At the age of ten I was getting older and my mom wasn’t happy with the idea of how my room looked. I began to finally start cleaning my room. I started to sweep, dust, and organize everything once a week. Every week cleaning my room I would be so proud of myself thinking about everything I accomplished. As I grew up to me older I would still clean, but I found myself cleaning and by the next week when it was time to clean again I would have to clean everything I already cleaned because it was already a mess. Around the age of eleven my mom told me if I wanted a new room I would need to clean up my room. I wasn’t sure what she wanted me to do exactly when It came to cleaning, so I decided to every weekend sweep, dust, and organize anything that looked messy, or anything that was laying around. Slowly, the develop of organization began to start. My mom and older sister are very organized, so I learned organization from them. As I grew up to be twelve and thirteen I have never stopped my cleaning and organization of items to this day. Now I’m not sure exactly how I started to organize everything I just know that I was tired with the fact of how my room looked. To help me stay motivated to organize I would just tell myself I would have to do it, so I turn on music and start cleaning. I normally always organize differently because I like to change things up. Not only did staying organize help me develop myself today; In addition,
One of the critical characteristics to have in order to succeed is organization. Organization can help by making it easier to locate assignments, materials etc.. You can remove all unneeded papers and assignments. Tabing specific pages in your notebook can also help. In the article, “4 Ways Kids Use Organization Skills to Learn,” by Amanda Morin she states, “Kids who have weak organization skills struggle with handling information in an effective and logical way.” This can easily be avoided by keeping a clean, neat work space. Morin also states, “Kids with strong organization skills can often follow directions without thinking.” We see that organized students have a mind that reacts much faster. Personally, I struggle with being organized but I try my best to mark papers and take old papers out from my binder. Being organized can
I PUT DVDS AND BOOKS IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER, THEY ARE EASIER TO FIND. I COLOR COORDINATE MY CLOTHES FOR WORK, IT TAKES ME LESS TIME TO PUT AN OUTFIT TOGETHER. THERE ARE SO MANY WAYS THAT YOU CAN RE-PURPOSE THINGS. YOU CAN USE ICE CUBE TRAYS FOR A DESK, FOR HOME OR WORK. IT WORKS GREAT FOR US, WHEN WE ARE TRYING TO SAVE TIME. MY BIGGEST THING IS, GET RID OF THINGS YOU HAVEN’T USED FOR AT LEAST A YEAR. IT’S HARD TO GET RID OF SOME STUFF, BUT IT KEEPS IT A LITTLE MORE ORGANIZED. THE CLEANER AND MORE ORGANIZED YOUR WORKSPACE, THE BETTER YOU WILL FEEL. YOUR HOME WILL BE EASIER TO CLEAN AND STAY CLEAN, I HAVE FOUND THAT OUT. THERE 'S A DISTINCTION BETWEEN ORGANIZATION AND ALSO THE MERCHANDISE YOU MAY USE TO REALIZE THAT GOAL. ORGANIZATION MAY BE A METHOD, NOT A PRODUCT. I HAVE A FEW TASKS FOR YOU, THAT YOU CAN DO IN LESS THAN TEN MINUTES. RESPOND TO OR DELETE 20 EMAILS. CLEARING OUT OLD MESSAGES, ARCHIVE ONES YOU WANT TO KEEP. FILE ONE STACK OF PAPERWORK. CHECK YOUR APPOINTMENT CALENDAR FOR THE WEEK. MAKE A TO DO LIST. YOU MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO ALL OF THESE THINGS IN TEN MINUTES BUT, DOING SOMETHING IS BETTER THAN DOING NOTHING. USING A LABEL MAKER COMES IN HANDY, I HAVE FOUND THAT IT MAKES THINGS MORE SIMPLE. STORING MANUALS FOR SOFTWARE, PRINTER, COPIER, CALCULATOR, AND FAX MACHINES IN ONE PLACE, MAKES THEM EASY TO FIND. TRYING TO MAKE YOUR DESK AREA HEALTHIER, MAKES YOU HEALTHIER. TRY TO COMBINE PHYSICAL ACTIVITY INTO YOUR DESK AREA, IT WILL MAKE YOU MORE
I love being organized, I also organize my closet crazily (my shirts by sleeve length and once that it's in order, I organize it by color)

Organization is very important. With so many different things going on you must be able to stay organized!
Staying organized is a skill, and just like any talent it requires practice. In the same way you would start a diet or an exercise plan, begin by making one or two positive changes every week, and eventually, an organized home will be part of your daily lifestyle.
