In a nut shell the web 2.0 is the way the information is shared, stored, created, displayed, manipulated, and distributed how it effects the internet.

Today, computers are found everywhere and people rely upon them for travel directions, entertainment, purchasing products, and social interactions.

The Web is structure on the idea of sharing, for the most part for free. This evens the playing field to everyone with a computer, a phone, and/or a tablet and the connection to the internet. This means the average person has a platform and an audience, something that has never happened before until recently.

Throughout time, privacy and security have been two heavily debated topics. There has always been a struggle to find middle ground between a private environment and a secure environment, but the dawn of technology and the Internet has made this struggle even more difficult. The Internet has drastically decreased the expectation of privacy of any and all individuals that have ever used it. Technology in general can pose a threat to an individual’s physical and virtual security. The Internet has also brought forth a sense of anonymity to those looking to conceal their true identities, some of which plan to commit horrific crimes. Privacy and security go hand in hand, however security is by far the most important.

The Internet - The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly The internet is a computer based global information system. It is composed of many interconnected computer networks. Each network may link thousands of computers enabling them to share information. The internet has brought a transformation in many aspects of life.

Perhaps one of the greatest inventions of out time is the Internet. Without a doubt, the net has had a profound effect on almost every aspect of our lives. The formation of the Internet has changed the way we do business, communicate, entertain, retrieve information, and even educate ourselves. Nevertheless, the Internet might have never materialized if it had not been for some innovated thinkers from the Advanced Research Project Agency, who created "ARPANET." In collaboration with several educational and research institutions, the agency created the packet-switching technologies that form the basis of the Internet today.

In the original World Wide Web, data was made available for users to simply view and download. However, in Web 2.0, users have more input and control over the scope of the web content. This increases interaction, sharing and collaboration. Examples for these would be microblogging, social networking and wikis. (WhatIs.com, 2015)

Imagine a world where geographic separation does not inhibit the social or economic mobility of people. A place where cement roads are obsolete and unnecessary and the information super highway is the only road you need to know how to navigate. Information technology becomes the glue and nails that binds our (global) society together. Development becomes a matter of installing fiber-optic wiring, cellular towers and satellite launching. Now imagine a world where there is no electricity, telephones, computers, roads or other mediums of transportation other than legs and feet. In the beginning of my study on the future of the internet, I asked myself this question: is it possible that everyone could be online and globally connected? Then I asked myself how, if everyone is online, the future of the internet change the experience of everyday life? First and foremost, one of the most notable breakthrough of the Web 2.0 is the improvement in search engines including Google, Yahoo, and Bing. The internet, according to Wikipedia, has many uses that include data sharing, e-commerce, booking of tickets, socializing, job searching, entertainment and also in e-learning. With advancements in technology, the number of users of the internet are increasing daily. With internet speed increasing over time, the Internet brings knowledge and information on nearly every subject imaginable straight to your computer. This has made our lives easier and more efficient. Though the internet has many advantages, it has brought a lot of negative impact to our society.

Knowledge has increased tremendously in all areas of human endeavor with new discoveries and better ways of communication and interaction emerging all over the world. The rapid development of information, communication and technologies (ICT), internet technologies and Web-based applications have initiated unparalleled transformation in universities all over the world (Cheng & Yau, 2010). This has brought about increased demand for information and the need for “education for all”. Advances in computer and telecommunication technology, World Wide Web has become a major factor to reckon with in searching for and dissemination of information (Sanjo, 2005). These advances has brought about an “e” in all human endeavor; e-learning, e-banking, e-government. The advent of ICT devices has revolutionized the nature of human activities and operation in virtually all fields of endeavor.

The very fundamental purpose of Internet is to provide an open information framework with few access barriers to information. There are several potential risks associated with the implementation of Internet in the organization. So managers should pay attention to it and avoid it.

Recently, organizations and industries used to face many difficulties; doing certain office and business tasks, retrieving information and gaining services while paying huge amounts of money. Nowadays, using up- to-date technologies and computing services can help solving severe problems with a click of a button; one of the suggested solutions was designing a cloud full of services and resources.
