In order to consider the significance of German History, we must consider the different ways in which the Treaty of Versailles was significant. The Treaty of Versailles was significant. The treaty was primarily significant for the peace document signed at the end of World War I by the allied and associated powers and by Germany in the Hall of Mirrors in the Palace of Versailles, France, on June 28, 1919; it took force on January 10,1920. The treaty was very moderately significant event.
