When we talk about excelence it is direct but when we view it like a football player or basketball player it is
Larry Fitzgerald a record earning wide receiver from the American Cardinals was the fourth overall pick in the 2004 draft (a draft is when NFL teams select eligible college football players for their team) and currently ranks fifth in all time NFL history in receiving yards per game. On November 24th , 2013, at 30 years old, he became the youngest NFL receiver to reach 11,000 career receiving yards. He agreed to an eight year, 120 million dollar contract extension on August 20, 2011.
JJ Watt’s journey to the NFL was not easy. He had to go through many struggles. Justin James Watt was born on March 22, 1989 in Pewaukee, Wisconsin and was the oldest out of his two other brothers. JJ Watt played football in highschool and in 2007 he went to Central Michigan as a tight end. Unfortunately he didn't get a scholarship offer from Wisconsin, so when he played at Central Michigan. He knew his passion for wanting to play for Wisconsin, so he transferred to Wisconsin to play football, but since he wanted to play football he would have to sit out for a season. To keep him busy
There are very few people (those few being Alabama fans) who will not call Deshaun Watson one of the best College quarterbacks of the decade. When we look at the way he played against Alabama in the Championship game, especially in the fourth quarter when he let the Tigers to a stunning win, all of his stats point to the NFL. But, so did Tim Tebow, Mr. Football Johnny Manziel, and Vince Young.
I believe what Breen is trying to say in his essay is that the Englishmen that came to Virginia were very different from the settlers of other colonies and they had a much different society develop than what was typical in the other colonies. They were a highly individualistic society. Breen believes that the personalities of those who came to Virginia were, in part what caused Virginia 's society to become so individualistic. Being so individualistic didn 't exactly work out so well for the structure of society or the well being of the colonists.
For example he has many quotes and mottos like “chest up prayed up” and “with everything you do you have a vision and a goal.” He also is very good with kids and has a foundation for them and does many things to work and play with them/ teach them the game of football. He is a very good person He has some good friends like the rock his workout buddy and a childhood friend that plays in the NFL too. He is a great positive person to He is very appreciative of his awards, avoids alcohol to a limit and says his motivation comes within him and uses it to his advantage. He also fears no defense so that helps him be tough and gnarly on the football field. He does lots other things to help him too on the field. He eats a good breakfast, He is going to gain 5 pounds of muscle and swims. He wears 84 because 8*4=32 which is how many nfl teams there are. He is getting better and better.
“I’ve never really been aware of what is said about me, whether it’s positive or negative. I ignore it. I’ve always had that mind : no one can challenge me better than myself.” -Troy Polamalu Above all with that mindset and mentality anyone could accomplish anything. You can do anything if you believe you can.
The whole reason I’m writing this essay is because Demaryius Thomas is an inspiration to me. He inspires me to work hard and do my best. If you watch his games he puts all of his effort into the game. Whether he is winning or losing. But i know he loves winning. One time before the first game of a new season he said “We know it’s a new year. Everybody 0-0. The main thing is you win or you go home”. Demaryius inspires me to play football because he is just really good at it and I love watching him play.
As a life long Cincinnati Bengals fan, I have listened to Marvin Lewis speak several times in clinics and other coaching conventions. He has a sound concept of defense, and what it takes to be successful at the highest level. I also appreciate what he has done for the team I root for, as we were mired in a decade long of embarrassing seasons before his arrival. He has brought stability, consistency, and pride back to our franchise.
Anyone that enjoys football enjoys the excitement that comes with the game. A lot of the excitement that comes with football is the touchdowns. After touchdowns, it has become customary to celebrate. These celebrations have become more tame over the years, thanks to Commissioner Roger Goodell and his anti-fun ways. Long gone are the days of using the pylon to play miniature golf or stashing a cell phone under the goal post and making a phone call. The most extreme celebration one will see nowadays is a little dance or giving the football to a kid in the crowd. Unfortunately, the media and many other people are trying to make big deal about Cam Newton celebrating his touchdowns with his signature superman
Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, Is a two time MVP, superbowl XLV champion and also a dedicated philanthropist. While not on the field Aaron Rodgers is an influential person in America because he has dedicated his time and effort for the greater good. Aaron Rodgers has helped many charities and organizations in his 9 years of playing in the NFL. He has participated in charities and organizations like, Raise Hope for Congo, Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer (MACC) fund, he teamed up with David Gruuber, an attorney, and made itsaaron.com to recongnize people that are making a difference in there comunity. But that's not all he does, Aaron's biggest contribution has been to the MACC Fund and, MACC is the Midwest
Tebow won the heisman his sophomore year and a national championship in his senior year at florida (Tebow, 2011). It was more of his social life he got to talk to a lot more people since he wasn’t homeschooled anymore (Tebow, 2011). It also promoted him to do a lot of good such as charity events, hospital visits to sick kids, and other things (Tebow, 2011). This ties back in with another well known idea which is be humble no matter how successful you are. It shows that when one achieves success and doesn’t go around bragging about it how much of a bigger person they are. Tebow again is a very good example of this. At an early age his parents told him that you are only to talk about your success on field when someone asks about it (Tebow, 2011). This has helped Tebow keep a good reputation throughout his whole life which has helped him out in other things then just the football field. It has presented him with a lot of opportunities whether it's scholarships and sport related things or business opportunities such as the book he wrote. The book he wrote through my eyes was a new york times bestseller (Tebow,
Tim Tebow is one of the most inspirational active sports players to younger kids and even adults. Tim Tebow has overcome many challenges in his life, he won the national championship in football at University of Florida as quarterback. He later entered the draft and was picked by the Denver Broncos in the first round and twenty- fifth pick. When Tim Tebow joined the league it was not for him, he had only bad games situations we usually go deep down to find talents that we never knew we had. We tend to rise to the occasion and complete tasks that need to be done by us because we are the bravest to do it. I do agree with this specific prompt because there have been times where I have had to rise above and be the bigger man to complete challenges. There are also many famous figures such as: Tim Tebow, my great uncle, and Steve Jobs. These people in one way or another have started with nothing and made millions and billions. They have all found talents that they did not know they had. Their hidden talents have impacted families, fans, and the evolution of technology.
All fame begins when you do something noticeable. For example, actors and actresses build upon their careers and reputations by achieving excellence in their personal goals, as well as perfecting their public performance.
The first section of the NFL Characters Unit covers NFL player Hines Ward and his actions to help a young teen named Carlton Dennis. Carlton felt alienated from his fellow students and was bullied for being different. Hines use of music to help Carlton reduce the disconnect between Carlton and his fellow students was very surprising to me. It showed the real power music has to bring people together. Carlton’s love of music gave him the strength to help bridge the gap between himself and other like-minded students. I also found it interesting how they sang about their city and how it is not as bad as it seems, and this appeared to also connect Carlton to his fellow classmates. Throughout the video it felt good to see Carlton get the help he needed to deal with his problems.
Success and Excellence are factors of labour and rewards of hard work. Mostly everyone in life tend to measure the outcome of any event as success or failure. This is a common term used to describe satisfactory ratings at the end of an academic session for students. It is measured in levels, as I choose to put it: high level success, low level success and failure.
