Christopher Reeve once said, “A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.” In today’s society, what describes a hero is different to each person you ask. In my opinion, there are three different heroes today. There are the heroes you read about in books and watch in movies such as The Avengers and X-Men, and there are the everyday heroes such as doctors, police, and soldiers. There are also tragic heroes. Shakespeare is famous for his tragedies and tragic heroes in them. The traits that make a character a hero in today’s society is, someone who is brave and courageous, strong and fearless selfless, and always wanting to help someone else in need.
Today in modern society, heroes are shaped out to be a strong, huge, and attractive person. Most people think of heroes as the people with supernatural powers who wear the tight costumes with a cape or mask. In the movies with superheroes, the small, weak, and scrawny guy is not what one would expect as as the hero in the movie. In fact the small guy is the one who is normally saved by the hero. In the movies, society has shaped the heroes to be the big and strong person who comes and saves everyone in need. For example, in the movie X-Men, the heroes are the big, strong, and fearless people. Each one of the X-Men have a supernatural power that they use for good against evil to save the world.
However, there is another type of hero in today’s society as well. I
Hero’s come in many different perspectives. Some might view a hero as the fictional super heroes. Other’s consider hero’s to be modern day people. Some qualities of a hero are someone who is courageous, brave, and kind. A hero is a person who is admired for their courageous acts and achievements. They never give up even when times get hard. It’s more about the hero taking a stand for what they believe is right. Taking a stand counts more than winning.
The word “hero“ is a very short word with a very long meaning. The image that comes up when most people hear the word “hero“ is normally a man with a cape, tights, and a “S” in the middle of his chest, along with a chiseled jaw, muscular arms and body, and dreamy eyes. This image is often thought of when the word “hero” pops up in conversation, although you don’t have to have supernatural powers or fight against evil mad scientists to be considered as a hero.
A hero is someone who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. Today, hero’s still do exist. Most of the time whenever you hear the word “hero” you automatically think of a superhero which is okay, but those are not the only hero’s. People do not have to fight battles to be a hero, you can be one by helping someone out, being somebody a person looks up to, or simply someone who made a change for the world.
To me a hero is someone who is nice, kind, caring, open minded, confident, not afraid to help others and not a quitter.
To be a hero can can be defined in many ways. Heros are usually associated with courage, fearlessness, noble qualities, outstanding achievements, and a kind heart. These traits are what make up an ideal contributor to society helping those in need. The word hero can have a different meaning for cultures and religions. Osama Bin Laden may be considered a hero to the radical islams but he is a horrible human being to the rest of the world. It all depends on the views of the people.
According to the dictionary, a hero is “a man of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities.” I believe, however, that a hero is someone who exceeds expectations and does not stick to the status quo. Heroes will always try to do the right thing. They will put other people’s life above their own if they are given the chance to. This may include running into a fire to save someone, or helping a friend out if it is the right thing to do.
A hero in modern terms can be defined as someone who is admired or idealized for their courage, achievements, or qualities. In addition to these characteristics heroes are people with a skills, intelligence,
What is a hero? When I ask myself this, a few things come to mind. Police officer, firefighter, superman. But what is a hero really? Someone who is brave? Strong? Smart? Perhaps, but I believe there is more. To me, heroic traits are selflessness, courage, perseverance, patience and many other things. Like beauty, heroism isn't skin deep. It isn't the cape that makes the hero, its the purpose.
People can define heroism different ways depending on what they think it means, based on culture and the era. A hero is someone who has superhuman strength, confidence, craftiness. A hero is also someone who is a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. They are also brave, clever and willing to help others. Odysseus from The Odyssey can be represented as a hero.
What is a hero? A hero is someone that others admire or look up to for something they have done. Heroes have to have many different qualities to be able to do the things they do. A hero shows bravery. They will stand for the things they believe in, no matter if it may cause them harm. They protect those around them as well. A hero is courageous. They take risks. Heroes must be able to overcome anything that is thrown their way. They do not cower in the face of fear, they laugh at it. One of the most important traits a hero needs is to be fearless. The word fearless means to not be afraid of things that may seem dangerous or scary to others.
What is a hero? A hero can be defined as many things to military people, first responders or simply just casual civilians walking about the streets it all comes to one thing. Three traits i think hero's have are people that are willing to stand up for others natural born leaders and brave people.all of these make a great hero that can be hidden inside of everybody weather they know it or not they could be a hero just waiting to see something then spring into action and release hero traits truthfully everybody can be a hero.
Being a hero requires an individual to possess bravery, kindness, and selflessness. These characteristics are noble qualities people admire. Heros achieve incredible tasks that other people cannot imagine. Hero is a word that describes someone who is determined, strong, and courageous, and this word can also be used to describe Martin Luther King Jr.
Being a hero is when you’re selfless, brave, and humble. Heroes are the characters that learn the most and do the most affective actions. There is always going to be a hero in every story, movie, or real life scenario. A hero doesn’t have to be the one who saves someone’s life or fights off evil and is always wearing a cape. A hero can be as simple as someone doing the right thing not for themselves but for the good of someone else.
A hero is not always a person that can fly or that has superhuman powers. A hero is somebody that helps another person out in a time of need. This can be anything from being in a life or death situation, or just stepping in and helping when another person is getting bullied. A Hero can be anybody, young, old, man or woman. However, you do have to have some special characteristics that not everybody has. Heroes have to want to help, put others before themselves, be brave and courageous, and be a leader.
When people think of a hero that beats the villain, Superheros that pop up in someone's mind is Superman, Spiderman, and Captain America, but heroes always do not win every battle, every time.Heroes as people in today's world are different and sometimes unseen by the world. Though they might be a person at Burger king or taco bell that would rather work than be in a gang and sell drugs, but they might come home to a family that's been broken by things that have happened to their relationship as they got older. Even when a hero might not have a happy ending they just do not give up there,
