Stephen Covey was an American businessman, author, educator, and keynote speaker. “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People” is known as being his most popular work and he has since written several other books, some of which have expanded on the seven habits. “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People” does not only entertain the idea of becoming an entrepreneur and making money, but it is also a guide that can be used to find means of living a meaningful and fulfilled life. With that being said, if used correctly, the concepts that are addressed in this book can provide one with an enlightened outlook on the way that they conduct business and their personal lives in an effective manner. The first habit Being proactive means not to make choices on impulse. it means to evaluate the situation before making a desicion. for example, two years ago when i had friends that talked behind my back i just moved on and found better friends rather than be mean to them or excluding them out of my way.
