Many students worry about how their middle school years will go. Middle school is a very important part of a student’s education. Middle school is their initiation into high school and could really impact their future. Many elementary school students think that they are prepared and can do well in middle school, but many are not ready. Also, students who do not do well in middle school tend to not do well in high school. With a new friend, Labshel, she was able to introduce us to her friends. Gaining friends with the help of other friends and my socializing skills I was able to create a big group of them like those seen in movies. Our group of friends consisted of a funny, jokester, shy, outgoing, wild and smart friend. As my first year of high school went by it was an exciting ride with many crazy adventurous. Learning new academic skills such as Algebra 1, Living Environment, Global 1 and much more it helped me expand my mind to new things. I am now entering my final year of high school. Most things have changed. I have a completely different group of friends than I did at the start. I no longer even go to the lunchroom, and I hate parties. But some things never change.

During school, my goals is to get good grades and go to high school, because by the time you go to high school they're gonna tell you about life. When your animal is sick, hurt, or you are in need of medical advice you take your pet to the vet. When I graduate high school, I plan on going to school to be a vet.

I was always told that things would change in highschool. You would meet new people, find new friends, and even discover a new class that amazes you. No one prepared me for what was going to happen Sophomore year though; no one saw it coming.

Things was completely different but the same. The work was harder and different from the work I had in middle school even the teachers I had was also different as well. My transition going into high school was different. It happened to be a different type of scenery and I didn’t expect for that to happen to me at that time. Being a freshman opened up a whole different world for me that I wasn’t really ready for. Going into highschool, I had friends I thought I would be friends with for my entire life. As soon as I got to high school things started to change. On top of the friends I had I also made new friends as well. When I was a freshman I had to look up to the upperclassmen to guide me and to lead me by example. When I was a freshman, it meant I had to be on my P’s and Q’s. What would school be like without any fun or competition? Even though school is meant for learning, students still deserve to participate in something fun that is also beneficial to them. That is why competitive sports deserve to be kept in high school. Without them, students wouldn’t learn important life lessons and how to work as a team, some may not even have the opportunity to progress in school and go to college, also it is healthy and helps establish a sense of community.

There are various complications from the transition from middle school to high school but that should not discourage a person from trying to fit in. Not only do teenagers lose friends, and interest in school, they also have to get in touch with the new social norms placed upon them; the one thing that will make sure a person will have lunch outside in the shade next to all their- “quote on quote” - best friends, instead of having their lunch with the Librarian, Susan. It is called being socially acceptable. Many adjustments need to be made for the transition like clothing attire, social media must needs and attitude.

Highschool so far has been three years of over-laziness and stupid activities for this slacker. It has been three years and I still haven't been able to get myself in order with my grades and those grades have caused stress that I am not able to handle so it just gets ignored.

The reason why I think it’s important to have a high school diploma in your future is because certain jobs that make the big money it’s a requirement for you to have a high school diploma. In this generation it all comes down to money, how much you making, how much you spend and if you don’t have a really good job because you didn’t get your high school diploma then you have to watch what you spend your money on. It is some jobs that you don’t need a high school diploma too work at like for example McDonalds but It a likely chance you’re going to be working there forever making a lot money.
