There is a wide variety of exciting programs available for the creation of digital art. From desktop applications to mobile apps, Creative Cloud carries an assortment of digital art applications. Some programs focus on more specific mediums such as unique drawings, picture improvements, or website designs. Adobe Illustrator (Ai) is a digital drawing program, in Creative Cloud, that allows users to create drawings for personal or industrial use. For example, the Enterprise High School art class once used Adobe Illustrator to create t-shirt designs for a local competition. After all, graphic design studios worldwide use Adobe Illustrator to design and advertise companies and their products. Yet, some people enjoy simply using Ai to transform …show more content…
So, people have been creating digital art unknowingly for a rather long time. Other computer programs have been developed over the years, the main provider being Adobe Creative Cloud which contains both desktop and mobile applications. Although, Adobe Creative Cloud and Autodesk are more popular tools for digital art there are other applications unrelated to them just as exceptional. In addition, to the ever-changing world of technology, notebooks and sketchbooks have been made so someone can sketch in them, and then transfer the drawing into a digital art application with minimal effort. Prior to this, one would have to draw the picture straight on the device or go through a long grueling and exasperating process to transfer one drawing. For this reason, a company by the name of Moleskin created these sketchbooks and notebooks that are so incredibly, wonderful to use. Thus, broadening the horizon of possible ways to create digital art with the use of a smart phone, laptop, tablet, and now sketchbooks it can be created anywhere at any time.
The simplicity of digital art programs excites anyone with an imagination to create art endlessly. It has become the art of the future because it is a way to create art in a non-chaotic way. Although, creating DA is relatively simply there are still ways for someone to learn how to use the more complex programs. Digital art is now being taught in
When I began College at Colorado State University Pueblo with the intention to become a teacher I took a wide variety of art classes. From painting to ceramics to photography. I fell in love over and over and over again, and consider myself a jack of all trades. However I was drawn intensely into the world of Digital Art. There I felt I was able produce sharp, clean images that could easily be reprinted and sold again. I quickly
Fine Artists create original artwork using a variety of media combined with their own techniques.

Digital graphics are in their own way an art form, digitally constructed to create phenomenal images. However, you need to have some sort of artistic ability combined with a suitable computer system before you can design the perfect graphic.
Jaynes has requested a creative graphics tablet of her choice which was Wacom, this is because in the art and design part of her job she would rather use a mouse less. I have chosen this graphics tablet as it meets her needs.
WILKS, J. j., CUTCHER, A. l., & WILKS, S. s. (2012). Digital Technology in the Visual Arts
Early computer art stemmed from an unlikely place and as the computer technology advanced, minimized, and became affordable, the computer turned into the most important invention of the modern age and has been implemented in almost every aspect of human life. Like video art, computer art started small and progressed with the technology and now is a tool used for many digital mediums.
The artists are empowered with creativity and vision, who creates an extreme simplification of a complex thing. Owning such capabilities still not deliver a handsome income for survival. No one had visualize that they can fly like birds, a great artist Leonardo Da Vinci conceive the concept of an aeroplane, an armour vehicle and paddle-powered water vessel and portray it.
The thriving trend of Moleskine journals began years ago. Back then, it was just a pocket-sized object in black. The Moleskine notebooks are actually an inspiration and successor of the notebooks used by famous thinkers and artists over two centuries ago. Pablo Picasso, Vincent van Gogh, Bruce Chatwin and Ernest Hemmingway are to name a few. The object had no name but, it was a masterpiece on its own. The artistic and legendary people over centuries ago were the buyers. The notebook was their close companion, holding their stories, notes, ideas and sketches.
Often times a painting has the same structure as a design. The details can be similar for both Graphic Design and Fine Art. Paintings such as Son of Man by Magritte which has basics such as shadow, highlight, simple composition, and a dull color palette. A design for Apple Laptops was created of a decal of Son of Man. This design also had shadow, light, basic composition, and an achromatic color palette. The structure is the same, but one is created digitally and one is a painting. The processes can also be very similar. Many artists use technology in their artwork. They use Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, programs for designers and use it to create their artwork. Artists such as Jeff Koons who manipulates images on Photoshop, prints it and paints hyper realistic paintings from those images. The structure and process for art and design can be very similar.
In today’s society, technology and art go hand in hand. Art has been around for a long time but technology such as computers are still very new. These two mediums have comingled and now evolve and effect the other. Art has changed to reflect the vast improvements technology has contributed to communication and the ability to create using digital space. Technology has also changed with artist pushing the boundaries of what is technical possible in the digital realm. Much of today’s art is created and presented in digital formats. The question of whether digital art is truly art has risen among many critics in the art community.
The primary objective of this paper is to identify two of the various theories, practices, and technologies that are closely associated with the Digital Design specialization. This paper will describe each chosen theory, practice, and technology as well show the relation to how it will specifically impact digital design. It will go into depth about the theories Graphic Design and Gestalt Theory, the practices Works-Every-Time Layout and Thumbnail Sketches, and the technologies Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop.
Some of the new-generation graphic designers argue that hand-made work is not as effective nor trendy as a digital version of the work. However, traditional design has many advantages that digital design does not. Starting a design on a piece of paper helps the brain to be more productive, creating the new ideas out of the first one. As an illustration, a study was made regarding the topic, in which 10 people, including artist and non-artists were required to draw using only sheets of paper and 16 pastel pens, to research how drawing is an excellent therapy for creative expression that also showed how the brain rhythm changes in order to help the whole creative process. All participants were recruited via email and each one was scheduled for an individual session, they were supervised to easily measure the difference between the
Digital art is a general term for a range of works by the artists who use digital technologies as a major part of the processes of creation and representation (Paul, 2006). Specifically, digital technology refers to the application of computers as media and partners for the artists in creating art works. However, digital industry is often a vague term and does not clearly define the final form of the art work. In his book called Art of The Digital Age, Wands (2006) has classified digital art works based on their final tool to digital prints, sculpture, installations and virtual reality, performance, music and art of sounds, video and animation, software, databank, and the art of gaming. He says although many digital arts including digital picture
