The split between the Indy Racing League and Champ Car was considered a tough and bittersweet “pill” to swallow. The split seems to revolve around a directional disagreement which strayed away from the original vision of the IndyCar Company. Throughout my research, I have found no true definition if the split was completely unsuccessful, but the evidence would definitely suggest this idea. Additionally, when the split occurred, a rift was created among the many supporting fans and the once committed corporate sponsorships (Ferrell & Hartline, 2014). The split did come at a time of strong competition and a declining economy. However, I did discover that during those times of hardship (IRL & CART) focused on specific marketing plans that

The novel The Art of Racing in the Rain, by Garth Stein, is both an emotional and an intelligent read portrayed through the author’s use of flashback, humor, and intellect. Through these, the author tells a meaningful story about life and death and the importance of both.
As the rain of hardship and pain floods the souls of one family, the silent but all-seeing pet dog learns to stand by his family and ultimately learn, throughout his life, the art of racing in the rain. Within Stein’s The Art of Racing in the Rain, the story is told from the perspective of the common household dog, Enzo. This unparalleled perspective displays the trust that many people place upon a dog’s shoulders, but Enzo’s point of view also shows how beautifully bonded Denny, Eve, Zoe and Enzo are through the trials of life and death. While Enzo cannot speak, he thoughtfully forms ideas about what he would say if he were a human; nevertheless, Enzo’s inability to speak makes him wise beyond his dog years, for as humans, we tend to speak what is on our mind before considering the impact that it will leave upon
NASCAR is one of the most rapidly growing sports in the world. There are people who think that NASCAR is just a bunch of hicks going around in circles, but it takes skill to drive at two-hundred miles per hour. I am going to talk about the history of NASCAR, early drivers of NASCAR, the three NASCAR divisions, the rules, and the new technology.
I always wondered if a person ever espoused a sport, store, or a plan to give a statement of comparison. For example, one might consider Wal-Mart as an enhanced service and food than Food City. A person in life will always have opinions in one’s mind. When having an opinion, one can compare or contrast to make any opinion understandable. In my opinion, Nascar is more electrifying than Drag racing because, Nascar has more than two cars, has an additional amount of thrill, it lasts longer, and Nascar has more entertainment than Drag racing.
The nascar body frame has become so much stronger. The frame has gone through so many changes. It has went from the stock frame of a car right off the assembly line to a full custom frame. Stronger frames can also protect the driver in any type of wreck. If the car happens to take a head on crash the frame will bend but the parts around the driver will not. Without the frame the driver would be killed in a wreck.
The year 2008 was a dreadful year for corporations as it brought profit losses for their business. Corporations would rather forget this dark time in history plus trust past events do not repeat themselves. During 2008 companies were struggling to stay in the industry. NASCAR, Chevrolet, and Chrysler among others firms could not have prevented what was occurring in the USA economy (Ferrell & Hartline, 2014). There was nothing that could have altered the 2008 recession. However, the NASCAR’s overall co- branding strategy dealing with the marketing affairs seems to be a sound plan, but they lacked diversification in its sponsorship portfolio.
Ralph Dale Earnhardt, better known as Dale Earnhardt, was born to Martha Coleman and Ralph Earnhardt on April 29, 1951. Ralph did not want to race like he did, but Dale ignored him anyway and dropped out of high school to race. Ralph was very hard on Dale and when Ralph died of a heart attack in 1973 it took a long time for Dale to believe that he had proven himself to his dad. Dale had four siblings two sisters, Cathy and Kaye, and two brothers Dandy and Randy.
I read The Art of Racing in The Rain by Garth Stein. It was written in a dog's point of view and because of that, I am more appreciative of being human. Enzo made me realize the struggles of not being able to communicate and being physically restricted. I can’t imagine what it would be like not being able to say what you need or knowing important information but you can’t say anything about it. Enzo faced these troubles when he knew something was wrong with Eve, but he couldn’t do anything about it.
Do people have to die for things to be changed? In NASCAR they are always looking at safety and standards that are always changing. NASCAR stands for the National Association for Stock Car Racing. NASCAR has been a big part of my life since I was a child. When I was young not only did I watch the races on TV with my family, I would be at the track every week with my racing family, watching at a NASCAR sanctioned track. Racing had become a drastic part of my life at an early age because my mother had passed away. My father wanted to bring the family together at least once a week and do something together. Not only did my family watch racing in TV or on the track we raced ourselves my brother, sister and I raced while my father worked on

Throughout the last two weeks, I have been reading Garth Stein’s The Art of Racing in the Rain. The Art of Racing in the Rain is 336 pages and I finished the book. This book was written from a dog-named Enzo’s point of view. The dogs owner, Denny, was an amateur racecar driver, a dad, and a husband. His wife eventually died from cancer, so all he had left was his dog and daughter. Denny’s daughter, Zoe stayed with her grandparents and mom while she was dying, so Denny could continue to work and his wife could be with her parents. After his wife’s death the grandparents thought it would be best if Zoe stayed with them because Denny was very sad and they didn’t think he was capable of caring for a child. Denny was not happy with that at all
The internal split was unsuccessful when the organization was forced to segment into more than one total market. Some differential Markets results in unsuccessful. The internal split of the Indy Racing League and Champ Car (CART) divided the market into individuals groups with different interest. The money being split father caused issues with drivers, partner and sponsors. The IRL did not have a title sponsor seven years. Eventually fans lost interest in IRL after the split and the organization lost twenty-five percent of their viewers (Ferrell & Hartline, 2014). The split of the Indy Racing League and Champ Car (CART) resulted in both sides losing. Each side went in a different directions which resulted in each side just have 50% of the fans,
The advertising factor of our penetration strategy will come from the development of our Grand Challenge logo. By creating a logo it will give the Grand Challenge program an easily recognized visual that allows for potential funders and participants to be exposed to the GC brand. By placing this image on all company materials, marketing collateral, Grand Challenge websites or emails, you give outsiders constant exposure to the brand (Kokemuller). This will allow Grand Challenge executives to place this logo on marketing materials and informational products as a stand-alone representation that is more appealing and much more memorable.
So for years now, the car industry has been evolving. While it is getting bigger and bigger, it is also branching off to many other sub-industries. Among those industries, one of the most popular is the racing one. It has been evolving since it has started. And to say that it is very popular in this generation would be a huge understatement. Even while it is an industry of its own (Racing industry), it still has many different branches. For instance, when we talk about racing, we can have an endless discussion about how many different kinds there are. On the legal side of racing, we have organized activities such as NASCAR racing events, but if we want to talk about illegal racing ways, we can talk about street racing or drag racing on local streets. This however, will be discussed in the main part of this paper. So before getting into the meat of this paper – which is the driving question (“Why is racing important in the car industry?”) – We need to answer why talking about his is important to know about. So, why is this topic crucial to know about? Well for starters, racing has become one of the most popular activates that most teenage boys and professionals partake in. other than that, racing brings one of the biggest revenues economically to the table. Now this means better improvements in the car industry as a whole. While we are talking about improvements to the car industry, we can certainly talk about how sport and
