Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton were two powerhouses that influenced the history of America, in times of desperate independence. Although having opposing views on the government and how American citizens should be governed, they both had the best interest for the future of America in their minds. No decision, no opinion and no statement made by them was of ill intent towards America, and every step they took towards a better nation was driven by heart. Even in today's current times, the names of these men are still heard out of the mouths of our leaders and influential people. John F. Kennedy, the 35th President of the United States acknowledged the outstanding contributions Thomas Jefferson made towards the bettering of our fine nation. The names of these two very different leaders, will always be known in the history of America, and will never be forgotten because of their determination towards a way of life they strived for America. Their views are later seen in the future regarding the way people of society should be run. This is why history and people of history are essential to times of today because implications of their time arise in moderation. We learn from the mistakes of the past, and maker better ones to improve the quality of life itself, and take bigger steps towards a glorified nation.
