You know politics are completely out of whack when you have Political Party members calling their Candidate cancer. The act Hillary Clinton should’ve taken her to jail. After reading this article, I have come to find that most people in America vote for the party, not the person who is running for it. How before electoral college votes, Hillary was still up in the election after all she had done and contributed to the debt of the DNC, I have no idea.
What if you were told that the potential president of the United States, Hillary Clinton, had an illness that could possibly make her incapable of running the country? How would you react? Apparently there is more to Clinton than we know. This analysis will over view the YouTube video of “Hillary Clintons Illness Revealed” by Dr. Ted Noel. Noel goes in depth about Clinton’s potential disease and his evidence he researched on incidents that make Clinton susceptible to being linked to Parkinson’s disease. Even though there are incidents where Clinton’s actions question whether she has the disease or not, there is no proof yet that she has the disease. This topic will go into detail about Dr. Noel’s theory and whether or not Clinton is capable of withholding the presidential position. The reasoning for this analysis of Dr. Noel’s video on Clinton’s potential disease is to analyze the structure of his the claims made on Clinton with his use of word choice, deductive reasoning, ethos, logos and pathos
My research about why Hilary Clinton lost the presidency seemed to lead me to all the answers. She was unprepared. Despite that I see the data and the numbers, I still believe she should have won. She had the majority vote. It was minor mistakes that she made, but I assume that the price she must pay. I am a firm believe that if it is meant for you, then it will be yours and no one can take it away from you. Unfortunately, it was not meant for her. She lost because she assumed that prior voting behavior would swing in her favor, she assumed that just because she was the well know experienced candidate that that would lead her to win, and she assumed that it was all secure. She expected it to be handed to her because she did deserve it because
There have been many changes in the treatment of offenders by the Criminal Justice System in England and Wales, particularly the treatment of female offenders. The handling of women within the criminal justice system has been closely tied to their social characteristics, and to what might be described as their ‘social construction’. On the other hand, women who compromise more than half of the world’s population, account for only 15% of criminal activity and as a consequence, relatively little attention has been given to them. This essay will explore how this has changed from a historical point of view to modern times, with exploration from cross-culture comparisons and an overview of the treatments of females in prisons.
President and First Lady Obama, who are well-loved and respected, bet their legacy on Hillary Clinton and now it’s tarnished. The American People felt the President and First Lady was trying to convince them to vote for someone who was corrupt and deserve to be in jail. Therefore, it was a hard sell even for the Obamas.
Michelle Alexander who was born in 1968 is an associate professor of law at Ohio State University also a civil rights advocate and a writer. She is a highly acclaimed civil rights lawyer, advocate, and legal scholar. In recent years, she has taught at a number of universities, including Stanford Law School, where she was an associate professor of law and directed the Civil Rights Clinics. Alexander published the book The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness. In it, she argues that systemic racial discrimination in the United States has resumed following the Civil Rights Movement's gains; the resumption is embedded in the US War on Drugs and other governmental policies and is having devastating social consequences.
Hilary Clinton has been called many slanderous things: controversial, a cheater, and a corrupt emailer . However, American voters should take into consideration her potential as a grandiloquent leader. Hilary Clinton has several years of political experience due to her being the first lady during her husband’s 1992 presidential run . In addition to this, she has served as the United States’ Secretary of State from 2009-2013 , Arkansas First Lady , and as the United States Senator for New York from 2001 to 2009 . Her political influence can be compared to numerous female political figures such as Madeleine Albright , the first woman to be appointed as the United States Secretary of State or even “the Iron Lady”, Margaret Thatcher, who was Britain’s
Different from Reagan , Bill Clinton was always a democratic. Clinton became the 42nd president of the United States. Both Clinton and Reagan were at fault for the growth of prisoners and prison systems. Reagan for the crack and Clinton for what the prison system is like today. Clinton’s three strikes you’re out law caused so many third time offenders to go to jail for life. Michelle Alexander states “ Bill Clinton was president when the largest increase in federal and state prison inmates” (13). Reagan started the mass incarceration but clinton pushed it far beyond anyone imagination. Bill Clinton’s wife, Hillary Clinton called black children “super-predators”. Clinton’s 1994 crime bill changed everything about the judicial system. Prisons
On September 12, 2016 the Star-Telegram reprinted the article, “Do we really want a president who coughs?” written by Rex Huppke, who is a columnist for the Chicago Tribune. With the upcoming Presidential elections in November, Mr. Huppke focused his attention on the Democratic nominee, Hilary Clinton and her recent coughing episode during a speech she gave in Ohio. He suggests that her cough should be a major concern for voters and her health examined thoroughly to see if she is fit enough to be the President of the United States. He sites what he calls “reliable websites” and he quotes seemingly reputable sources that are also deeply concerned she is not. His cautionary tone in the beginning of the article leads the reader to believe he has a serious point to get across. However, his fictitious words, hasty generalizations, and outright lies tell a different story. He also breaks numerous rules of fallacy throughout this satirical piece to make the point Americans are ridiculously naïve if they rely solely on media to make significant decisions.
