She knew that there were other options of becoming a mother. There were several options to choose from such as fostering or adopting. She thought very hard before she came to a final decision. She knew that if she became a foster parent, she wouldn’t be able to raise the children and would have to give them up eventually, after creating a special bond with them, but she knew that she would also be helping these kids. On the other hand, adopting would mean that she would be able to raise them until they are ready for college or move on their own. She wouldn’t be able to help the child like she could for foster children, but she would still be able to help her child no matter how little the problem may seem. Tracey had a huge smile on her face as she admits, “It didn’t take a lot of time to think about because I decided to let my heart choose.” This time Tracey didn’t have a plan instead she just let her maternal instincts lead her to the right path. 1. Based on the leadership assessment my dominant decision making style is empathy (south). As stated on the assessment some of the leadership strength I have are capabilities to understand how people need to receive information in order to act upon it, integrate others input to determine direction of what is happening, focus on present moment, and receptive of other ideas. Some weaknesses are inability to internalize difficulties and assumes blames, have difficulties with anger and manipulated by anger, and may lose focus of goals if relationships or needs of people are being compromised. My plan to strengthen my leadership style is by learning how to control my anger better if something frustrates me by taking a few minutes to myself. Most

Decision making can be described as a process of making a decision or decisions, based on choices made amongst two or more competing course of actions. The ‘Decision making’ also requires making a define choice between two or more alternatives course of actions that are available.
Inadequate information, data, and knowledge. For rational decision-making to be accurate, reliable, and complete, information about various aspects of the problem under investigation is necessary. Possible future trends can be estimated with the help of such information. This facilitates rational decision-making. However, adequate and reliable information may not be available at the time of decision-making. As a result, the decisions may become defective or irrational or may prove faulty in the course of time. This is how decisions become irrational.
Decision-making is very vital in the study of administration. Decision-making is the act of deciding the best choice or alternative that brings success or advantage to a situation that will ensure maximum benefits and least risk. Probability can be applied to decision-making in public administration because it is possible to estimate the probability of occurrence of specific events. A part of decision-making in relationship to public administration has to do with goals. The probability of you meeting those goals depends on decision-making. For example a restaurant owner has received more revenue on Thursdays than on any other day And less Revenue on Saturdays than any other day. The owner has looked at everything that could have influenced his sales. The owner realized that the only things that were different on Thursdays than any other day was the chief special and the drink special. According to the receipts of the last four Thursdays the probability that a customer orders a drink special is 60%. The probability that a customer orders the chief special is 50%. The probability of them ordering both is 42%. This shows the restaurant owner that Thursdays drink special should be considered on both Thursdays and Saturdays.
