In 1933, when Adolf Hitler rose to power he set out to have world domination and to have the whole world fall under his control. He thought that he would be creating the Third Reich that would last a thousand years. And on September 1, 1939 he invaded Poland and was about to conquer the rest of Europe and have them fall to his feet and he made sure Germans had enough living space and make sure that the entire German race was taken care of. But Hitler couldn 't do it alone, he needed the help of the SS and Gestapo. Which had more power than modern military forces.
In the beginning Adolf Hitler couldn 't run all of germany by himself so he elected officials to take charge while he was worrying about taking over the world. “Heinrich Himmler who was appointed Reichsfuhrer- SS in 1929 and from its very inception he saw the SS as an elite force, as an elite unit, the party 's "Praetorian Guard," with all SS personnel selected on the principles of racial purity and unconditional loyalty to the Nazi Party” (Holocaust Education). Himmler took his job very seriously, he took barely trained bodyguards and turned them into an elite force who was know as “Schutzstaffel or SS “. There was nothing that Himmler didn 't do that impress the fuhrer,”Thanks to his control of the police Himmler was able to build up the concentration camps, in order to provide “protective custody” for political suspects.” Since Hitler and Himmler were
Once in power Hitler quickly established himself as dictator. He started hauling off thousands of anti-Nazis to concentration camps. The economy, the media, and all cultural activities were brought under Nazi authority by making an individual’s livelihood dependent on their political loyalty. His desire was to establish German rule over Europe and other parts of the world. He realized that this would lead to a European conflict and so he started his plan to conquer Europe by invading Poland in 1939 and started World War ll . The war started off good for the Germans but once the United States entered the war they started to lose. As time passed, defeat became more certain, but Hitler refused to give up. Finally with all of Germany overrun by Allied
During the 1930’s Germany was at an all time low as the worldwide economic depression hit Germany hard. The confidence in Germany from the people was lacking due to the fresh memory of their defeat in World War I. This caused great need of a new leader, someone who could give the people change, and Adolf Hitler knew he could do just that. His rapid rise to power began when he started to promise things that intrigued the German people. He promised the hopeless and needy a better life, and promised opportunities that were exactly what the people needed. This caught the attention of so many young unemployed and middle class people. His party, known as the Nazi Party, won 33 percent of the votes in the 1932 elections. And by January 1933, Hitler was appointed chancellor, which was the head of the German government. Germany started to feel like they might've found the leader they'd been so desperate for.
Adolf Hitler and his Nazi party used nationalism to great effect in Germany that spured the Second World World. After WWI, many Germans blamed the new government for accepting the unfair treaty as conditions became miserable. People who could not find jobs began to drift into the Communist and National Socialist parties established by Hitler. They decided that it was the necessary solution. In 1933, Hitler came to power as dictator of Germany and preached a racist brand of fascism. He promised to end the humiliating conditions caused by the German defeat in WWI. He knew how to win people's obedience and trust, through their fears and insecurities. He almost immediately got Germany back into the factories and began secretly building up army and weapons. His real motives were to expand German territory and dominate Europe and the whole world that became the prelude to another war.
The Nazis had taken control of the whole state. They had become the most dominant political force in almost every way of German Life. This meant that the Nazi did as they pleased. As second in command Himmler oversaw the mass murder of Jews. He organised the slaughter of millions of Jews in extermination camps in Poland. “After fainting at the sight of 100 Jews being shot on the eastern front he ordered a "more humane means" of execution the use of poison gas in specially constructed chambers disguised as shower rooms.” In 1933 Himmler became the head of the Munich police. From this position he organized the first concentration camp at Dachau and began to organize the Nazi political police throughout Germany known as the Gestapo. In the years after the Nazis seized power , Himmler built an position by taking control of the German police forces. On March 9, 1933, he was appointed president of police in Munich. he. By late 1934, Himmler had obtained command of each of the state political police departments in Germany, and had made them within a single new agency the Secret State Police (Gestapo). Himmler also had other enforcement positions in the Nazi party. He had such positions as the S.S. It served as Hitler’s secret personal bodyguards, and later became one of the most powerful and feared organizations in all of Nazi Germany. Heinrich Himmler, became head of the SS and expanded the group’s role and size. By the start of World War II , the SS had more than 250,000 members and divisions, they were engaged in activities ranging from intelligence operations to running Nazi concentration camps. The SS was deemed a criminal organization for its direct involvement in war
Hitler rose to power on 30 January 1933 and fell on 30 April 1945. He wanted to get Germany to have power again and to take over that side of the world with Austria Hungary. They would also share everything that they got. But instead Germany went into huge debt and Austria Hungary is no longer a country. Hitler was a good leader and very persuasive but he used his skills and power for something bad.
