There have been notable advancements in technology and media which shaped our twenty-first century.The global spread of technology creates extensive connections on a large scale which have helped in making new opportunities.Social media is a landmark of the modern technological advancement. It helped in spreading knowledge, culture, personal experiences, different views between people from different countries.Social Media has been used in all aspects of life such as the economy, health, politics and social sciences. Advocating for human rights, appeal to help people in need, sharing knowledge are good examples of the wise use of technology and social media.On the other side, human trafficking, terrorism, money laundering and pornography are some examples when some people abuse social media.With the heated political tension, social media have dominated in many occasions.
