Frequent topics of debate in our country pertain to our rights according to the constitution. Namely, freedom of speech and expression is often cause for controversy.

The Internet has incurred a tremendous amount of growth and opportunity for the country as well as the world; elevating communication, information, and commerce to a new level. With all this unprecedented innovation, the Internet has also brought controversy that challenges the very foundation of rights that countries like the United States were founded on. With countless websites containing unregulated and objectively offensive content, and the public having an ease of access to this content will result in severe damages to the development of the youth if no censorship is put in place for them to view this content. Additionally, markets are being exploited by piracy which has resulted in billions of dollars being lost by the domestic economy

Music has been the cure to many people's bad days.But on the other hand,some not.Music has been around for decades and has become popular now.Not everyone proud of the censored/uncensored music their making now and are in an disagreemnet about some people wanting music being banned.Music has become offensive to many parents and their children.However,the offensive music is affecting the way teens talk and dress,promote violence, and causing students to be unfocused in school.Muisc should be banned because it would give an positive outcomeon behavior,language,and paying attention in school.

When people think of music they automatically think of how it makes them feel which most of the time is good.They don’t comprehend the provocative lyrics or what the song’s meaning really is. In recent years, the music industry has immensely changed from buying physical copies of an album to streaming songs online from services such as Apple Music and Spotify. The landscape of the music industry is slowly transforming due to listeners' transition from buying music to streaming music. Many think that these services are giving artists a run for their money, as less and less physical copies of their work are being sold. Due to this, artists are leaning to consider licensing out their music and corporate sponsorship. Yet many think that artists are "selling out" if they take this action. Yet, in the midst of the large upheaval, artists should be allowed to use their music for advertisement.

Online piracy doesn’t only necessarily harm the music industry but harms other industries that are available in an economy, such as the movie industry. For instance, in the years of 2009 and 2010, a research study showed an estimate of 12,600 jobs and $1.8 billion were lost throughout the entire Canadian economy due to the piracy of movies let alone piracy of other content (source). The physical recorded music worldwide was exceling in the 1990’s, having profits as high as $37 billion in 1999 however that number significantly drops to $25 billion by 2007. Several organizations agreed that the drastic decrease in revenue not solely in Canada but worldwide, is due to online piracy. It has caused songwriters lose their jobs and staying without works and is demotivating new artists into the industry since it is a much harder process now to get signed into the business now. Now, anyone with talent can post a video of themselves and become an internet sensation, only to then receive a deal with a label to continue growing their career. The issue is, with the Internet came digital downloading, and with the growing popularity of digital downloading came illegal downloading, known as Digital Piracy, which has affected the music industry greatly. This issue affects everyone involved in the Music Industry. From the small CD store owner to the Artist on stage, everyone has and continues to be affected by the growing popularity of digital downloading services. Artists, producers, and songwriters lose an estimated 12.5 Billion USD every year to illegal digital music services. Further, the economic impact from [digital downloading] is an estimated loss of 2+ Billion USD (Storrs, 1). This money affects the “little guys” in the industry and the average worker within the industry.

Censorship is an extremely controversial issue. There have been hundreds of thousands of essays written about whether or not censorship on the Internet is right or wrong, but so far, no precise conclusion has surfaced. I've researched into the topic, but I haven't completely sided with one or the other. There are just good reasons against censorship. This essay briefly discusses some reasons why the Internet should be censored, but will then mainly focus on reasons why the Internet should not be censored.

Everyone has heard of the Internet and how it is going to help set the world free. The Internet is the fastest growing form of communication and is becoming more and more common in the home. Companies these days do big business over the Internet, and online shopping has grown tremendously in the last few years. For instance, the online auction site eBay sells millions of items every year online. Many companies are making even more plans to expand their business to the Internet. Unfortunately, there have been numerous attempts lately to censor the Internet. If the Internet is controlled, regulated, restricted, or censored it will have harsh effects on its capabilities.

The music industry claims to be suffering losses in large amounts due to pirates. Apparently billions of dollars of money that could have been made is being taken away. Peer-to-peer file sharing, born from the advancement of modern technology, has been a large aspect of the internet for a couple of years, but still the music industry cannot figure out how to use it to their advantage. The truth is that file sharing should be viewed as a good thing for the music industry because it proves beyond any reasonable doubt that this industry is stricken with flaws; music software is unrealistically expensive; industry based promotional techniques for bands are ineffective; and as a whole, the music industry is using ancient methods of operation.

There is a big influence of technique on our daily life. Electronic devices, multimedia and computers are things we have to deal with everyday.
