It was a warm fall day in New York the red and yellow leaves were falling from the tall trees by the road, Logan and Jett are on their way home. They got home and the New York News was on, they saw that the first Twin Tower has been hit. "Come on! Jett, we have to go now! " Logan broadcasted. Logan rushes out of the house with Jett right behind him. "Jett! Wait out here, don’t go! I fell like something bad is going to happen," Logan screamed. "See if you can get those people to calm down." Logan stares at the first twin tower watching the large blazes of fire stretch out of the broken glass windows. " Its getting ready to collapse Jett " as Logan screamed in fear. "What are we going to do? There is not enough time to save everybody." All the sudden Logan looks up and sees people jumping out of windows, so their lungs won't get filled up with smoke. …show more content…
They don’t need another plane to hit the second twin tower they cant even get in the first twin tower right now with out getting blown up or burned by the fire. As Jett sat on the side walk waiting on Logan to come out of the building. Jett sees somebody running out of the twin tower, but he was disappointed because it wasn’t Logan. Jett knows it would be dangerous to go in but he needs to check on Logan. As Jett walked in he saw Logan and he was saving peoples lives but he saved everybody that they could but there wasn’t enough time to save everybody . But Jett and Logan and a few other people made it out
Smoke and flames were spewing out of gaping holes bored by American Airlines’ Boeing 767 that crashed between the 93 and 99 floors on the North face of the 110- story building. Each of the North Tower floors were roughly an acre. The top 20 floors engulfed in flames, he was staring at a 20- acre fire raging 90 stories above. He thought in his head that, This is the most unbelievable sight I’ve ever seen. Meldrum parked the fire truck on the West Street in front of the
“Hey, are you okay?” I heard even though my ears were still covered. I looked up and saw Logan standing there, concern written all over his face. His girlfriend would be pissed. I lowered my hands and nodded. “Yeah. . . I'm fine.” It wasn't very convincing and he looked at me
A Boeing 767 containing approximately twenty thousand gallons of jet fuel flew into the North tower of the World Trade Center in New York City on a pristine morning at 8:45 a.m. on September 11, 2001. The collision left a giant opening close to the eightieth floor of the one hundred ten story skyscraper, abruptly ending hundreds of people’s lives and trapping hundreds more in the floors above. As the evacuation of the tower and its twin- the South Tower- got underway by the local authorities, television news channels broadcasted live images of what at first appeared to be a freak accident. Then, eighteen minutes after the initial plane crashed into the tower, a second Boeing 767–United Airlines Flight 175–appeared out of the sky, turned sharply
I wake up in the morning in my apartment in LA. I turn on the TV and I couldn’t believe my eyes and ears. I was watching live cable news and there was a lot of coverage. I saw that the plane crash into the twin towers. I was frozen and tried to catch each word from the news broadcaster. It felt like a movie, it was unbelievable and unrealistic. They showed a lot of smoke coming from the buildings. It was very chaotic when they shot it up close there were people calling for help, screams,
Hundreds of fire fighters from all over the city were in the twin towers trying to guide all personels to safety. Firefighters had to carry 65 pounds of equipment on their backs and somehow needed to get to the 70 floor. This meant that it would take them over an hour to get to the floor because the elevators were down and one minute was needed per flight of stairs. What's bad is that they were only capable of getting to the 34th floor before evacuation was the next prime goal and every situation only got worse for everyone: the South tower collapsed completely. That seemed to be the only update for the people in towers because of the shocking BOOM sound. They weren’t aware of what hit them, and they weren’t even aware of the South tower attack. People inside were so oblivious to where people on the other side of the world new more of what had

ZOOM! BAM! CRASH! The Twin Towers have just been hit! Run for cover! “They were the tallest buildings in New York City, and for a brief period upon their completion, they were the tallest buildings in the world.”
American Airlines Flight 77 circled over Washington, D.C., and soon slammed right into the Pentagon military headquarters around 9:45 a.m. Due to the immense jet fuel, most of the building collapsed. “All told, 125 military personnel and civilians were killed in the Pentagon, along with all 64 people aboard the airliner.” As this devastating site was being broadcasted all over America, the horror in New York took place. The south tower of the World Trade Center immediately collapsed into smoke. Due to the burning jet fuel, the structure of the skyscraper couldn’t withstand the heat. Less than a half hour later, the other tower of the World Trade Center collapsed. There was close to
Imagine getting on your flight when it turns around, off course, and crashes into a building, killing millions of people. With The Twin Towers, a plane crashed into them and killed the people in the building and the people on the plane. September 11th 2001, was when two hijacked planes crashed into the Twin towers and knocked them down.
The two strolled over to Malia’s apartment. It was a one bedroom studio, but it was better than nothing. It was around midnight when breaking news emerged from the television in the corner of the room by the window. A feeling of shock filled the room in a matter of seconds when a message filled the
There was a dead silence, then everyone jumped up and ran to the door. Ted a skilled fire fighter called,
It felt like days had gone by before they actually started to go at work. By this time it seemed like the whole neighborhood was around my house watching as it took its last breaths. The yellow jackets finally climbed onto the enormous ladder that led to the rooftop, I heard a loud noise thinking it was the storm coming back to finish what it had started. Though it was just a chainsaw that the firefighters were using to cut open holes in my roof. My mom stared in horror, trying to keep it together, but a few tears slipping on her cheek as she watched her house crumble down right in front of her.
“Twin Towers”, the tallest building in the world at the time, were built between 1975- 1985, with a total construction cost of $400 million. The towers were located in the World Trade Center, a large commercial complex of seven buildings. On the morning of September 11, 2001, Al-Qaeda members hijacked two Boeing 767 jets into both towers. I vividly remember that dreadful day, I was working in a doctor’s office when my boss received a call from her mother. I can remember her trembling voice screaming: “We are under attack”. Immediately, we turned on the television and that was when we saw the images of the North tower covered in flames
But even so, both towers collapsed in less than an hour and a half. Many have heard the phrase “jet fuel can’t melt steel beams”, and this is true. Steel melts at around 1,500 degrees while a jet fuel fire can only burn at a maximum of around 1,300 degrees. Firefighters and men and women from clean up crews also said that they found pools of molten metal at the bottom of the site. For this to happen, the steel would need to be warmed to over 2,000 degrees, which is not even close to that of a jet fuel
"Look, I just want you to shut up and let me focus on the situation we are currently having," Katie mumbles as she approaches the impact doors that leads to a weird-looking
