The Panther Flying Club will utilize the Oracle Service Management family of products as our customer relationship management (CRM) system of choice for customer interaction and managing service-related information. This technology will aid the improvement all of our customer interaction and customer’s needs as well as collect information from our customers. This information will be utilized in providing information for management to direction operations to aid future marketing, sales, customer service, and customer retention requirements. In order to provide a voice for our customers and club members various customer interaction tools will be utilized: phone, email, and website. CRM software will store customer data for utilization by employees in sales, marketing, and the customer service department to aid the decision making process. Additionally E-Business process is our financial processes and asset management. The Panther Flying Club will institute Oracle, more specifically the Financial Management application, to manage the company’s assets, report and control finances, and to perform the accounting processes. Utilizing the asset management function, we will be able to monitor and schedule maintenance for our three Pilatus PC-12 NG aircraft. Oracle is the answer for a smooth, efficient running business allowing us to gain a competitive advantage (Oracle E-Business Suite, n.d.). To explain, Nighthawks was painted in 1942, right after the U.S. entered World War II. Utilizing the asset lifecycle management tool within EBS will enhance financial management of our aircraft and equipment items. It will also calculate the most efficient way to make payments on the aircraft that will maximize the use of our funds and free up income that can be used elsewhere within the budget. Many of the equipment items will require calibration from testing measurements and diagnostics equipment (TMDE) laboratories, which require scheduling and shipping coordination. For this task, the value chain execution tool would be perfect. It will line up and track the schedule of TMDE items that require calibration; once the items come due shipping will be coordinated automatically. There are plenty of applications in the Oracle E-Business Suite that the club will utilize for our E-Business, as seen in Table 3 in Appendix A
