America's infatuation with criminal cases and the convictions of convicts set the scene for shows like Criminal Minds and Law and Order. My fascination with these cases started when I was a little girl. I would research cases and trials constantly; it is the reason I want to become a criminal lawyer. The fact that one person could be sentenced to life in prison or even death based on the beliefs of 12 people is astonishing. My favorite kind of cases were the high profile ones. The ones that make the people involved really think about the circumstances. I remember sitting on the couch watching some of theses trials go down like the murder of Caylee Anthony. I want to share these cases so people can form their own opinions from the most famous cases around the world.
Crime happens everywhere we look, just watch the news for example. We believe that none of it could never happen to us, and that we are always protected. Although we think this, for these families it is reality. Our compassion and prayers can only do so much to help them. The pain that they are feeling can only be replaced by the conviction of their loved one's killer. Whether or not they are guilty must be put in the hands of the criminal justice system.
The O.J. Simpson Case One of the most notorious cases in history is the case of O.J. Simpson. O.J. Simpson was a wealthy and successful football player for the Buffalo Bills whose whole life changes on a summer night in California. In 1994 the bodies of
The most famous case of an athlete getting away with a crime is O.J. Simpson. One of the most famous running backs in American history was involved in the biggest murder scandal of them all. O.J. Simpson was accused of the murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman. No other case in recent or present time has come close to affecting the U.S. judiciary system and the media access to the courts or shaping the public perception as much as this trail has (Hayslett). This incident happened twenty-two years ago and it is still the number one talked about case.
The book that I am going to introduce is Outrage: The Five Reasons Why O.J. Got Away With Murder, written by Vincent Bugliosi, and was published on June 17, 1996. We all know that Nichole Simpson and Ronald Goldman were stabbed to death and their bodies were discovered on June 12, 1994 early morning. It was said that after a car chase, O.J. was found with $9,000 I cash, his passport, disguise, and a gun. O.J. Simpson who is her ex-husband was acquitted October 3, 1995, for their deaths in a trial that riveted the nation and divided people along racial differences. In 1997, he was ordered to pay a little over $33 million for their deaths. O.J. Simpson is still serving time in prison for things like kidnapping, robbery, burglary, assault with a deadly weapon, and numerous other charges. Mr. Bugliosi sums up five reason why the case was lost. Those five can be labeled as the jury, the change in venue or settings, the judge allowing the defense to play the race card, the stupidity of the prosecution throughout the trial, and lastly the summation of what should really have been done. But in honesty when the media started reporting about this case it was already falling apart.
The double homicide trial of O.J. Simpson may be over but the speculation of how and why he was found not guilty is still running sky high. Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman were stabbed to death outside her Brentwood townhouse on June 12 1994. Former American football star O.J. Simpson was arrested soon after the killings but insisted from the start he was "absolutely, 100% not guilty (BBC News, 1995).”
O.J. Simpson was the killer. All of the evidence in this trail pointed to him, but he could not be proven guilty. In the trial of O.J. Simpson, he was found not guilty of the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman. The court case of O.J. Simpson was a very controversial case in its time. It was a controversial case mainly because of the interference from the media. The media gave their opinions on the case and became so involved that it began to sway the opinions of the jurors and people who watched the case. There were also many other factors in how the case gained its popularity. O.J Simpson could not be proven guilty because of multiple errors by the prosecuting side and a bad presentation of evidence. The following will explain O.J. Simpson’s life, his murder trial, the problems with the case, and all of the events that came after his initial murder trial.
10:58pm Allan Park sees a shadowy figure. When asked to describe this figure, he says the person was about 6 feet tall and approximately 200 pounds walking across the driveway towards the house.
Orenthal James Simpson, as known as O.J. O.J. was accused of robbing his own memorabilia back in a Las Vegas hotel room on the night of September 13, 2007. O.J. along with a group of men were accused of breaking into the hotel room. O.J. is a retired American Football player also known for being acquitted for the murders of his Ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and friend Ron Goldman back in 1995. (2007-2008 State of Nevada v. Orenthal James Simpson)
As a crime scene investigator, there are duties that have to be met and a job that has to get done. Part of this job includes putting together reliable evidence, and making a list of suspects. As an investigator my job as of right now, is to find evidence to use against Orenthal James Simpson in the prosecution of the murder of his wife Nicole Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman. On June 12, 1994, around 10:15 P.M., Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman were brutally murdered at her house on 875 S. Bundy in Brentwood, California (Linder).
In every case a prosecution should do what it takes to show that the defendant is guilty and bring justice to their clients. This should always ring true but in the murders of Nicole Brown-Simpson, and Ron Goldman I continue to notice multiple flaws in the case. In the research conducted, I develop a negative view of the individuals that put this case together. I believe there are six mistakes that occur on the part of the prosecution, that lead to a Not Guilty verdict deciding the fate of one Orenthal James Simpson.
The murder case of Nicole Brown Simpson was and still is one of the most famous cases ever known. OJ simpson was a former NFL star and actor. He has pretty much been famous all of his life. When his ex-wife and her friend, Ronald Goldman, were found murdered outside of Nicole’s house on June 12, 1994, OJ was the prime suspect. OJ was charged with the murders, but after almost nine months of trials, he was found not guilty. The trial of OJ Simpson may have found him not guilty, but many believe that he, in fact, was guilty.
In 1995, O.J. Simpson, one of the most acclaimed National Football League players, was tried on two counts of murder. This is a case that would stay inclusive forever in the eyes of most Americans; and that would change the way America’s legal system operated. During the trial racism evolved around Simpson and multiple inferences led to an especially controversial definitive, later known as the “trial of the century.”
The trial of the former National Football League and actor, O.J. Simpson, became part of the daily lives of everyone living in the United States for almost a year. He was tried for the murder of his ex wife Nicole Simpson, and waiter Ronald Goldman, but because of his social role he managed to be acquitted. It was a trial influenced by power, wealth, and especially race, which gave Simpson advantage within the jury.
With all the evidence that was presented in court, I would honestly say that OJ Simpson was guilty for the murder of Nichole Brown and her friend Ronald Goldman . The reason why I think this is because the evidence had most of his DNA in them. Also, his reaction to the phone call informing him of Nicole Brown's death was strange and this also was evidence presented in court too. Although prosecutors had an overwhelming amount of DNA evidence against Simpson, including blood traces of the victims in his car and Nicole’s blood on a pair of his socks, the defense used technical mistakes by the forensics team to suggest contamination Although prosecutors had an overwhelming amount of DNA evidence against Simpson, including blood traces of the

Have you ever got away with something? Or done something in which people had no evidence you did it? Well if so, did you get away with it? In the O.J. Simpson case he was accused of murdering his ex wife, named Nicole Brown, by brutal beating and stabbing her. This had a lot of people wondering if he did it or not, because the two stayed in conflict with each other.
A crime being committed is the first event to initiate our criminal justice system. On June 12th 1994 a double murder was reported at the residence of Nicole Brown Simpson the ex-wife of the then beloved Orenthal James (OJ) Simpson. It was discovered that Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman had been brutally murdered and the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) began their investigation, this being the second step in our criminal justice system.
