Gun control is the restrictions or banning of firearms. Gun control refers to laws or policies that regulate the manufacture, sale, transfer, possession, modification, or use of firearms. In my opinion there will always be a debate about it. If I had to choose a side on this gun control debate, it would certainly be against gun control. I believe that the United States of America should not allow gun control to become a country wise law or increase gun control laws. Although I do think there should be certain restrictions for criminals, but not for law abiding citizens. Gun Control is not only significant to me but it is a very important topic to each person in the United States of America. We have the Second Amendment which gives us the right to bear arms, and permitting gun control to pass in the U.S. would be violating our Second Amendment rights. We also have the right to defend ourselves, and that is very important. Gun control has got to be the most important topic in American politics today. It affects everyone in the U.S. one way or another. It vary greatly around the world. “One of the issues that liberals and gun control advocates are most loath to discuss is how heavily and effectively totalitarians and mass murderers have relied upon gun registration and other firearms controls to round up “enemies of the state.” Hitler, Stalin, Castro, and Mussolini all seized upon gun laws to punish, incarcerate, and even exterminate their opponents, while permitting their own
Gun Control should not be enacted, Gun Control Laws have been proven ineffective in other countries, The Second Amendment allows American Citizens the right to keep and bear arms, and Gun Control laws take power from American Citizens, granted to them in the Constitution. Gun Control Laws have been proven ineffective in other countries. Gun Control Laws take power from the people. The Second Amendment grants US Citizens the right to keep and bear arms. Gun control laws would not help the United States decrease gun
There are many rising controversy’s in America today, but gun control seems to come up often. The controversy comes from the belief that guns lead to violence and a rise in fatal accidents. Research shows otherwise in this aspect. Guns shouldn’t be banned all together they should just be regulated more effectively and prevented from being attained illegally. Gun control is a positive thing to an extent, but should not be used to prevent the correct people from obtaining a gun.
Gun control is not one issue, but many. To most people gun control is an issue of crime and to others it is simply a rights issue. Gun control is a safety issue, an education issue, and a racial issue. With all of these issues there are people who want more gun control and those who want less. On either side of these issues opinions range from average to severe.
Gun control is important because it helps maintain order in the world. If there was no rules about the possession of a weapon or about who can possess a weapon the world would be falling apart at this moment. If you own a handgun or any type of weapon i believe you should be kept on check every month or so to make sure it hasn't been used for any type of acts of violence or for any bad deeds. Gun Control is a necessity because the weapon/s can end up in bad hands; for example, "Minnesota teen's plans to shoot up his school. According to news reports, John David LaDue allegedly possessed an arsenal (which included homemade bombs)
The United States is known for many things. We’re number one in Moon landings, number one in diversity, and number one in guns per 100 people. As a left-wing Democrat, I find this very concerning and dangerous, but many others feel differently about the topic of gun control, and more specifically, background checks. Most opposition to extensive background checks are Republicans, and this can be seen portrayed in traditional Republican values like safety, security, and family. Through the opposition of explicit restrictions to our Second Amendment right, gun control opposition enacts values like patriotism and nationalism with strong traditional American beliefs.
Ever since the 2nd Amendment was ratified, gun control has been a flaming topic of debate in America. The politics surrounding this debate could affect the lives of millions of Americas who already own firearms. Americans are looking for information regarding what a conceal carry permit is and how to obtain a conceal- carry permit so that they may formulate their own opinions on the issue. Investigating further, citizens are confused with the numerous conceal-carry permit classes, instructional courses, and the background checks of carriers. Who is allowed to apply? Where shall they be allowed to carry? Using data gathered from a multitude of sources, the average citizen might form a new frame of reference concerning this topic with
The topic of gun control seems to be split into two different opinions for the most part. Some people believe there should not be strict government regulations on most guns because it is part of the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution. This amendment states, "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." @@@ Most people who support the 2nd amendment believe that the government should not be allowed to impinge on the public’s right to own and use guns. On a completely other note, some people believe the government needs to step in and regulate guns. Some areas that people believe need regulating can include how guns are obtained, how many one person can own, and the type of guns that can be sold to the public. In my own opinion, even though some Americans believe access to guns help protect people and is a right, there should be heavy regulations on large capacity weapons and magazines put in place to help decrease the amount of gun-related violence in America.
One of the most debated topics in the U.S. is about gun control laws. Constant dispute between citizens and the government shows that there are two sides; for or against control. Arguments, whether oral or written, point out various ways how it can either help or hurt our society here in the United States of America. Most people however agree by reinforcing these laws violates the citizen’s 2nd Amendment rights which states, “A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”1 Regarding favoring or arguing against stronger gun control laws, majority of all society is completely against stronger gun control laws and banning firearms due to several reasons; Violation of our Second Amendment, Precautions, security and self-defense, and blunt fact that criminals will and always will remain criminals.

The second amendment: the right to bear arms, is arguably the most recognized out of all of the amendments. Yet the question to ask now is how relevant is the second amendment; and with their being a major difference between the current age, and the age of when it was written, should this amendment still exist or be should it be changed. In recent times, the issue of gun control has become an increasingly heated topic. Whenever a national tragedy occurs that involves gun violence, the question on what to do about America’s gun control takes center stage. Guns are a threat to the general welfare, which the government exists to

Americans realize that the 10 Amendments produce the Bill of Rights which were made to prohibit government powers from infracturing the basic individual liberties; therefore, the changing of one of the Amendments would offset the basic individual liberties granted by the founding fathers. Countless U.S. news stations and support groups portray the mass shootings, gun violence, other gun propaganda, or naturally the use guns, as a scapegoat to support gun control. Guns do not harm people--people hurt people (And I have no doubt that this has been aforementioned extensively) however; the implementation of gun control in the U.S. will diminish the 2nd Amendment--the right to bare arms--as well as prevent the citizens the right to protect
Gun control is a real issue with Americans today. Many people have different opinions about how to handle our growing dilemma concerning guns. There are those who believe we should ban guns altogether and those who believe we should not ban or restrict the people's right to own guns at all. Both sides have valid arguments, but neither side seems to know how to compromise because of their very different opinions. I personally believe guns should be banned. However, those against gun control have very good
