To find the training needs of faculty and students, I had to conduct a survey to know their needs for training and it was done through interview and questionnaire.
To find the training given to various other institute of same level, I also visited the nearby same level institutes.
During my training, I had to find out the training needs at SIADS. I passed through various stages of problems and difficulties to accomplish the task of project work but it was a privilege for me to take this opportunity and challenging work to study and observe different level of people. TATA MOTORS recognizes that leadership is essential for survival in competitive environment; Customer 's satisfaction, like quality is a journey and not a destination. It is essential that everyone in the company should be properly trained and developed.. While regular training is necessary for ensuring prosperity of the company, it must also be recognized that ability of the company to satisfy its employees would depend on its ability to continuously improvement of individuals..

The success of any organisation inevitably depends very largely on the staff it employs. It is necessary to ensure an adequate supply of staff members that are technically and socially competent, and capable of career advancement into specialist departments or management positions. There is therefore a continual need for the process of staff learning and development, and training fulfils an important part of this process (Mullins, 2007).
The value of a needs assessment in an organization is important since they are used for the driving force behind staff member’s job abilities. When a needs assessment is done correctly, it will and can determine who needs trainings and what types of trainings and the length. “The identification of training needs is the first step in a uniform method of instructional design.” (Training needs analysis, 2010) There are costs associated with trainings so offering trainings to employees who do not need it is a waste of time and money to a company.
TATA motors has been a pioneer in indian automobile sector for more than the 60 years, established in 1945 ,today it is valued at over USD 40 Billion.The company now has its presence in almost every continent around the globe ,in about 175 countries.It currently caters to 3 market segments The passenger cars, Utility vehicles and commercial vehicles
What is a training program? A training program are programs created for teaching employees in particular skills. Employee training is an essential in maintaining a great staff and keeping everyone communicating. Having a training program that is well created to establish and achieve maximum results. The requirements of the training program are recognized during a training needs analysis (TNA). When a training program is executed properly, it would increase total production and provide the understanding, skills and approaches the employee would need to have a successful performance. One manner this can be done is through a training needs assessment, which provides the goal of helping to improve employee job performance. A training needs assessment is broken into three specific areas: organization analysis, task analysis, and personal analysis. The first area deals with what type of environment, strategies, and resources are needed to help determine where to emphasize training. The second deals with what kind of activities are needed to be performed in order to determine the KSOAs needed. To summarise the informal interviews with trainers it has become apparent that these individuals also need a level of training to better the departmental training in which they provide to others. To be able to cater for different needs and change plans in order to meet deadlines. To work with other trainer and provide a consistent program that is both effective and efficient.
Training Purpose: The training will take place in an classroom at the University. The purpose is to teach supervisors to encourage workers, and show them ways to empower them in order to increase productivity. During training supervisors will learn tactics on how to decide when is the ideal time to steadily give employees more empowerment within their job. They will also learn about job enlargement to increase productivity and motivation, and how to tell when the maximum amount of enlargement has been met.
