Karadkar also makes a point to use stats on social media around the world to provide an appeal to logos as it gives the reader evidence to his argument. As he emphasizes on the amount of people that use social media the author informs us that “1.49 billion people use Facebook” which allows the reader to think about how many people could be negatively affected by social media(Karadkar).
