach, Jamie Heidt, always says that when we leave this program, he wanted to install the mindset of trying your best no matter what it is. Whether that is fighting for a job, fighting for your family, or fighting to win a match, you never give up on something you love.
In all fifty states of America, it is probably hard for some students to pick which college to go to. Some would go Midwest, down south or all way to the west coast, but I believe that my state university will give me the best education. Only forty-five minutes away from home, Rutgers can offer me the greatest learning facilities, several of challenging classes and be part of a diverse community where I can achieve my personal enrichment and career goals.
A Rutgers education will have a huge impact on me.It will open large opportunity to find a better job then my parent currently has.At the time, our family was undergoing a stressful moment in our lives. My father was recovering from a surgery that left him unable to return to his construction position, and my mother, a cleaning lady, working extra shifts to cover our regular and medical expenses. As a student at Rutgers University, it will open a new chapter in my life.I will meet new people from New Jersey, outside New Jersey and meet people from foreign countries.Have a better understanding of life and be responsible for my action.
The demographics of the campus with its vast diversity would allow me to learn about new cultures and immerse myself in a new environment. I would also be able to bring my own unique perspective that could enrich the campus and help me converse with my peers. I have always been involved in clubs and my enrollment at New York University would continue with my involvement in theses activities such as joining the school newspaper, the debate team, and numerous other clubs. The campus proximity to New York City would allow for many internships opportunities in English or Law and provides me with numerous opportunities to explore different cultures and gain new perspectives of the world. New York University has all the qualities that I look for in a college and it would be an honor to continue my education at such an established
After my laborious search, I concluded that UGA was the best fit based on the core values explained in the statement. Right off the bat, the word citizenship jumped out at me. Whether it be community service, sports, or clubs, to me, being truly involved in the community is paramount. While taking part in these activities, I am able to prove myself as a leader and a role model in society. For instance, I am a mentor for twelve freshman students, helping them through the huge transition from middle school to high school. In doing this, I am able to set a good example and show my school spirit. With these experiences and my passion and enthusiasm for a positive influence, I plan to make the already great UGA community even better through citizenship. In addition to citizenship, another quality displayed in the admission statement that stood out to me was the notion of culture. In my mind, a true understanding comes from more than just books, but through experience. Coming from a family from diverse parts of the world including India and Scotland, I have been lucky enough to see other cultures’ customs and traditions first-hand. Additionally, I have traveled to seven different countries, which has allowed me to interact with people from diverse cultures and even work on my foreign language study. Through these cultural exposures, I have been provided with a new perspective on life, understanding others better and respecting others despite differences. Overall, although I can relate to all the aspects of the statement, citizenship and culture are my strongest assets dealing with my value to
this is really important to me as I have watched countless disasters, such as the intense series of hurricanes and the wildfires Northern California. While I have been doing my best to help deal with these disasters through organizing a relief fundraiser for Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria at my school, I believe that the quality of Tulane’s education will arm me to make more impactful changes in the world.
I will always have a lifelong passion for Seneca High School. During my years as a student at Seneca, I received a high class education that I soon realized after entering college I was very fortunate to have had. Now as I am a teaching candidate myself, returning to the school that I received that great education from, and being able to provide that for future students at SHS is something that I would love to be a part of. I am encouraged by the atmosphere that our school has to keep striving to improve and create student growth. Seneca High School played such a big part in my life, and I would be so excited to have the opportunity for it to continue to be a place where I can learn and grow myself as an educator.
