High school most certainly changes many people without even realizing it. Certain things are not the same as they were back in middle school. This new transition to high school was an absolute shock to me, I never believed such events would occur or things would end up changing. Based on that, I wished things would go back to being the same, but there was no point in trying, because nothing was going to go back to normal. Do not ever think that in high school, you will end up graduating with the same group of friends as you did when you were in middle school. In high school, so many things will transform and whether you like it or not, you cannot do anything about it to fix this situation.
Never would I have imagined that going into high school would have a great impact on me and my life. Going into high school, I had a big group of friends, and we were all so close to one another throughout middle school; we were simply, inseparable. The majority of the week, we would hang out together both during and after school, going out to different places, and creating new memories that strengthened our friendship. Graduation day had arrived, and my friends and I, were excited to head on to highschool, to experience a new life with many things to explore. We promised to stay together no matter what and prove that those sayings about “once going into high school, you lose your friends,” is false, because our friendship can withstand anything.
Unfortunately, not all of us were heading
Each and every school presents itself with new opportunities for their students; UHS presents some of the best opportunities in the country for music students such as myself. UHS provides their students with one of the best music programs available in California. This is one of the many reasons I long to attend UHS. As a violinist I want the best way to improve, along with honing my skills and University High School is the best place to do so. In addition the small classroom, as well as the low school population sparks my interest. I believe that the enclosed environment will provide enhanced collaboration between the professor, and student. This connection between mentor and pupil is critical to victory in high school, and large schools with
From happy moments to sad moments, from having the best time to falling asleep in class. Middle school was also a place for change. As Robin Sharma once stated, “Change is hard at first, messy in the middle and gorgeous at the end.” High school will definitely bring many changes in our lives. At first, everything may be difficult but, as each year goes by you will quickly realize that you are capable of handling it because, you know at the end of the day everything will be
Middle school to high school is a big jump from not only school to school but also new people coming into our school, harder academics, sports are now a part of your school life, and a jump from school to school. My thoughts on high school have really changed over the past few weeks. When I first realized that we we're going to be in high school shortly, I got a little freaked out. Although I know alot of high schoolers and specific people that go to West I still feel overwhelmed by the fact that i'm going from a 600 person school to a 1,200+ person school. For the longest time I felt if high school would be the hardest part of my life and getting accustomed to the new setting would be hard for me, I thought the people there we're mean and
Many students worry about how their middle school years will go. Middle school is a very important part of a student’s education. Middle school is their initiation into high school and could really impact their future. Many elementary school students think that they are prepared and can do well in middle school, but many are not ready. Also, students who do not do well in middle school tend to not do well in high school. One lesson I would like to teach elementary school students is how to survive middle school, which is important because it will lead them to a better future by being prepared, managing time, and knowing how to problem solve.
High school is such a different experience for everyone. We all take different paths and learn new things everyday. We learn trigonometry, how to fix cars, how to dissect a frog, and different laws in the world. The things we learn in class are very important, but along the way of expanding our educations, one will tend to learn a lot about themselves and others. For me, I feel that my high school experience was not ideal and I constantly complain about the outcome. Looking back in grade eight, I had a different plan for me. It took me up until this year to realize that although my experience was not something worth bragging about, I've learned a lot about who I am. I've learned to take chances, be patient, and
With a new friend, Labshel, she was able to introduce us to her friends. Gaining friends with the help of other friends and my socializing skills I was able to create a big group of them like those seen in movies. Our group of friends consisted of a funny, jokester, shy, outgoing, wild and smart friend. As my first year of high school went by it was an exciting ride with many crazy adventurous. Learning new academic skills such as Algebra 1, Living Environment, Global 1 and much more it helped me expand my mind to new things. Starting as a nervous and worried freshman I ended the year with gaining new memories and friendships. Freshman year made me realize how amazing my next three school years were going to be I was ready for this new journey in a total new school with new people and new friends. High school was nothing like I imagined, it was an amazing year for me and I was so glad everything was going good. Freshman year was both stressing but fun and i’m so glad I was able to experience it with such amazing
I am now entering my final year of high school. Most things have changed. I have a completely different group of friends than I did at the start. I no longer even go to the lunchroom, and I hate parties. But some things never change.
During school, my goals is to get good grades and go to high school, because by the time you go to high school they're gonna tell you about life. I just wanted to learn stuff and work hard because I can help my family out, or get a job, but I'm really gonna miss going back to school because all your friend is gonna be there, and you won't remember what you learn or what you did during school time.
It takes lots of hard work, education, and dedication to become a veterinarian. A veterinarian, or vet, is a doctor that treats and diagnoses animals. When your animal is sick, hurt, or you are in need of medical advice you take your pet to the vet. When I graduate high school, I plan on going to school to be a vet.
I was always told that things would change in highschool. You would meet new people, find new friends, and even discover a new class that amazes you. No one prepared me for what was going to happen Sophomore year though; no one saw it coming.
Things was completely different but the same. The work was harder and different from the work I had in middle school even the teachers I had was also different as well. My transition going into high school was different. It happened to be a different type of scenery and I didn’t expect for that to happen to me at that time. Being a freshman opened up a whole different world for me that I wasn’t really ready for. Going into highschool, I had friends I thought I would be friends with for my entire life. As soon as I got to high school things started to change. On top of the friends I had I also made new friends as well. When I was a freshman I had to look up to the upperclassmen to guide me and to lead me by example. When I was a freshman, it meant I had to be on my P’s and Q’s. I felt a lot of pressure when I was a freshman especially from teachers. Fitting in while I was a freshman wasn’t a good start for me because I wasn’t really involved into any school activities or
What would school be like without any fun or competition? Even though school is meant for learning, students still deserve to participate in something fun that is also beneficial to them. That is why competitive sports deserve to be kept in high school. Without them, students wouldn’t learn important life lessons and how to work as a team, some may not even have the opportunity to progress in school and go to college, also it is healthy and helps establish a sense of community.
There are various complications from the transition from middle school to high school but that should not discourage a person from trying to fit in. Not only do teenagers lose friends, and interest in school, they also have to get in touch with the new social norms placed upon them; the one thing that will make sure a person will have lunch outside in the shade next to all their- “quote on quote” - best friends, instead of having their lunch with the Librarian, Susan. It is called being socially acceptable. Many adjustments need to be made for the transition like clothing attire, social media must needs and attitude.
Highschool so far has been three years of over-laziness and stupid activities for this slacker. It has been three years and I still haven't been able to get myself in order with my grades and those grades have caused stress that I am not able to handle so it just gets ignored.
The reason why I think it’s important to have a high school diploma in your future is because certain jobs that make the big money it’s a requirement for you to have a high school diploma. In this generation it all comes down to money, how much you making, how much you spend and if you don’t have a really good job because you didn’t get your high school diploma then you have to watch what you spend your money on. It is some jobs that you don’t need a high school diploma too work at like for example McDonalds but It a likely chance you’re going to be working there forever making a lot money. It’s also important to have it in the future because of your children why I say that because every parent wants to make their children life better than
