It is evidently by the graph that the amount of sassy comments significantly decreased over the three week programme. The programme had an average of 10.7 sassy remarks per day compared to the baseline data of 15.5, this shows an average decrease of 4.8 sassy comments. Consequently, the programme data greatly fluctuates over the three weeks with the maximum number of sassy comment made during the three week period was fifteen and the minimum was six. Unmistakeably, there are several trends, both of which are also seen in the baseline data. Firstly, the general trend of sassy comments decreases towards the end of the week and during the weekend (Friday to Sunday) similar to that of the baseline data. In addition, my sassy comments largely peak …show more content…
Comparing the two data’s, the baseline data had a positive correlation of 0.4048 whereas the programme data had a negative correlation of -0.1513. This signifies that for the baseline data for my sassy comments had a general increase in trend, in contrast to the programme data were it had a negative trend. Although, the -0.1513 is a relatively weak decrease compared to a reasonably moderate increase of 0.4048, it nevertheless demonstrates a small effectiveness of the programme. As seen on the graph, the blue line (baseline data) is largely above the yellow line (programme date) in an upward trend whereas the yellow line gradually declines. It is highly difficult to factor out the antecedents that influence my behaviour; therefore understanding those factors is the second best option. I have noted that my mood affects my amount of sassiness each day and that midweek my mood significantly decreases and then increases in late week. Although, it impacts my data greatly it is too difficult to change these controlling factors. A solution to the problem would be to control the amount of people I see, thus, controlling my sassiness. Generally, I only express sassy comments as a response to a cheeky or somewhat vacuous question/comment made by an acquaintance. Henceforth, restricting the amount of people I see midweek when my sassiness peaks due to antecedents, such as mood, would to some
Due to both the independent and the dependent variable being continuous I have chosen to use a correlation coefficient test to check for covariation between the two variables. Here the correlation coefficient is -0.2004, which indicates that there is a negative relationship between total family income and feelings towards congress. In layman’s terms that translates to the higher your income the more coldly you feels towards congress. These results are considered to be statistically significant because our data chart shows there to be a p-value of 0 which falls below the necessary F = 0.0000
There are 3 quasi trends which are boiling point, melting point, and density and 3 periodic trends which are atomic mass, high specific heat, and electronegativity. The trends that are periodic increase or decrease as they go up or down the group or period. The quasi trends have regular and irregular trends which in one group it could increase or decrease and have a another group that has an irregular trend that in a group can increase and decrease.
The Barbie Bungee lab was conducted in order to find the association between the amount of rubber bands and the distance the Barbie bungeed. Before performing the final experiment, the group conducted an initial investigation to get data that could be analyzed to examine the comparison from the amount of rubber bands to the length Barbie was able to bungee. In the investigation rubber bands would gradually be added one by one starting at two rubber bands. Each time a rubber band was added, three trial bungees were done and the lengths the barbie dropped were recorded. Using data collected from our background investigation, the group used excel to create a sheet displaying the data in a table, a graph showing the correlation constant, the line of best fit. The line of best fit was in slope-intercept form (y=mx+b) where y represents the length of the trial average; m represents the slope

The research I did all seemed to point to similar problems. My obsessive attitudes were causing more problems than
The problem, however, is endemic to the entire genre, which is built on smug overacting, and which celebrates as a virtue the practice of caustically putting down rivals and sarcastically mocking friends. In each of these programs, everyone is endlessly ridiculing everyone else in order to showcase their own playful impudence, thereby equating coolness with smart-assery. Such verbal bluster is matched by hip-shaking, shoulder-shrugging physical posturing and exaggerated facial expressions that are equally repellent, so that an episode of, say, Jesse -- which is populated by a multicultural cast of Red Bull–hyper tykes -- is a crash course in precocious rudeness, and a veritable competition of put-down
During the great recession era that began in late-2007 and lasted until mid-2009, the labor market took a major loss. The reasons that caused the labor market to plummet during this time frame were due to unemployment, a decrease in income and lack of education. Despite the efforts from the government to help as much as possible, the labor market had taken the worst hit and was at its lowest since the last three decades. It is important for everyone to understand what a weak labor market can result in. In this paper, I will discuss these findings and what impact they had on the labor market to weaken it to such a low point.
In 2008, the housing market crashed and America fell into a recession. Many Americans lost their homes. Many investors lost large sums of money, and overall the economic recession hurt America as a whole. Today, we see that the stock market is more regulated than it was in 1929 with the Great Depression and 2008 with the Great Recession, but it is still not regulated as much as it previously was. In 1999, portions of the Banking Act of 1933, more commonly known as the the Glass-Stegall Act, were repealed. The repeal of the Glass-Stegall Act in 1999 sparked the Housing Crisis of 2005 and ultimately led to the Great Recession that America experienced in the 2000’s.
SUMMARY- Lauren Tarshis in the article, Is Facebook Making You Mean? published in September 5, 2011 addresses the topic of social media and asserts that it can have an affect on how we act towards one another, online and in the real world. In this article, Tarshis gives an example of how social media affects our behavior. In this example with Anna and Maya, one person comments on a photo based on the comments of others, which hurt the person who posted it initially. When the picture was first posted, the comments were nice, but after a while, when one person said something insulting or mean, so did others. Some did this because the others were doing it and did not think it was that serious because it was joking. But, it did end up hurting the
The single greatest problem facing America today would be the threat of a Recession in the stock market. Because if America goes in to Recession again the stock market will crash again. Then we would not need to worry about this stupid war because we will be broke.
In this paper, I will explain the roles and importance of the Business cycle Dating committee of the National Bureau of Economic Research. I will also explain how the NBER defines and dates recessions. Finally I will explain the important aspects and effects of the last recession.
Animals of all kind are going extinct and dieing out. “One May 19, 2010, at Joint Base Balad, north of Baghdad, Iraq someone brought U.S service member Jonathan Trouern-Trend a frog in a plastic bottle.” Trouern-Trend was a animal guy and interested in the conservation of animals. Before releasing the frog Trouern-Trend took a picture of the frog snd sent it to iNaturalist, which connects people to sightings of animals, plants, and other organisms online. Users of iNaturalist told Trouern-Trend he found a lemon-yellow tree frog the app informed him that scientists had not recorded that type of frog outside of Kurdistan. Since Trouern-Trend sent a picture to iNaturalist the species known range has expanded. This is some of the good that can

Whatever the direction for the future, we will still be faced with the question of explaining the 1990s reversal, which our analyses have shown had little basis in any structural or broader ideological changes in American society. Instead, we need to explain period changes with changes in period events: the rise and decline of feminist and antifeminist movements; the shifts in popular culture, especially the rise of a new cultural frame that incorporates traditional gender roles without implying
Do attitudes predict behaviour? It is not easy to find the correct answer to this question. The relationship between attitudes and behaviour is one of the most controversial topics in social psychology. This essay explores whether attitudes can predict behaviours using two of theories of behaviour change: Cognitive Dissonance theory (Festinger, 1957) and Self-Perception Theory (Bem, 1965, 1967).
