140 characters at a time, Donald Trump, the 45th president of the United States, has built his brand. He didn't get there by writing about how he will improve education or gender equality, but by bashing anyone and anything that dare come between him and the precious wall he's been dreaming all these years. Trump complains, like a teenager who's been grounded, about how unfair treatment toward him is. Just like a real teenager, he blames everyone but himself and has yet to figure out that the treatment is based on behavior, and until he doesn't behave he will continue to be grounded. He got the brand he wanted by bullying and proving to the people that he could get away with saying whatever he pleased. Twitter lets you do that. The use of Twitter is now seen as a marketing strategy for people - especially celebrities - to brand themselves and connect with the regular person. It enables them to relate with us, and we like it. Even when during the election Trump - a former business man and celebrity - went on twitter rampages, we liked it but it also signaled us about his immaturity in handling criticism and other issues. Most people expected Trump to drop the adolescent twitter act once he took office, but he had already created a brand that he couldn't just quit. Especially because the social media platform has helped shaped public opinion. We waited patiently for inauguration day, so that we could see Trump's change of voice in twitter, now he couldn't offend people
