Artist are very interesting people who are different in his or her own way. They are very creative in what they do. They do not only relate their work to their feelings, or different times in their lives, but also to different era.
2. The painting that I choose from the book was “The Starry Night”, by Vincent van Gogh.
In the painting the artist labored to express his personal feelings as he stood on the outskirts of a small village in France looking up at the night sky. Seem through the prism of this idea, the landscape inspired in him a vision of great intensity. Surrounded by halos
Invader is a French artist however his name is unknown and his appearance is also unknown. He makes his art during the night and wears a mask. His artwork project “Space invaders” has been ongoing since 1998 and he is slowly expanding where his art is placed in the world.
A lucent crescent of the moon is seen on the top right hand corner of the painting where dramatic contours and fluidity of the brushworks are seen due to the Japonisme influences. Moreover, the eleven stars and the rolling hills are depicted moving to the momentum of the swirling sky.
Since the beginning of time, artists have labored extensively to find innovative ways to convey sentiment, passion, and feeling. Telling stories and trying to unlock the minds of people through different avenues of artistic labors. Art touches and affects people in unique ways; it can have special or unusual meaning on the person depending on how one views it. Artists’ rendering of their art is interpreted in numerous ways by others who view it unless it is explained by the artist on its meaning giving a clear example of what they are portraying. Two people looking at the same painting, sculpture, portrait, or photo may come to different views on the arts meaning even though they are looking

Art is defined as "The expression or application of human (showing the ability to create interesting new things) skill and imagination, usually in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated mostly for their beauty or emotional power." It is communicated in huge numbers of branches of (showing the ability to create interesting new things) activity, some of these include music, painting, dance and books. Although, there should be no fixed definition of art as it is different for each person. People try too hard to find the definition and can sometimes forget to appreciate the effect that it has on their lives. Artists approach art in many ways and styles. Chuck Close approaches art in a realistic way while Jean-Michael Basquiat produces more fuzzy and unclear works.
Starry Night, by Vincent van Gogh, shows a mellow sky being illuminated by the bright yellow stars, hovering over a gloomy figure. Vincent purposely illustrated
Starry Night Over the Rhône: The painting can be interpreted as “two color figures of lovers.” The painting can bring a cheerfulness to individuals who are either in love or married. This painting shows Van Gogh's own interpretation of light and darkness. Even if Van Gogh's intentions were to have
If I had to pick a piece of art I would pick the painting Starry Night. This piece of art was painted by Van Gough and hangs in the Museum of Art in New York. I relate this particular piece of art to a moment in time when I would travel to New Jersey in the summers and explore the city of New York. One day my mom and the friends we stayed with decided to visit the Museum of Art since my mom’s an art major we were always doing things like this. I saw many pieces of art, but there was a particular painting that caught my eye Starry night. So many beautiful paintings were hung, but Starry Night always makes me relate, and think of the time spent in New York.
Well-known artist Vincent van Gogh created the painting, Starry Night in 1889 during the impressionism movement. Starry Night is a very popular piece of artwork and holds much meaning. Van Gogh’s choice of medium was oil paint where he famously exhibited his impasto technique on the canvas. Starry Night was an exceptional way to demonstrate how emotions can be conveyed through the stroke of a brush and pigments used. This famous masterpiece was created while he was restricted to the Saint-Remy Asylum. Starry Night came to be one of the last major paintings he ever created and one of artworks earliest examples of expressionism. This popular work of art exhibits a variety of objects, moods, and atmospheric feelings. Through the use of texture, color, and descriptive objects, Van Gogh popular piece will forever be remembered for its endless beauty and mystery.
The Starry Night is believed by many to be the view from his room while staying at an asylum in Saint Remy. Van Gogh has used many objects within the painting to display his feelings; a church steeple rises up in the middle front of the painting possibly to reflex his emotions for religion. One may even view the stars and night sky
In 1889, Vincent Van Gogh painted Starry Night while staying at the asylum of Saint-Paul-de-Mausole. He painted the Starry Night while looking out the window of his room in the asylum. Though the art is portrayed at night he actually paint this during the day. Today, the Starry Night painting outshines the artist because of how well known it is. It is seen on everything from blankets, to coffee cups, to phone cases the starry night is everywhere. Starry night’s form is sporadic in the way he uses different lines and textures. When looking at the sky he uses quick strokes in a swirling pattern, it's almost as though he is being rushed, trying to get his ideas on the canvas before they are forgotten. Then when he gets to the hills the strokes are more rolling and longer.
My favorite image from the book is Starry Night, by Vincent Van Gogh. According to the reading on Page 417, and I what I know from previous research, Van Gogh has always used his paintings as a way to express his emotional sorrow. It would seem that Van Gogh wanted us to view the world as he did. Van Gogh was a very disturbed man, but his emotional instability brought about a many of remarkable paintings. It is important to mention that Starry Night, was painted on more than one occasion. He painted the same scene during different times of the day under different weather conditions. It’s just the one that is most famous to us is the one that was publicized, as this is the one that he painted just two days before he shot himself.
An artist 's psyche can 't be placated by the ordinary or carried on by business as usual; it is parched to search out the human condition and to look profound into individuals ' characters.
“Starry Night” is one of the most popular canvasesin modern-day philosophy along with being one of the most simulated and pursued after images. This painting was done by Vincent van Gogh when he was at an asylum in Saint-Remy in 1889.It is said that this painting is a view out of Van Gogh’s asylum window. The painting shows swirling clouds in a starry night and a bright crescent moon, overlooking perhaps a village. This shows a contrast between the bright night sky and the silence of the village which is supposed to be Van Gogh’s hometown Netherland. The painting also consists of a cypress tree which is typically found in graveyards . This might have something to do with the artist’s perception of the inevitability of death and how close
The history of art dates back to ancient times. Artwork can be, and was, found around the world. What makes art interesting is that it can be created in any way, shape or form with any materials. It seems that the artwork can also tell us a lot about the artist. Art seems to be simply, a direct, visual reflection of the artist’s life. Therefore, one can assume that an artist’s life experiences and beliefs directly influence their art. If we look at examples from different periods of art we will be able to see the connection between the artist and the art.
