Surviving is to continue to live or exist despite dangerous or life threatening situations. There are many circumstances that could threaten the survival of a person or a group of people. Drastic situations such as the zombie apocalypse has the potential threat to wipe out the entire human population. Survival of the apocalypse will take an individual and a group's efforts, skills, and determination to escape.
Situations will arise where the group will need a variety of tools, and supplies to survive and to approach close combat. Guns are essential to surviving a zombie apocalypse. The ability to kill a zombie from a distance is safer and than approaching the undead to perform close combat. Although it’s not apparent that a zombie apocalypse will happen or even when it may happen, It is always best to prepare for the worst. Many people believe that if the apocalypse were to occur then the government would protect them during a tragic event. People do not fear or prepare for the Zombie apocalypse because the zombies are too slow and not intelligent enough to take over the human population (Hill, Why the Zombie Apocalypse Wouldn’t Happen).
Some people believe that they are also too skilled to be killed by the undead, people believe they would be able to protect themselves if they were to come into contact with a zombie. The people that do not believe the zombie apocalypse could happen, they should be prepared if it were to happen. People prepare for tornadoes and floods because there might be a natural disaster, so this is not a different any different from one of those natural disasters. The zombie apocalypse may sound extravagant but it may occur just like a tornado or flood. It is best to be over prepared than not