In January 1933, Adolf Hitler became the chancellor of Germany. Soon after his inauguration, Hitler’s main focus was to obtain total domination over all the political, social, and cultural activities
His control over the SS and the Gestapo as the political enforcement in Germany, led to some of the horrendous acts Himmler committed. He also organized the numerous concentration camps and death camps created during World War II that left Nazi Germany responsible for the deaths of millions of Jews and other minorities. Heinrich Himmler played a major role in the events
Heinrich Himmler was a ceremonial chief of the Waffen-SS, a leading member of the Nazi Party, and Himmler was the one of the most powerful men in Nazi Germany and one of the persons most directly responsible for the Holocaust. Himmler joined the party in 1923, and he was not a powerful leader at that time. Upon the resignation of the SS leader Erhard Heiden, Himmler was assumed as a commander of the SS by Hitler’s approval, and he carried out his duties at propaganda headquaters. His first responsibility was to organize SS participants, and over the next year, and he made the SS force bigger, 290 men to about 3000 men. And after a few years, in 1943, Himmler became a main architect of the Holocaust, after Hitler finally resolved to kill the Jews. Holocaust generally means a large scale massacre, but it is also known as a large scale massacre of Jewish people in World War2. Holocaust first became known by Himmler’s speech. To summarize the Posen speech, Himmler said “I want to address here a very difficult subject, in all openness before you. It shall be addressed among us, not in public… I am now referring to the
He was an idol to the nazis and the nazi regime the nazis were in my eyes one of the most elite armies it had been a very well regulated and very strict as well. But the Gestapo they put a whole new type of terror into this world probably how world terror was brought to the surface. The Gestapo was not a care for the civilian type of organization they wanted to know as much as they could about the resistance fighters and the allied forces so that they could find ways for the axis to beat the allied forces. When Himmler started working with the gestapo he was in my eyes the most sick, twisted, and evil mother trucker that had lead the gestapo to further achievements. The Gestapo was one of the best if not the best at what their type of business. It was astounding to me to hear they would drag civilians out of their beds while they were sleeping take the somewhere unknown to civilians and interrogate the for information. The information was considered dire to the nazi cause it helped find out when and where an enemy strike would be and how to counter it. The Gestapo were not they play fair kind of people nor were the nazis but the gestapo was a lot

In 1934 Hitler rewarded the SS for murdering the leader of the SA by making it an independant organization. Himmler was now subordinate to Hitler who was now the leader of Germany.Hitler was no longer bound by the German state, but a symbol of its future. He now had authority to act outside the law.Himmler’s subornation was the reason for the power that the SS had during the Nazi
Adolf Hitler officially took political action to advance with his plans of world domination with his creation of the Enabling Act. He took all the governmental powers away from the Reichstag and distributed them to himself and his cabinet. By creating the Enabling Act, he had given himself the ability to create doctrines, control the budget and approve treaties. Hitler removed the legal power that the German government possessed and gave it to himself which have him the upper hand in the situation. Adding onto his ignorance, he initially arrested anyone who attempted to defy the bill, proving that he would let no man get in his way. After the bill was passed, Hitler suppressed all other political alliances other than the Nazi Party, to ultimately show that the Nazi’s were the only worthy faction in Germany.
Adolf Hitler, was the leader of the Nazi Party, President of Germany for 12 years, and also a crazy power seeking human being who saw himself as a god. I will be explaining more of the subject throughout my essay beginning to end. In 1936 Adolf Hitler with the help of Joseph Goebbels, Hermann Goering, and Heinrich Himmler, all began to annex the neighboring countries of Austria and Czechoslovakia. Soon after, Hitler made a pact with Stalin, dictator of the Soviet Union. The Non-Aggression Pact that would allow Hitler to invade Poland.
Germany was left leaderless and was falling apart. The once glorious Fatherland was turning into the “ghetto” country of the world. Because Germany was still left with war crimes from the First World War, and about a decade later Germany and a lot of the world was affected by a worldwide Great Depression. Hitler started gaining high respect of the German people and saw that the country was leaderless. He took the role as the most persuasive and bold figure that Germany needed at the time of great need. Hitler built Germany up from a “ghetto” to an almost “perfect” country. At the time he had formed a top of the line army that was looked at as one of the best armies in the world. He was hungry for more power and a lot more land.
Before in 1923 Hitler and others of Kampfbund tried to seize power in Munich, Bavaria, and Germany. This was known as the Beer Hall Putsch. Ruler of Germany from 1934 to1945 and leader of the National Socialist German Workers Party, known as the Nazi Party were trying to take control. Hitler took advantage of Germanys economic hardships and of the citizens after world war I to get followers, then finally just taking control of the country. Hitler had a very useful skill he was a persuasive speaker and his willingness to use violence to get what he wanted. (1)
