Our customers are the fast food restaurants, school cafeterias, hotel restaurants and grocery shopping centers.

The Castle’s Family Restaurant has been a successful business, which has expanded to eight different locations with hopes of expanding more in the future. Although the company has been successful thus far, they are feeling the weight of the expansion in their Human Resources (HR) Department. Currently, the operations manager, Jay Morgan, is also acting as the sole HR manager. In order to perform his HR duties, Morgan is required to drive to each of the eight locations. With gas prices on the rise, Morgan would like to find a way to cut his travel time by working from his office.

The purpose of this paper is to help explain some of the qualities and knowledge that are needed to operate a successful restaurant business. After careful research, there were seven aspects that identified themselves as the most pertinent concepts in effectively achieving this process, although not limited. These notions were as followed; having a good chef, concept and location to make any restaurant astatically pleasing to the demographic of choice, with out these effects no restaurant can have a successful relevant menu or specialty. Also, the monetary aspects of owning a business and the mistakes that many have made, incorrect; purchasing procedure being an immense aspect of budgetary demise. Keeping the customer and employees in thought, as well as pleased, was also a concept that shined its importance to the execution of a business. This paper also highlights the importance of leadership and how to conduct ones self competently in a leadership position as well as the difference characteristics of a leader that set one person aside from another.

The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated is in the “Restaurant Industry.” It started in the 1940s in the home of Oscar and Evelyn Overton. The business was so successful that in 1971, they moved the cheesecake business to Los Angeles and named it “The Cheesecake Factory”. In 1978, their son David founded The Cheesecake Factory restaurant in Beverly Hills and 30 years later you can find their restaurant in towns and cities all over the United States with new businesses opening all the time.

When I run out of ideas of where to eat, it seems like I always find myself looking at websites of restaurants near me. A restaurants website needs to stand out and invite a potential customer.
