I would like to improve my performance in the pilates exercise of roll-ups. The pilates roll-ups targets and strengthens the abdominal muscles and spine. It also tones the buttocks, lower back and hips. I am choosing an exercise that targets core strength because I have Crohn’s Disease and this affects my core. I want to build core muscle and this will help my digestive system. My fitness test in one of my first pilates classes showed I have a weak core because I had a difficult time doing the Hundreds exercise and roll-ups. If possible, I would like to double my performance in the roll-ups exercise over the course of two weeks.
