Well you probably will most likely clean your cuts and scrapes with cool water. Then, you will use a soft washcloth to clean the surrounding skin around the wounds. Lastly, you will put a bandage or two on the wounds to prevent an infection.
Australia is accountable for around one third of mammal extinctions worldwide. Many Australian animals are at risk of extinction with at least 10 species that have been labelled extinct since European colonisation. The thylacine is only one of these species. Its extinction was an important part of Australian history that shows how destructive the human race can be. Although thylacines were officially labeled extinct in 1936 (50 years after the last seen thylacine's death), scientists have discovered that 2,000 years ago, in mainland Australia, thylacines were near-extinct and even earlier in Papa New Guinea. Originally, the government encouraged people to hunt these animals and paid bounties. There are over 2000 thylacines that had died this horrific way. Only few thylacines were found after the bounty was lifted in the early 1900s.
Thylacoleo carnifex or 'Marsupial Lion', weighing at around 120 kg, was the largest mammalian predator in Australia. The megafauna was found Thylacoleo was capable of grasping or slashing its prey with the long sharp claws on its semi-opposable thumb, then stabbing with its large incisor teeth. These animals were common across most of Australia during the Pleistocene period. They became extinct about 50,000 years ago.
I am Ms. Simpson and my child Ta’Quarius is in your classroom and I am emailing you to inform you that he’s allergic to peanuts, he cannot have anything with or made with peanuts. I have spoken with the school nurse and the administrators about this. So, I am reaching out to you because as a teacher myself, I know and understand that children do share things, I am hoping that his classmates will understand how important it is for them not to share any foods with him unless they bring it to your attention first before doing so. Ta’Quarius is not to have any type of foods that contains peanuts.
Do you believe in vaccination? When was the last time you were vaccinated? I think all people should be vaccinated. Vaccines are very effective and safe. Vaccinations protects people you care about, including family members, friends, and grandparents. If children are too young to be vaccinated or to people with weakened immune cells, such as transplant recipients and people with cancer. Long-term complications and even death can occur for these vulnerable people if they are exposed to they diseases.
Imagine, if you would, a small infant being rushed to the hospital; Her parents are desperately crying out for help as she is starting to turn blue. She is coughing so violently that she can no longer breathe. The sounds of the infant gasping for air fills the room. She was recently diagnosed with pertussis and it has progressed so quickly that now she is in respiratory failure. She is rushed to the intensive care unit where doctors and nurses rush around her in chaos. She is starting to crash, so they place a tube down her throat, an IV line into her head, before finally placing her onto a machine that will mechanically breathe for her. They maneuver around her limp body as they do everything they can to try and save her life. Her future is unknown because pertussis is dangerous and can be fatal. This could have been prevented if she had been vaccinated. Vaccines for children should be mandatory. It will prevent them from suffering through the long-lasting effects of diseases and even death. Vaccines were developed to save lives.

During this time and period, vaccination has become an emotionally charged health issue among many families. Anti-vaccination groups believe that vaccines cause birth-defects and autism in young children, and many families are scared to get their children vaccinated. Studies have shown to disprove these side-effects to vaccination, however, parents are still not convinced and refuse to get their children vaccinated. Therefore, the Center for Disease Control organized an advertisement campaign to promote positive messages such as "Spread music. Not Flu.", "Shots aren't just for kids.", and "The FLU ends with U" to encourage vaccination.
In the continuing battle to address substance use disorders around the nation, medical specialists are confronted with the eternal debate in how to best treat those who are suffering. So by now you’ve probably seen the ads and billboards, especially in and around New York and Philly, for Vivitrol.
So what is codeine? Codeine is a sleep-inducing and analgesic drug derived from morphine, which according to the Drug and Alcohol Foundation is a part of a group of drugs known as opioids. Opioids are depressant drugs, which means they slow down the messages travelling between the brain and the body. Other opioids include heroin, morphine and oxycodone. Could you image a world where you can buy drugs legally? Where something like Heroin was readily available on the shelf at pharmacies for you to purchase? It wouldn’t happen, so why should Codeine be any different, as they are both in the same classification of opioids.
About six years ago, my father passed away after several years of deteriorating health. He was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease (pd), however, it was not Parkinson's that killed him, but the side effects of the drugs he was prescribed that eventually led to his death. Each year an estimated forty million people are made sick by the medicines prescribed to them. A big segment of people is having adverse reactions to medicines being given and how they are being prescribed.
There has recently been a lot of controversy regarding vaccinations and whether or not they are safe and necessary. I am writing to inform you and the readers that being properly vaccinated is crucial to the health of society. Being vaccinated protects the person receiving the vaccination and their family members, helps to prevent the start and spread of an epidemic, and can aid in protecting future generations.

Well that disruption was the Blue Angels!!! The Blue Angels home base is located in Pensacola, which is a big deal for all Pensacolians. This weekend the Blue Angels will be at the 57th Chicago Air & Water Show. I plan to partake in this event. Let me know if you interested in joining me. See the link below.
(I have talked about early detection, but what if it is too late? What if you are already a victim?)
