Fancy a gorgeous woman in her early forties, with fire engine red hair, a prosperous business woman with a successful escort service, a penthouse in Brooklyn and a jet plane. Her pilot, Samuel and private assistant, Leona accompanied her,
On a short business trip to Atlantic City, Fancy experienced another dream as she awakened, Leona listened to her story about the hard times from her childhood. Arriving at the hotel, while Samuel checked them in, Fancy looked around at the ‘one arm bandits’ as she called the machines. An elderly woman approached her and asked for a dollar. Before Fancy could refuse, the hotel employees rushed to make certain she didn’t disturb their prominent guest.
The manager raised his voice and ordered her to leave, before they called the cops. Fancy noticed up close she didn’t look like an elderly woman, but reminded her of her mother, whom she hadn’t thought about for years, felt sympathy toward her and invited her to dinner. After listening to her story, Fancy wanted to help her, after dinner, she got her a room for the night. The next morning, she spoke with the hotel manager about him hiring her. Which he did against his better judgement. After giving her sufficient funds to take care of herself for several months, Fancy said goodbye and promised to see her soon.

Thus, began the long journey to find her sister.
With the high school reunion on everyone’s mind, Fancy and her friend, who was as poor as she was ended up being the star of the reunion as well she got her long overdue

Being ill, she was unable to do much. Although, she did make a fellow friend who was ill because of the sanitarium. Her name was Agatha Holloway. She was soon to be engaged, had a job, and what seemed like a good life, until the illness hit her. Agatha asked Mary questions on marriage, which Mary replied with uncertainty. Being a young mother, she lacked experience. Her kind heart gave her the best answer she could, though.
The typist has invited the young man over “expected guest”. The woman is “bored and tired,” completely un-amused by the young man. During her assault she is too complacent to react. When he leaves she barely notices “Hardly Aware of her departed lover;”. She is goes through the motions of her life with no

He then transfers me to the waiter’s number. The waiter explains that he served a couple and a close friend last night. However, during the dinner, the friend and Caroline had gotten into an altercation. The husband, on the other hand, was very quiet; all he did was smoke the tobacco pipe. The one thing that caught the waiter’s eye was a pipe that had a design of the Essex ship. The information that came across, led to a woman named Madeline Crook. She has been a close co-worker of Caroline for the past few years. I rush over to the address of Miss Crook’s home. Before I even knock, a woman with blonde hair, average height, and strong makeup swings the door open.
Maria Merryweather is a thirteen year old girl who lived in London all her life. She was considered plain, had sliver-gray eyes, reddish hair and freckles. “Maria was one of your true aristocrat; the perfection of the hidden things was even more important to her than the outward show. Not that she did not like the outward show. She did. She was a very showy little thing”(Goudge,8). Maria's mother died shortly after she was born, leaving her in the care of Miss Heliotrope. Her father was never home much, and he left such a debt that when he died all of Maria's belonging were taken away and she went
Opposite sits a beautiful blonde girl, early 20’s with green eyes. She is dressed smartly in a pencil skirt, pink conservative blouse and high heels. A tape recorder and pad reside next to her as she holds a pen whilst others are scattered close by. Yvette is a journalist. Jackson is smitten with her, although he has a wife. It’s her smart lawyer appearance that tantalises his senses when he’s around her. They met at court when she was covering his trial. He was in the RAF only 18 months before and it’s taken him till now, being in prison for 12 months to agree to be interviewed. Yvette forced her way with flirtatious letters and eventually he gave in letting her have a ‘Visiting Order’. This is their first meeting.
that she is a little bit immature, and also we will find out that she wants attention from her husband. Second is her husband who named George-he was unaware of his wife’s needs. Third is the innkeeper who sends a cat to the American girl. And last is the maid who held an umbrella over the American girl.
The guy behind the piano sang Sinatra songs and flirted with sophisticated women in sparkling dresses that flocked around him. Discrete waiters moved among the tables serving drinks to smartly dressed men that smoked cigarettes stored in shiny cigarette cases. A perfect playground for classy people and she was way out of her league. It seemed like a good idea to broaden her horizon when she followed the whim to go there, but she didn’t feel as certain any more. Most of the men were too old, the rest made her feel uncomfortable. She scanned the room one more time, judged it a hopeless case, took her purse and headed towards the door.
While it first was a symbol of her deferred dream, now, as her dream comes true, it reminds her of her own strength in working and waiting for so many years. Her dream has been deferred since she and her husband moved into the apartment that the Youngers still live in. Every day, her dream provides her with an want to make money. His death and the resulting insurance money, awakened Mama’s and showed her the first opportunity to realize her dream.
The subtle yet critical thefts of the night before take place, as so many petty thefts can, under the guise of friendship. As they leave a cocktail party together, her friend, Camilo, insists on walking her through the rain to the Elevated and in doing so ruins his hat; still, she thinks, he will “associate her with his misery” (79), as if his offer to walk her through rain puts her at fault. Roger, another artist friend, spots her on the steps to the Elevated and offers to take a taxi with her, but then borrows ten cents, a quarter of all the money she possesses, to pay his fare. Once in her apartment building, she runs into a playwright who owes her money for writing the third act of his play, but he won’t give it to her;
Amaya suddenly had goosebumps crawl over her, then left to find her parents in the store. She found them in the snack aisle, and told them about what just happened. They looked at eachother and then quietly discussed it among themselves, then told her to just forget about the lady, she was probably just crazy. But, Amaya knew they knew things they weren't telling her about the lady because ever since that
She composes in her diary that "she has a rope so that if the lady does get out, and tries to escape, she can tie her" (Gilman 187). This minute is the point at which her character is joined; the way that she wishes to tie the lady uncovers this. As opposed to longing to free the poor lady, she now anticipates catching her; in this manner demonstrating a change is occurring since her thought processes have all of a sudden changed. This switch is affirmed when she looks outside and considers "on the off chance that they all left the wallpaper as she did?" (Gilman 188). Utilizing the expression "they" suggests that where there was previously one lady, there are currently a lot of people. It's as though in this new personality she can see the world contrastingly and uncover the others like the lady in the paper. Plainly she is no more herself. Presently, in the brain of her mental trip, she starts to stress in the event that "she might need to get over behind the example when it comes night," this binds once again to her perception that the lady crawls about amid the day yet is trapped behind the bars again amid the night (Gilman 188). Presently that the wallpaper has been evacuated she has gotten away and the storyteller is allowed to withdraw into the mental trip's
It was just another regular day in New York for Brad. One could tell he was just getting off his night shift from being a custodian at the local mall, as he was wearing his raggedy uniform. Brad was walking down the sidewalk, looking filthy and greasy, when a woman caught his eye. He noticed she was wearing a pants suit with a briefcase. She had just walked out of the empire state building. “A woman with money,” he said. He noticed that she walked out of the building at exactly 11 a.m. “Tomorrow I am off work and I will meet up with her,” Brad thought. The day passed and Brad rummaged through his closet to find some of his nicest clothes so he could impress the lady. He finally found a nice dress shirt and a tie.
I thought I had seen everything until Marbella raised her nose and showed me Rudy’s master bedroom. Just the smug look on her face when she describes all the high-tech things he had in his room had me ready to scream. Oh, but when she politely informed me that the other two Room Suites (as if she didn’t’ learn the word from Rudy) were for guest when they have too much to drink after one of their dinner party they would start having. I got to work on taking what she never deserved. Besides, if anyone was going to get the hook up with someone with money and class, it was going to be her.
