In this world, there are two types of people. Conformists and non-conformists. Non-conformists do not like to follow people’s path and more likely would prefer to create his or her own path and let others follow them. Being a non-conformist is not easy because there would be many people who would disagree with your one’s beliefs or practices and one of the reasons why to that is people do not like changes. They prefer to keep things stay the same as long as it is not broken followed by the phrase, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. Although, a non-conformist might argue that it is necessarily to keep certain traditions or practices that we think are important. Then again, if we do not try out new things or look at something in a different way. How could we ever improve ourselves to become a greater individual? Donald Trump, a businessman from New York who is currently running for president as a republican for the United States. Unlike other presidential candidates, Trump’s attitude and beliefs were much different when he delivered his speech. He was extremely aggressive towards other candidates, uncaring, spoke for whatever in his mind, and really know how to influence people. In many of Trump’s speeches, he repeatedly mentioned that we should stop worrying about being “politically correct” because we do not have time for that. Not to mention, Trump was the person who brought up the illegal immigration topic while other candidates did not seem really happy to talk about it
Throughout history, many have tried to break away from society's norms in an attempt to live life more fully, one example would be Rosa Parks when she stood up for her rights and didn't move to the back of the bus like society has shaped the laws back then. As a result of this incident, Parks ended up getting arrested and sent to court for not following the law. In contrast, some may choose to follow the rules of others thinking that’s their best decision. An example of this figure would be Boxer from the book Animal Farm, when he adopted his first motto “ I will work harder” (Orwell 18) after the first harvest following the Rebellion. Boxer never knew about the advantage Napoleon was taking on towards him,
Donald Trump, America's current president. He didn’t come to power easily. But that is what makes him so important. Trump’s biggest feature was that he was never politically correct, and still is not to this day. Many people saw this as a good thing to have in a president. He wouldn't be pushed aside by some foreign country. Trump is also different from the previous president in that he was a large businessman, he was a billionaire. This means he's probably well versed in the political side of businesses. However, with this, he also lacks the knowledge of being a politician. He never held an office anywhere else. He only shares this with five other presidents. Everyone should know how Trump came to be,
Many individuals is faced with the decision of conforming or choosing personal desire, and it is not an easy decision. It is hard because being shunned by others for being different is not a good feeling. Choosing to conform over personal desire, often leads to loss. On the other hand, personal desire is what sets others apart and gives them joy. In the poem, “The Jackhammer Syndrome”, Al Purdy discusses the good and bad memories he has experienced. He goes through his memories of when he had fun and made mistakes, but he reflects on what he could have done better. The author of “The Jackhammer Syndrome informs against choosing the welcoming joy of conformity over the long-term gains of personal desire. Making the decision to pursue conformity over personal desire may seem easy at first, but if the choice is to conform, the joy it gives will not last. Making the decision to pursue conformity over personal desire Conformity may seem to give joy at first, but it does not last. When Al is playing pool with his brother, he wants to win badly, but losses. However when he did not care to win, Al wins! Conforming can lead to loss but personal desire has much to gain. If the choice is to conform, personal identity may be lost. In my life, I recognize several instances in which I found several similarities between Al and myself. I have made decisions that were not always good ones such as swimming across long distances with friends.

The individual must rebel against societal conformity. “Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.” (Emerson-quotesgram.com) People can’t just conform to what everyone else is doing and follow the path that is already made. They have to go where there is no path and make their own trail for others to follow if they want. It may be more difficult than just follow where there is already a path, but sometimes it is better to do things the hard way, because in the end it pays off in different ways. “Simplify, simplify.” (Thoreau 383) If we don’t want to conform to what the society wants, then we have to simplify our lives to make them easier on our own. If people can’t simplify their lives, then they will think that

A nonconformist is a person who refuses to fall in line with society's ideals and rigid structure. Moldbreakers, a person marching to their own drum, even the extent of anarchists can all be synonomis with the term nonconformist. Regularly, nonconformists are fed up with society's visions and wear their beliefs on their sleeves. If you've ever protested or went against a social norm, you can label yourself as a nonconformist. However, when it gets to the extreme of causing terror and mass hysteria, the nonconformist becomes the anarchist and the terrorist. While it is always a good idea to go with your own flow, don't allow yourself to be swept up and thrown into the idealistic rapids. Nonconformity beckons people with the promise of peace of mind with oneself, but does little to warn of the inevitable pitying stares and being looked down on. While nonconformists are usually known for their happiness in the agent of change role they take on, one can't forget about the darker side.
From Washington to Washington D.C the idea that Donald Trump could become president has alternately set off fits of laughter and terror. Out of all of the republican candidates Donald Trump is easily most polarizing. People either really love or really hate the businessman, who isn 't afraid to speak his mind.[2] Trump has no experience in politics, but does have the experience as a businessman. Trump’s stance on the issues taking place is difficult to determine, not because he hasn’t made an issue statement but because he has made to many issue statements and has, in fact, been a member of both political parties in previous years.

He has made clear all of his opinions on various different issues. He has been known through this race as the person who tells it like it is, but also one that contradicts most of his proposals. Donald Trump recently gave a speech discussing rising Radical Islamic Terrorism, immigration from the Middle East, and a need for a rise in national security while Manchester, New Hampshire on June 13th 2016. He centers his whole speech around discussing how bad a President his opponent, Hillary Clinton, would be in difficult times. Trump graduated from the Wharton School of Finance in 1968 with a bachelor 's degree in economics, and has become a very successful businessman. He’s the Republican nominee for this upcoming presidential election, and is a very controversial candidate and person. He has come under fire for many of his views that he discusses in his June 13th speech. While Trump does make some agreeably points, he renders his speech ineffective because of his heavy reliance on Clinton’s opinion to form his own. If Trump were to become President, his stance on important issues would need to be reached with careful consideration, and not just based on doing the opposite of his opponents.

To start off with the idea of non-conformism, we need to understand why a non-conformist behavior is good for society. Speaking from experience. I enjoyed being a non-conformist person. It made me who I am today, a person who never follows society blindly but a person who challenges society’s actions. I believe every person enjoys being himself but it is the society’s pressure that makes them a conformist. A person will always show its true nature whenever he is free of society demands to follow ideas and actions. With this new age of loneliness more and more people are finding their true self. I didn’t start with a non-conformist ideology in one day, my experience comes from being alone at the start, being alone made me connect to myself and my identity more and more leading to enjoying it, I enjoyed loneliness cause I was aware of my actions instead of following