The media today, is highly selective in their constructions of offences, offenders and victims. Media representations of crime are moulded and women are portrayed in a way that is entertainment driven and is appealing to the audience. Despite the fact that women seldom stalk, murder outsiders or commit sequential murders- in fact they are rarely vehement, “accounting for only ten percent of convicted violent offenders- those who do so are highly newsworthy because of their novelty” (Jewkes 2011, p. 123) Present day media admits that because fierce women are comparatively uncommon, they are all the more appealing and diabolical to the audience as a result. The essay shall discuss the reason and presentation in the media of female offenders, female victims and women specific crimes.
In many cases we are forced to believe that the prison system is fair and equal to all, although that may not be the case. The prison system at first glance seems fair and equal but after looking closer you will find many times it’s not fair at all. For example, “an African American male could spend more time in jail for possession of crack than a white man with the same amount of powder cocaine” (Harmon 372). This is just one example of how society has been taken advantage of in the prison system. Some people are subject to years in prison although they should not be while others enjoy life even though they should be in prison. The injustice in the sentencing of prisoners is an ongoing problem in society, as some criminals get of easy for horrible crimes others criminals suffer unfairly all because of color of their skin.
Female Criminality consists of several outdated statistics regarding the rise of female offending. However, in viewing the current research on the subject, it appears that the overall theme of this dissertation's discussion is still relevant despite changes in the accompanying statistics as seen in viewing the following topics: the rise in female offending; the continual rise that females are committing more crimes than men; and the types of crimes that women are committing. In viewing Bruce Gross's 2009 article, "Battle of the Sexes: The Nature of Female Delinquency," as well as Elizabeth Cauffman's 2008 article, "Understanding the Female Offender," one can begin to see where current statistics regarding the female criminal lie.
It happens in politics a lot a woman would strive to get one job, but be overlooked due to the fact they are a women. However this was the claim of many American women and feminist, who thought that because Hillary had the majority vote she should have won the election right? No the fact that her shady past caught up with her is the reason why. Cohen uses logical appeal in order to bring the audience in, “to some, it seems an open-and-shut case that a woman faces an insuperable double standard on the road to the white house”. However this is not the case.
In response to Devon Smith’s review of Whither Justice: Stories of Women in Prison reviewed that her time spent in jail was not simply part of her fieldwork but actual incarceration “as an under trial prisoner.”
This is the story of Piper Kerman, and how her personal story from being in prison relates to that of other female offenders. Kerman came from a well educated family, who were mostly doctors, lawyers, or teachers.“Much to the skepticism of my father and grandfather,” she writes, Kerman had majored in theater (Kerman, p. 4), and graduated from Smith College in New England. After college, her classmates and friends were going off to their graduate school programs or new jobs. Kerman, however, decided to stay in Massachusetts. She felt unmotivated pursuing a career in theater, and did not have an interest in truly continuing on with her education. Furthermore, she also felt that she did not have a “meaningful career” (Kerman, p. 4). Kerman
Every four years on the Tuesday after the first Monday in November, a Presidential Election is held to determine who the new leader of our country will be. The election year is a very important time; however, this year it is more crucial to cast your vote than previous years, simply because of one particular candidate running must be prevented from becoming president. Most officials running for this type of position are humans you can trust, believe in, and count on. However, the particular candidate as mentioned earlier, Hilary Clinton, is not a person with these three qualities. Not only can she not be trusted, believed in, or counted on, she is also a liar, a murderer, and a manipulating nasty woman. Hilary has been the cause of many deaths, including those murdered in Benghazi and trillions of abortions throughout the United States. She has been found guilty of releasing thousands of confidential, government emails to the public, and she has no protection plan for the safety of our country and our families against illegal emigration. These key points should all influence American individuals to vote against Hilary Clinton, because she is the worst candidate in America’s voting history.
