The holocaust was established by hitler to execute even more jews. About 6 million jews lost their lives during the holocaust. German authorities targeted groups that had a different racial inferiority. During world war II the germans went by the “final solution” a policy to murder all jews. The holocaust was a big shock for the jews. This dramatic experience still haunt the streets of germany.

Mass genocides have haunted the world in history; millions of innocent lives have been taken due to selfish acts of tyrant governments. During the mid-twentieth century Europe faced a massive genocide that preyed on certain demographics. Adolf Hitler, the leader of Nazi Germany, was the sole mastermind that created the environment of racism, sexism, and the fear of certain religions and lifestyles, which was the underlined reason for the genocide we now know as the Holocaust.

Hitler in full power created laws, one of his laws was on how Jewish people citizenship and prohibiting marriage or sexual relations with people of "German or related blood”. Thus, started the concentration camp movement, Jews, Communists, Gypsies, homosexuals and others were sent to the camps. Hitler was known as a “monster” for his masterplan to eliminating the Jews. He ended over 11 million lives for no reason what so ever, just for what he believed. With such twisted morals, Hitler and his Nazis persecuted based off religions, cultures and beliefs. The holocaust was an insight for him as the “Final Solution” for his own benefit on what he believed in and his hatred towards Jews and others.

The Holocaust systematically murdered 11 million people across Europe, more than half of those people were Jewish. The Jews were blamed for the German’s failures, such as World War I. As a result, Hitler established anti-Semitism throughout his army and the majority of Europe. The Holocaust consisted of three phases to annihilate the Jews. The phases did not create racial purity and they did not successfully annihilate all of the Jews as the Nazi party planned.

Hitler had shown unwillingness to tolerate the Jews and once he was appointed Chancellor, he started to take elimination measures like deportation, forced emigration, and isolation to enforce his belief. He took advantage of Germany’s weakness in World War One, then used it as an opportunity to blame the Jews for Germany’s defeat. Hitler’s political party was the largest political party in Germany thus allowing them to draw very large crowds to gatherings. He had very good oratory speeches with hand gestures that easily manipulated people to adhere to his views. Hitler constantly targeted the Jews because he knew people believed in these speeches. People in Germany were already anti-semitic but Hitler made it worse by constantly consuming them in his speeches. From the way he spoke about the Jews, we could clearly see the possibility of genocide. Hitler wanted Germany to be free of any humans that anyone other than his ideal master race so he personally selected bodyguards to be part of a group called the SS. Hitler was responsible for ordering the SS to carry out the extermination of anyone who did not fit this ideal. The SS handled oppositions using force and as a result of which people were forced to give into the idea of violence. Once Hitler had finally reached power he set out to complete one goal, create a Greater Germany free from the Jews (“The reasons for the Holocaust,” 2009). This tragedy is known today as, “The Holocaust,” that explains the terrors of our histories past. The face of the Holocaust, master of death, and leader of Germany; Adolf Hitler the most deceitful, powerful, well spoken, and intelligent person that acted as the key to this mass murder. According to a research study at the University of South Florida, nearly eleven million people were targeted and killed. This disaster is a genocide that was meant to ethnically cleanse Germany of the Jews. Although Jewish people were the main target they were not the only ones targeted; gypsies, African Americans, homosexuals, socialists, political enemies, communists, and the mentally disabled were killed (Simpson, 2012, p. 113). The word to describe this hatred for Jewish people is known as antisemitism. It was brought about when German philosophers denounced that “Jewish spirit is alien to Germandom” (“Antisemitism”) which states that a Jew is non-German. After WW2, there was a thing called the holocaust. There were many concentration camps all over Germany where many Jews were killed in different ways. It happened between WW1 and WW2, 1933-1945. My position on why this happened is that Germany was going through a rough time, so Hitler wanted their country to resemble power. The Holocaust was one of, if not the worst mass murder in history. The Nazis did one of the most horrifying things you could think of, killing so many innocent people. Many different groups of people other than jews were also victims of this tragic event. Some of those other groups were: LGBTQ individuals, the physically and mentally disabled, slavs, and members of opposing political groups. These groups of people were ripped from their homes and put into concentration camps. The Nazis would either separate them from their family or they would keep them together and they would have to watch the Nazis torture their family and friends. The holocaust was a time of pure darkness. The German Nazi’s thought their race would be better off without Jews and so they decided to kill them off. The Nazi’s were a group who was under Adolf Hitler’s control and had the power to kill Jews. The Nazi’s were basically Hitler’s soldiers. Adolf Hitler was the current Chancellor of Germany during that time. The Nazi’s however did not only target Jews which accounted for nine million of Europe’s population alone, but also homosexual’s, Jehovah’s witnesses, Gypsies, disabled individuals, Poles, Soviet prisoners of war, communists and socialists. The holocaust plays a role in the start of World War II. During the war, the Nazi’s managed to wipe out hundreds of Jewish communities and ended up killing around six million people total. They used to make Jews wear a badge on their clothes when going anywhere to show everyone they were Jewish. It used to be a law for Jews to wear such garments up until the nineteenth century and if they failed to do so, there was severe punishment. This is how Nazi’s chose whom to persecute.

What causes conflict? Well, conflict is caused when there is a disagreement or miscommunication. The Holocaust was a huge and bloody disagreement that led to World War II and was a horrific event that took place in the 1930-1940’s. A man that we’ve probably all heard of, named Adolf Hitler, came into power and participated in the slaughter of nearly 6 million jews, 250,000 disabled, and 196,000-220,000 Gypsies (according to the National Holocaust Memorial Museum website). These deaths were all over the European continent that were under German rule. My position on the main cause for the Holocaust was that the end of World War I left Germany in poverty. With the government in corruption, the people were desperate for change, so they allowed Hitler into power with the belief that others could control him if he did something bad. This obviously wasn’t true.

The Holocaust, the killing of ;Jews, homosexuals, other races, and prisoners of war had horrible conditions that people went through, and how much hatred one person could have. The Holocaust was the mass murder of more than 6 million Jews, the Nazis killed more 11 Million people. One thing that I learned is that Hitler thought the Jews were the ones who caused World War I. He thought that if he killed people who he thought caused World War I, there would be more money to go around Europe.

World War 2 was fought between the Axis Powers (Germany, Italy, Japan) and the Allied Powers (Britain, United States, Soviet Union, France). Most of the countries in the world were involved in some way. It was the deadliest war in all of human history with around 70 million people killed. World War 2 started in 1939 when Germany invaded Poland. Great Britain and France responded by declaring war on Germany. The war in Europe ended with Germany 's surrender on May 7, 1945. The war in the Pacific ended when Japan surrendered on September 2, 1945. But how was the Holocaust aloud to happen?

During the Holocaust millions of innocent people lost their lives. Adolf Hitler, the President of Germany at the time, was responsible for killing all of these people. Hitler blamed the Jews for the economic problems Germany was having at the time due to paying debt from World War I and he sent them to concentration and death camps. When the Germans lost the First World War, Hitler blamed it on the Jews.

Over six million Jews and five million others Adolf Hitler deemed “undesirable” were killed during the Holocaust. Ordinary people were doing unthinkably cruel things to other human beings while the rest of the world turned a blind eye. To understand how the Holocaust reached the extent it had and why so many people were unjustly murdered, we have to look at the psychology behind the Holocaust.