One of the best things I did throughout my career in school was to write all of my assignments and events in an agenda. They would give us these in middle school with boxes for each class and motivational quotes and some pretty random information that I read when I was bored in class over and over again. Having an agenda and your teachers doing agenda checks every week made me incredibly organized and I can’t even fall asleep with a piece of clothing on the floor or a box unchecked in my agenda. I will bring this skill with me to college and into my future because it makes my life a lot easier and I am less stressed when I have a plan to do everything on a specific day of the week or
An organizer book has never worked for me; I could not keep up the writing every day. Therefore, I took advantage of the time I spend on bus rides pondering about my day when I get on. I start from when I wake up to when I sleep. I begin inserting activities one by one in my mind, thinking about what I need to eat and what homework I need to finish. Additionally, I force myself to find different ways to complete activity to create the most efficiency. Being organized without using a book has given me satisfaction every day.
My life is run by alignment and perfection. Aligning everything on my desk, aligning everything on my computer, aligning everything in my backpack. Perfection in my work, perfection of my personal items, perfection of workout reps at the gym. Alignment and perfection is everything. I can’t stop help it, I just need to perfect and align all of my things. This habit of keeping things organized is so that I can focus on the important things. However, is it more than just a habit? More than a obsession? Is it an addiction to be constantly organized? Yes. I need to have everything aligned to the pixel, to the centimeter, or I can’t let it be. Whether it be using an arrow key or barely tapping the object to get it in line, it must be perfect. Perfection is necessary, perfection is everything, perfection is absolute.
All of my life I have struggled with the task of staying organized, in third grade I was that girl who had papers shoved in her locker up to her eyebrows. It was not until my junior year of high school that I was determined to shake the disorganization. Since I was involved in so many activities and had to balance a tough academic schedule, I needed away to stay on top of everything. Furthermore, I responded to this by cleaning my bedroom every day when I got home from school. It may sound strange, but having a clean room made sure my mind was ten times less cluttered. In addition to cleaning my room, I made sure my locker was spotless, kept all of my papers in binders, and went through my bag frequently to throw away any unneeded papers. Nevertheless,
My home has never been so much clutter free before. And I kept on maintaining my place that way. It was easy because my space was so much open. Before feng shui, my apartment was clean but seemed a little bit cluttered and I would wait till weekend do work around the home. I no longer keep my dishes overnight. Everything has its place and I keep them in their place right away. I also read Kon Mary's book Magic of tidying up to help with cleaning. I loved loved the book. I donated and threw so many things which were like baggage to me. Feng shui focuses on having a clean and green environment. I added plants to my apartment. Smell of incense and essential oils; diffuser or opening windows for fresh air, opening curtain every morning for light, plants, no clutter, very clean apartment makes me so much happy.
Those who find it difficult to organize sometimes find themselves struggling with simple activities, and they usually have a higher stress level. “An organized person gives a much better business impression than someone who can't find a phone number, has an office piled with cardboard boxes or is always late for appointments” (Gracia) . One action that you can take to become more organized is to plan your day to day routine. Also, there are numerous training programs and books that are catered specifically to developing these important skills. The benefits to being an organized person are numerous, and will reap great rewards in every aspect of life. In my current profession, as an administrative assistant I assist over 30 physicians. Therefore, I have to be extremely organized. It is vital that I do not keep a messy office as I would get very stressed and lose track of important information. Also, in my opinion, it does not look very professional when your office is cluttered or you always looking for things. I have a system in place to make sure my desk is free from clutter. Even though I have not yet to perfect my organization skills, I feel that continuing to develop great organization skills will allow me to be more effective and efficient in the professional world.
I feel like I’m a very unorganized person because I’m always losing s my paper and I never can keep track of my martials and items for class I found all this out when I was in middle school because I always used to lose my school worksheets and I never used to have the right work assignments with me while going to class. I used to try my best to stay organized it just was always a hard task for me to do because I was just used to throwing my paper in my book bag and doing other then find it when the teacher ask for the paper and I never used to have to separate my work from each other.
Organization means using your space wisely. Using things like computers to hold lots of information and keep
In order to get organized; you need to get rid of any unwanted items that are laying around, such as garbage, dirty dishes, and of course dirty clothes. Once you get all of these items in their designated spots, you will be left with only the items that actually belong in your bedroom. From there you would begin to start putting these remaining items in their proper place. I would suggest to start with folding all of your clothes and getting them put away in either your dresser or closest because your clothes often times take up the most space. Then you can focus on all of the other random things that are scattered about.
