Luckily, there are ways to prevent these events from taking place, and to end global warming from continuing down this path of destruction.

The societal view that everyone should have a car and you are viewed lesser if you don’t is a remote cause. Issues that blend into global warming would be the political and economic issues such as the recent political race between presidents where global warming was given more light. Immediate effects that are being seen are the ice melting in polar-regions, and the increased flooding in regions. Long term effects are the decline in animal populations and the increase of ocean water temperatures. The Earth’s population needs to look at the causes of this dangerous thing, and began taking action. There are many causes to this disaster, but I am going to focus on how burning fossil fuels have impacted the environment.
