What is an activist? The short answer is You, if you're reading this because you've just done one more thing that another hasn't and that’s seek out information, the next thing you have to do is share what you've learned.
Marijuana activism is not the only cause out there but it's the only one I can think of that would actually fix something in my lifetime with a stroke of a pen more can be done for social justice and equality all around, for black, for white, for men and women, and the economically challenged.
Donate Time, If You Have No Money

I'm not because one of my articles was submitted as Federal evidence due to a Vegas stripper wanting to know if she could sue for an article that mentioned her during the Lance Gloor trial which might I add was a sham of justice in itself.
I'm a marijuana because I can't stop thinking about this continuing injustice in my America, the land of the not so free and chicken shits who look for criminals with no victim which in if you think about, is not a crime. I'm a marijuana activist because me and people I love can go to jail for any amount of plant still in my America.
As an activist my biggest accomplishment is not the things I've mentioned above or the things I haven't mentioned, my biggest contribution is being a father, by being a man that devotes his time and money to nurture and to create a family, to create a safe place for those I love.
Activist Have Different Goals
My number one preoccupation as an activist has been to change the mind of the world, not the law because in America perception is everything, politics has taught us
Often times, when something is wrong, an activist cannot help but to respond. This longing to make a difference is one of the key qualities in an influential activist. For example, a completely ordinary teen named Alex Lin came across an article about e-waste in the Wall Street journal. In a video interview he says “Every long journey starts with a short step” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Weqt0N0vxH4). That is very true, because from then on, his interest and passion kept growing. He spent hours collecting old electronics and managed to recycle 20,00 pound of e-waste that day. He formed a team and devoted his time to get a law passed in his city banning e-waste dumping. He still continues his journey and has built media centers in other parts of the world in his quest to eliminate e-waste. But, just like many others, he won’t stop there. He
Activist are those people who are attracted by new challenges and experiences, they don't mind trying anything at least once and they put themselves in action
What is a teen activist? A teen activist is a teenager who wants to help people or animals for a cause. What I think about all teen activists is that they all fight for what they believe in. They go to extensive lengths to help people to help us. They don't do this because they have to they do it because they want to do it. They don't care that the odds were against them or they have very little chance of succeeding. They do what they want and the do it right. They are like the voice of the people fighting up against poverty and all the other struggles in the world. Most activists go through a lot like Malala but I won't get to deep into that yet. They all have the courage to do what they do.
The word activist or feminist, it invokes a picture in the mind of a person who is strong, resilient, and unafraid to stand up for what they believe in. Martha P. Cotera does not fulfill this picture at first glance, but she has done great work with the Chicano Movement and the Chicana Feminist Movement. More than you would think could come out of a librarian.
The dispute over the legalization of cannabis sativa, more commonly known as marijuana, is one of the most controversial issues ever to take place in the United States. Its use as a medicine has existed for thousands of years in many countries across the globe. Legalization should be considered despite efforts made by groups who say marijuana is a harmful drug that will increase crime rates and lead users to other more dangerous substances. The legalization of marijuana can improve our society by helping with our economy, freeing legal resources, and benefiting the overall health of the nation though medical uses.
There has always been great activists, some are professors, such as Elie Wiesel but most importantly,, we are human beings and part of a community. Being able to help is to stand up for others beliefs in religion, culture, race and most of all political views. For that, i do agree with Elie, i want to believe in a place that a human being is more important than social standards. Many injustices have happened, one of the most horrific events in history would be the Holocaust, but over time we learn how to get the attention to help change any situation, like the day president Trump was sworn in, everyone thought that we would be made unimportant, put aside, and that is the reason why protests for women's and immigrants rights were conducted.
Many activists had a great impact on our society. An activist is a person who campaigns for some kind of social change or someone who is actively involved in a political or social cause. Activists like Martin Luther king Jr, Cesar Chavez, Rosa Parks, and Helen Keller each had their own distinct goal on a social cause but they were all great activists who actively fought for their goal.Martin Luther King had his eyes set on the civil rights of african americans while so did Rosa Parks. Cesar Chavez fought for the immigrant workers and for better working conditions. Helen Keller was a very important person for the deaf and blind and she also was involved in the women’s rights movement. There were many important activists that had their eye set
Non traditional activists are a little wayward in terms of their way of approach to aware political representatives. Basically, they are the folks who spend most of their time in the Internet and are interested in politics and want to see their country do well at it, but do not actually get involved in it by coming on the streets. In my point of view, they have a humongous effect on the presidential election as they like (or dislike) the presidential candidates solely based upon their activeness (or indolence) on the Internet.
Have you ever thought about how much work teen activist do? Teen Activist are people who try to stop bad cause and make the world a better place. Teen activist mostly inspire people and bring there heart up. Being a teen activist requires a lot of work because they need to raise money, change laws, and find and utilize resources. The first reason why teen activist are hard workers is because they need to raise money.
The marijuana legalization movement is one of the most controversial social movements of the modern day. Efforts to reform marijuana policy have been organized since the mid 1900s. There are two major organizations leading the battle for marijuana decriminalization. The National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML) and the Marijuana Project Policy (MPP) are both looking to reschedule and eventually legalize marijuana for the use of responsible adults. These two organizations provide various strategies that, along with additional tactics from other sources, have strongly influenced the position of the marijuana legalization social movement. The mobilization of resources is strongly influenced by the two leading organizations
I think the reason for the movement now is about the science that we have available to us and also I think an issue of civil liberties. I think in today’s American society a lot more people are looking for credible facts and science on marijuana and they are mostly receiving good reports especially when it comes to its medicinal use. People are seeing how this could actually be of help and don’t get me wrong , they know that it does not cure everything and that there are some flaws, but for the most part it can be used to help those who really do need; for example cancer patients. In terms of civil liberties, I think a lot of millennials are realising that the laws against marijuana are completely ridiculous and it should be something that
definition of activism to the type of justice that reviews cases and actively strikes them down, conservatives, and textualist can be activist judges too. The late Justice Scalia considered himself a faithful textualist. Justice Scalia would often point out how wrong activist judges are in fact. Yet, Justice Scalia had struck down over eighty percent of the laws declaring them unconstitutional (Walker 2013). So, activism is something that really doe not adhere to any ideology. Although contemporary politics surely has made the activist claim solely for liberals, some very conservative judges have used activism on the bench whenever desired.

Activism and advocacy are two integral practices of my identity, and a successful activist is a leader who strives for progress through service. I began my social commitment through REMAR, a youth activist movement attached to my high school, volunteering in low-income schools, providing tutoring sessions and recreational activities for kids in the area. Today, I still offer my time to causes to which I am committed, such as increasing the visibility of international and hispanic students through active membership in different organizations like the International Student Cultural Association.
According to Dictionary.reference.com, activism is the policy or action of using campaigning to bring about political or social change. A huge campaign that is well known across the world, the Civil Rights Movement, was brought about by Martin Luther King, Jr. King risked his life everyday to ensure justice and equality for the African American race. “Small Change” by Malcolm Gladwell gives insight on how activism is more effective than social media, especially from one scenario at the Woolworth’s lunch counter in Greensboro, North Carolina. Gladwell points out his strong belief of what activism can do for a society rather
