The United States of America consists of 50 states governed on a federal level, as well as a state level. The population of the United States is 318 million people of mixed races and heritage. Although the population is predominantly of European descent, the country has been a welcoming beacon to immigrants from virtually every country and culture in the world. English is the predominant language, although languages from many foreign countries are spoken within cultural enclaves throughout the U.S.

Originally Native Americans lived in the lands now known as the United States for thousands of years. In the 1600’s European settlers began coming over to settle the lands. In 1776 congress formed the United States of America and wrote the Declaration of Independence. In 1789 the constitution was written and in 1791 the Bill of Rights. Through numerous wars with Britain the Americas won there independence (May, 2002).
The United States is a republic based on a constitution. There is the President who is the top
Cultures using hyphenated forms of “American,” such as Mexican-American, African-American, Asian-American, Native-American and many more is a step in the right direction for culture acceptance. With this positive move in the world, there could be a change in how cultures view themselves, leading to how others view them. The multicultural society has to take into account for this change because without their acceptance it would just be hate. Bharati Mukherjee in her essay “American Dreamer,” asserts, “WE MUST BE ALERT TO THE DANGERS OF AN ‘US’ vs. ‘THEM’ MENTALITY.” Although Mukherjee has a great point here, I have to disagree. I don’t feel that we have to be aware of the ‘US’ versus ‘THEM’ mentality with the change in cultural acceptance.
led by the Sons of Liberty: opened 342 chests of tea and dumped them into the Boston Harbor (dressed up as Native Americans)

The Southern States of America was made up of the following, Georgia with Atlanta as the Capital of the new union, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Mississippi, South Carolina, Louisiana, Tennessee and Kentucky. Although, Kentucky wasn’t a sure bet at this point, there was still a lot of work to do in that state.
The 113th Congress has been considered as the worst congress in the history of the United States. The highly polarized institution showed its inefficiency when dealing with the fiscal budget. By failing to pass a new budget, the American government shutdown for a couple of weeks. One of the leading causes of disagreement between the two parties was the extension of the debt ceiling limitation. The government is accruing more and more debt every year, and not passing a budget could eventually lead to a default on American loans. Although the 113th congress resolved their issues during the 16 days of shutdown, they ultimately postponed the battle till the next year. In my paper, I will explain the background of S.540, the Temporary Debt Limit Extension Act, who introduced it and how each party opposed each other on this bill. This bill went through a yearlong journey starting in the Senate and ending on the president’s desk. I will then conclude by evaluating the proposed bill and explain why it was signed and enacted as a law.

Does the United States of America actually get the media it deserves? This is a crucial question for not only U.S. citizens to be asking themselves, but the media personnel as well. If a country’s media is not efficiently and effectively providing its citizens with news stories, there is a huge problem at hand. While the media thrives off of breaking news stories, it’s generally the minute details that grab the attention of viewers. In essence, the minute details are what makes a breaking news story a truly breaking news story. If the media withholds certain details from a story, which happens daily, they are depriving the viewers of “real news.” Due to this, American citizens often times do not get the news they deserve.
The U.S. seeks to provide for its security by stopping the proliferation of nuclear weapons. We have led internationally to levy economic sanctions against Iran. Our diplomatic efforts have already halted Iran’s nuclear program. The United States has an enduring interest in freedom of navigation and overflight as well as the safety and sustainability of the air and maritime environments. We are seeking stability in the Middle East, ensuring the free flow of energy from the region to the world while promoting democracy and upholding human rights. We will carry out this through investing in the ability of Israel, Jordan, and our Gulf partners to deter aggression while maintaining our unwavering commitment to Israel’s security, including
The United States does have fluorite deposits of its own, but most of the fluorite used for commercial use is imported from various countries with only very small amounts being mined from within the US. From 2011-2014 the major fluorite producers included, in order of largest US import percentage: Mexico (76%), China (11%), South Africa (8%), and Mongolia (3%). The countries with the largest production and reserves respectively of fluorspar in order of thousands of metric tons are: China (3,800, 24,000), Mexico (1,100, 32,000), Mongolia (375, 22,000), and South Africa (200, 41,000) [8]. Fluorspar is commonly found as vein or replacement deposits and as additions to other minerals and rock formations such as granite, carbonate, and alkaline rock which are mined using both underground and open pit mining methods. The most economically viable and widely used of these methods is vein mining, which produces some of the highest grades of fluorspar [9]. Before discussing the mining methods used, some key terms will be defined for reference.
The United States of America (U.S.) is a nation built of immigrants. These immigrants brought many diverse languages to the U.S.. I classify third parties as either a trade ally, a country with which the US maintains strong trading relationships, or a trade adversary, a country that either does not or has low levels of trade with the US. I determine this value from the balance of trade figures maintained by the US Department of Commerce Bureau of Economic Analysis and the US Census Bureau.
The United States (U.S.) is the third largest country in the world with a population of more than 320 million. It consists of 50 states, and is one of the most culturally diverse countries in the world. The United States is known as a nation of immigrants, as people from all over the world have migrated to the country over the years, in particular people from the northern part of Europe, a majority of them being the English who have populated the country from as early as the 1600s. These people were the ones who, together with the Native and Latin Americans, Africans and Asians, shaped the values and traditions that became the ruling culture of the United States.
The United States of America is objectively one of the greatest countries in the world. The unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are part of the first sentence in the preamble of one of the greatest documents contrived in the nation’s short history: the Declaration of Independence (1. archives.gov). Also in that sentence is the decree that it is self-evident all men are created equal (1). While it was scribed with good intentions, it has become self-evident that all people are not created equal in the minds of many. The topics of race, gender, religion, and ethnicity spark much conflict in the realm of social inequality, but one topic that is not talked about as often as the others is that of economic inequality. Due to millions of Americans starting their adult lives saddled with debt, the prominent wealth gap already established, and many institutions being set up to prey on the money of the masses, it is quite clear that economic inequality is not going to decline anytime soon.
