The world today is filled with all different type of smart phones and tablets. Technology is developing fast and we don’t know where this will leave web designers and developers and how will they proceed in the future. As attached to our phones we are its hard to imagine how young the technology of smartphones really are. In 1908 the first apparent wireless device came when Prof. Albert Jahnke and the Oakland Transcontinental Aerial Telephone and Power Company believed they had industrialized a wireless telephone. Sadly they were accused of fraud. Later the charge was dropped and production of the device never proceeded. In 1918, German railroad systems started to test their own wireless phones on their military trains. Trials began in 1924 and a year later Zugtelephonie A.G. was established to supply train telephony equipment with the first telephone systems being accepted for use in postal and other trains by 1926. On June 17, 1946 the first truly mobile phone service appeared on June 17, 1946 under Bell Labs, which industrialized mobile phones that endorsed users to place and receive phone calls from their automobiles. Martin Cooper, a research executive at Motorola to Joel S Engel of Bell Labs, made the first mobile phone calls from a handheld device on April 3, 1973. That first handheld phone, 1G (First genereation), was 10 inches long and weighed about 2.5 pounds. The prototype presented 30 minutes of talk time on a single charge and took 10 hours to recharge.
