Let’s face it; alcohol is an excessively abused drug. Underage parties involving alcohol are increasing in popularity among high school and college-aged students. The drinking age should be lowered to 18 because adults can legally marry, begin a career and support a family, as well as serve in the military and prison. Along with these and many other reasons, the rebellious nature for wanting to participate in illegal activities is an immense driving force for why teens and young adults drink illegally.

Prohibiting 20 years old and below can lead the young adults to drink in some places that are completely unsupervised like fraternity houses and private parties which very unsafe for them because these young adults do not have experience on how the alcohol can affect their bodies and make them drink an excessive amount of alcohol for the reason that this is where the only place they can drink without getting caught by their parents and law enforcements. Being out of nowhere drinking these young adults are very vulnerable to be a victim of such crimes, they could be sexually abused and be robbed other people can easily take advantage of drunk people. On the other hand being drunk also can make people do some things that could possibly hurt themselves like driving drunk that could lead them to be hospitalized or even death.

Anytime a minor is caught breaking the law, punishment should be enforced accordingly. There are times when an officer will choose to release a minor who has been under age drinking to his or her parents. This way of handling the situation is a use of discretion that should not be allowed. The officer should not have a choice on whether or not to punish the minor. After the officer finishes and declares that you are driving under the influence you are charged with DUI and placed under arrest. However, during World War One, governments controlled the economy, shifting the focus of industry from consumer goods production to the production of goods that would support the war. All available civilians were put to work either directly in the fighting, or in support of war activities on the home front. Civilians played a critical role in World War One through their expression of patriotism and support of government programs, through their purchase of war bonds, and through the lifestyle changes they made in support of war related activities.

Underage alcohol drinking can have devastating effects on teenagers. It can affect teens' grades, health and many other things as well. The reasons why teenagers consume alcohol are pretty clear. What aren’t clear are the solutions to eliminating, or at least reducing the number of underage drinkers. It is vital that we do something to at least suppress this problem. By taking action, we can greatly reduce the number of underage drinkers and it could also save not only their lives, but also someone else's life as well. Underage drinking can cause many health problems as well as educational problems in a teen’s life; therefore our country needs to decrease the number of underage drinkers by increasing both the price of alcohol as well as the legal drinking age.

The story of Balaak is a strange one. Balaak is a prophet traveling on his donkey to curse the Israelites for Balaam, a king. He is stopped by an angel three times, but is unable to see the angel. While alcohol may not be the most dangerous of drugs, it is harmful nonetheless. There have been many research studies done by the National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism that prove this to be true. Binge drinking is drinking with the purpose of getting drunk, and is the most common form of alcohol consumption while it is also the most dangerous. There have been numerous researches by other organizations and scientists that have demonstrated just how dangerous underage drinking can be. These facts cannot be denied and further the belief that underage drinking is very serious and dangerous. Not only does a person run the risk of being arrested for illegal activity, a person can also be harmed.

Underage drinking, especially under the age of 21, is not allowed in the United States, because it is unsafe for teenagers. When it comes to health problems and other dangers, alcohol can be taken under poor situations where it can be overly used or misused. Alcohol is a substance that is very risky and if used incorrectly or immaturely, the effects can be dangerous to the users and the people around them. Allowing 18 year olds to consume alcohol would be bad for their health and life.
